  1. Trump has only one decent surrogate. He's always well mannered, has a warm smile on his face and he will admit some obvious facts from time to time. He definitely doesn't come off as delusional as the other surrogates. He actually comes off as if he can read unlike the rest. I forgot his name.  He never seems like he's filled with the hate of that Delgado woman nor all the rest of Trump's surrogates. He was at one time a against Trump and he said he gradual came over to supporting him.  Oh, I think his  name is Steve Cortes?

Hillary won the US Territory of Guam, overwhelmingly. But it doesn't count because, among other things, they aren't part of the Electoral College.

Well she won that little district/town in New Hampshire in the wee hours of the morning which I loved, because she went on record first with a win that does count.

  3. You know what I wonder, who is Bonnie speaking with on her cell when she's at the hospital in the flash forward? It can't be Anna because by that time Anna is in a jail cell without a phone.  She's not talking to Michaela, because Michaela finds out by the phone call from Oliver that was meant for Connor when her mother answered his cell phone. So who the hell is Bonnie updating about Laurel? She's not talking to Frank, or maybe they make up, nope, I don't think so. Whether he's dead or not, would she be calling him?

This "If you believe in ..., then you have to vote" section of HRC's speech is great.

HRC: "I regret how angry the tone of the campaign became."
Voice from the crowd: "Not your fault."

Yes! I spit my drink right out, died laughing.

Damn if I don't love this man. I'm going to miss him.

HRC and Obama on stage together.

I love that he helped her put the step stool down on the podium and, then said "when it's your job, it'll be permanently down for you"

    He said that?  Aw, heartwarming.

My boss was saying how low she was going showing that ad that was all just Trump talking (the one with the kids listening).  My response was that normally I'd be disappointed for her resorting to negative ads, but in this case, people cannot be allowed to forget all the scumbag things he's said.

    Exactly.

Yeah, that's not low that's reality in your face and once you've seen it on loop and you still want him representing your children around the world, then by all means go right ahead. But why should people be sheltered from the words right out of that dickwad's mouth? Hillary didn't put the words in his mouth and when he said them he wasn't behind closed doors, he was on a damn stage with news outlets covering what he was saying. Which means, that any child could have turned on a tv and seen him saying that shit in real time.  If folks like your boss want to believe that Trump will be able to restrain himself should he get elected and that the Hillary campaign shouldn't have put his words on loop and played it for the country, because um, if they just let it go, no child would ever have to know that their president has a mouth full of shit for saliva, then again, go right ahead with that delusion.

That was like Chris Matthews offense at the cuts of the KKK in their "uniforms" in another Clinton campaign ad. where they were saying in their own words how Trump represents  them, him hesitating on denouncing David Duke and hiring Steve Bannon, yet Chris Matthews is offended that the ad. was even made. Boy bye. This is not a time to make people feel comfortable with that kind of racism when it's a heartbeat away from the oval office,  by not going there. The Clinton campaign went there courtesy of Trump's nasty mouth, and I for one am glad they didn't sugar coat any of it.

  6. Francesca Chambers adds nothing to Hardball, why does Chris continue to have her on. She bugs.

She's an idiot if she thinks that newspapers overseas will report on possible investigations into whatever Hillary, should she win this election. Is she not listening  to the topic of discussion, it's about what the rest of the world will be reporting should Hillary make history. It will be that we did the opposite of that xenophobic, nationalist Brexit shit that happened in England and/or this country has elected the first woman president. But no, out of everyone with a brain on the panel she says that newspapers in England will be reporting about investigations to come. I don't know where's she's been but she can go into hiding again.

Really, if he wins, we're fucked. Even with the checks and balances in place on the system in general, the ability of the Executive Branch to unilaterally do all kind of things has grown SO much in the past 50 years or so that even if we rationalize that Trump could be impeached, or that even HE wouldn't start a war, that in the meantime all kinds of other horrible things could happen to people.

If he wins, there will be no checks and balances. If he wins our democratic government is over. If he wins the nazi Steve Bannon wins. If he wins truly, get ready for the second civil war, because we will be headed there. The militias are already armed and trained so...

They're in second year - a good chunk of the first episode was spent showing how they spent their summers. And as others have said, they talk about their other classes relatively often - mostly in the context of studying for tests/exams.

I pity the kids for having such a nightmare mother.

