I don't think I have ever even watched one episode of RHNJ, but when I saw the wedding pictures that showed up online I just had to check this forum to see if y'all were talking about that hair! 😆🤯 And of course you were all over it! Thanks for the laughs!

I am a West Coaster so I'm not able to live chat this shit show but I always read this thread as I watch because you all are too funny! Anyway, last night's discussion involving Mary Kay Letourneau reminded me of a fun fact that I know you are dying to know. Her underage student turned husband used to DJ at a local bar near the University of Washington in Seattle and they called it Hot for Teacher Night. Mary Kay would make appearances there with him.

I had a strange dream last night that involved the Rodriguii (obviously I spend too much time here and they have invaded my subconscious like Shrek at a church potluck). Anywho, my dream involved being on some sort of missions like trip with a bunch of the older Rod kids without their parents. Like they had been trusted to keep each other in check for a few days, which was a big deal. And in this dream, the boys were incredibly aggressive and violent without their parents there. Like they were releasing years of pent up anger and frustration. It was very sad because in real life, I am sure those teenage and young adult boys have a lot of built up emotions that they will never truly be able to deal with. And the Rod girls too for that matter.

Are the Kardashians even Catholic? Or maybe Travis is? I feel like this wedding sponsored by D&G to be one of the most tacky, sacrilegious affairs that I have ever seen. A new low (guess they still haven't hit bottom) from this family. Also, Penelope looks like she has been at a funeral in pics from this whole trip, just miserable. Poor thing.

Wow. Philip's cheekbones look like they could cut glass. And not in a high fashion model kind of way. In a 1mm layer of skin over his skull kind of way. Way too much fasting for Jesus. Poor kid ☹

So to address some of the confusion over Branwyn's living situation in the live chat, it looks like she was incarcerated in Oregon. She said her friend and former roommate (the lady that was at her release) lives in Vancouver, WA which is right across the border from Portland. And Branwyn can't leave the state of Oregon for her 4 month parole or whatever situation. That's where the best friend's ex baby daddy's apartment comes in. Portland and Vancouver are very connected cities despite being in different states. To that point, I was born in Portland but never lived there. My parents lived in Vancouver when I was born and the hospital happened to be in Portland. Another fun fact, Oregon doesn't have a state sales tax so it's a popular shopping destination for those who live in southern Washington.
I know most of the live chatters are on the east coast so I thought I would drop some west coast knowledge into the mix 😊 I read the live chat as I watch every week. Wish I could actually join, damn time zones. Carry on!

If Meri is truly happy and secure in herself, then more power to her. I am just sad that the list of people who "fill her cup" doesn't include family. There are what, 24? people who are supposedly her immediate family and she can't rely on any of them to bring her joy? Seems pretty sad and lonely to me. I know that many people are not close to their families but this show is literally supposed to be about wives who are like sisters...

I finally figured out that Tai reminds me a lot of Tiffany "New York" Pollard of Flavor of Love fame. With her NY accent, she pronounces both Hottie and Boston just like the HBIC, since both Hottie and Mr Boston were contestants on the series.

You know, I think it is really easy for Robyn to lay down all these over the top "rules" because she has all her 5 (6 if you count Kodouche) children still at home with her. She never had to make the choice to still see her kids or not. I bet the two older ones don't work either so they have been able to all hole up together and not have any "outside" contamination worries. Janelle, Christine and Meri all have grown adult children who didn't all live at home or for some even in the same state and they had jobs and lives that made it much harder to quarentine and isolate. So Robyn didn't have to make any hard choices about whether to see her kids or not like all the other wives did. I believe it was Janelle in this episode that said something about choosing her kids over the rest of the family every time. Robyn didn't have to choose and was able to enforce her impossibly high standards to keep the rest of the family away and lived happily in her own little isolated kingdom.

That Hunter was there for his "bonus sister" more than Ysabel's own father speaks volumes. I was in tears when watching Ysabel wake up from her anesthesia and pretty much her first thought was to ask for her sorry excuse of a father. I have two daughters, 5 and 2, and the only excuse I would give my husband for not being there for either one of them after major surgery is if he was deployed or deceased.

Since both Bianca and Romonte had previously had weight loss surgery, it seemed to me like Romonte was cooking for her at the beginning how he wished he could still eat. Living vicariously through Bianca if you will.

Gigi Hadid was trying wayyyyy too hard. Personally I think she is gorgeous but her vocal tone and comments left much to be desired.

I feel like that would be just about the most JillR thing ever. Making her kids pay for their own Plexus while simultaneously demanding that they drink it. Therefore, she uses them as "advertising" but also makes money off of her own children.

Rachel must be one of the dumbest teenagers I have ever seen on my tv. I mean, not one to cast stones, but she has said over and over that she doesn't want another baby right now. But she also can't be bothered to use birth control or not have sex for 30 seconds. I guess all the guys in her town must know she can't close her legs for anyone and even if they do knock her up, she won't get a paternity test to find out who the father is anyway so they don't have to take any responsibility. During the few days she ovulates in a month, could be any number of boys donating sperm depending on how drunk she was needing to fuck. What a sad cycle of dysfunction. Even her crazy sister hasn't managed to get knocked up yet and her baby is already one. SMH