    That's right, thanks.

I think she's done a pretty damn good job of sticking to the high road. At some point she had to fight back against some of the stuff he keeps throwing at her.  She couldn't ignore it all. If I were in her shoes, I'd have exploded all over the place and probably made myself look just as crazy as he made himself look. In my opinion, she's been high road all the way. This morning KellyAnne Conway said Hillary had run the most negative campaign she'd ever seen, and my head started to pound because we are obviously not watching the same campaigns.

Exactly, I just love it when Hillary is compared equally to Trump in terms of how low this campaign has gotten, please, the false equivalents.

I've only seen two journalist check some of these surrogates when they make these false equivalents.

  9. Was I suppose to empathize with that mother in this week's case? Because I didn't.  There's a difference between trying to teach your children not to be entitled, whiny little bitches, and just being plain evil toward them. She was talking all this shit about what she gave to her children yet I don't recall specific testimony of the "horrid" way they treated her over the years. Were they treating her horribly when she gave them those humiliating nick names, I doubt it.

Please, I love Anna and the Keating-5 are adults and should accept culpability, but sorry, Anna is supposed to be the leader. She's the one teaching them about the law and its practice, that's why they're in law school for crying out loud. She's the one who is suppose to be teaching them about ethics.  Quite frankly, I would have gone to the cops but knowing how manipulative and above the law my instructor was, I would certainly be afraid that she would manipulate the situation and I would be the only one in the end going to jail and not fucking special snowflake Wes, who actually committed the murder. Nope, I'm sure as hell not on the poor Anna, the Keating-5 are ungrateful little shits bandwagon.  Her Wes this and that bugs the shit out of me, advising them against going to the cops as soon as Sam was killed, because she's sitting up there trying to protect her favorite Wes at the expense of everyone else. Yeah, when it came to his turn to tell her off, he is actually the only one who should STFU. Now I see why folks hate Wes, I didn't pay attention to it before because I hadn't latched on to a favorite yet. But now that I do have my favorites, I'm sick of Anna trying to protect his ass. She keeps acting like it's about all of them equally, but it's not, it's about that connection she has with Wes. I loved Connor going over to that house and threatening to kill his ass. He's at that police station turning on someone and getting immunity but when he talks is his ass going to sell Michaela, Connor and Asher down the river, meanwhile protecting Laurel of course.  And if he does that he will definitely be on my shit list since Micheala and her little side family of Connor and Asher are now my favorites.

  10. I don't get it though, are we supposed to assume that they are taking other classes? Because no way can they just be taking courses still with just Anna. They started with her HTGAWM 101 class, now we are in this clinic. They're still first year right? So 101 course, and now this clinic, does that seem right? Shouldn't they have other law professors?

Opinion piece by David Brooks extolling Hillary's skills at governing and getting things done.  Brooks is a conservative, but he's a conservative who "gets it" and hasn't chugged the Orange Kool-Aid.

If the Republicans want to take back their party and build a new, then they will put a muzzle on Chaffetz, Gowdy and Cruz, it's as simple as that. Sorry to say but McCain is acting like a punk because he's desperate. But he and Lindsey Graham know damn well they are on record admitting that Hillary is good to work with because they've done it, they've worked with her on an issue or two, back before the republicans let the Cruz's and Gowdy's into their party whose main goal was to obliterate government. No, they don't want to make it smaller, they want to wipe it out.  So if they want their party back in working order they have to give up on any of their voters who don't even like to see them having conversations with democrats, that shit is ridiculous.

This. I don't think that Annalise is intentionally evil and I *really*

What she is, is not well. She needs a real therapist and not the quack of therapist her dead husband was, crossing all kinds of lines. I saw that somewhat warm moment between she and university president and I was like, run girl, run. Yeah, when she took her phone and seemed like she cared about her situation and thus recommended an attorney for her yeah, run. All I could think was if she got mixed up with Anna she would surely relapse and lose her kids for good. That twice a week visitation would be gone. Anna should not be in contact with healthy people let alone the characters on this show who have issues. They all have issues and you throw a destructive puppet master in the mix to manipulate and control them and...

She's not evil, I agree, she's just not well and she attracts others who are not well. She researched the Keating-5 and picked them based on their weaknesses, she surely didn't want any of them for any strengths they may have. She's also afraid to be happy, she all but said it I think during the Eve episode. Of course if she and any of these characters were healthy and happy we wouldn't be loving this show so much.

  13. You know it's funny, I was highly offended when President Bush Jr. was overseas, can't remember the country, but they threw a shoe at him. I was actually impressed with his quick reflexes and the way he ducked behind the podium. But as an American I was offended, it's alright for me to say and think that my president is a buffoon, but it's not OK for another country to treat him/her that way. It was like they were throwing the shoe at this country, and figuratively they were, our president represents us.

However, if they threw that same shoe at a God forbid a President Trump, I wouldn't be offended at all, because he is that offensive to me as a human being.  I think he could be the second coming of Hitler. I don't want him representing my country.

I've been thinking about the "come at me, bruh" scenes and it strikes me that of the four that contributed, Michaela's was the most heartfelt and emotional. Which brought me back to the pilot, because even then Michaela states clearly "I want to BE her" - so it make sense that she would be reacting  so strongly and have the biggest emotional punch in the scene. Annaliese Keating represented to Michaela what she was working so hard to make her life into, only she was revealed to be a total sham and disaster, and Michaela has been watching her own future swirl down the same drain. Connor's whine was the same since season 1 ("You never let us go to the police"), Laurel's was blunt but a little more self-aware (she knows she's the puppet, but she does things anyway, so she knows she's given up her agency for whatever reason), and Asher's was interesting, if brief, if only because we only ever get glimpses of trueAsher. But that was really Aja Naomi King's scene, and she delivered, marking the first time I've ever been really interested in Michaela and felt like she could go toe-to-toe with VD...almost.

Totally agree, she literally had tears in her eyes, because unlike the rest she really did idolize Anna. Damn, what a let down. I actually thought that Michaela and Wes were the only ones who were not on board when in one episode Laurel was happy at the thought of Anna being fired, she said something to the effect of she'll be out of our lives and Wes and Michaela you could see didn't seem like they agreed. I'm still not sure Wes is turning on Anna, and I can't really tell how he truly feels about her. I believe his feelings were purposely left open to anyone's interpretation.

Yeah, well VD went to Juilliard and Aja went to the Yale University's School of Drama so I'd say that hell of tuition fee is starting to pay off. She's got some chops and she's young so, she should only get better. She was in this movie Birth of a Nation and she's the one whose performance is getting the most recognition.

Lawrence O'Donnell also, said a story is breaking that the National Enquirer was paid to sit on a story about an affair Trump had with a Playboy bunny while married to Melania. While I know none of his supporters will give a shit about this, it's nice to see some chickens coming home to roost.

Not only that didn't they just report a story on LOD that Melania worked 10 jobs as an undocumented worker?

You know what worries me?  Even when !!!!! HRC becomes president, we'll be going through this whole crapfest again in four years.  Cause you just know the repugs will be planning a much better strategy for the next election, plus DT may even give it a second try, depending on how much money he makes off his adoring minions after this go-around.  If there's cash to be made off the elections, we can pretty much count him in.

OH --- correction to my above post about Mrs. T's visa problem:  it wasn't 10 months of work, it was 10 modelling jobs she got illegally paid for before securing the proper papers.

Yep and if she's willing to go through that shit for four years, then I sure as hell can stand with her. Right along with voting in every local election that comes up so that she and the democrats get as much support as possible.

They keep saying that shit to suppress the vote because it is exhausting just thinking about how she will tormented all the while trying to work for the American people, sorta like how Obama was treated but on steroids. But that shit doesn't work with me nor the 100 year old black lady they tried to deny the vote to. If she can fight, after living through Civil Rights era, then....

It's moments like Trump dissing Christie about the bridge that, for a moment, makes me feel in touch with why some people like him.   I' mean, I think his delivery is kind of funny, like a Jewish standup comic pointing out something so absurd.

It's hilarious, every time I see the clip about Christie, I die laughing,I can't help it.  I laugh at the Loretta Lynch on the plane spiel he does as well, about not being able to talk about his grandchildren for more than 2 minutes.  It's a darn shame he's such a racist, sexist, xenophobe....because he can make you laugh. His delivery is so NY, it's a familiar sound to me. He, Leona Helmsley and Al Sharpton, always on tv and on the front page of news papers in NY while I was growing up. If he weren't running for the highest office in the land one could sit back with popcorn and chuckle but...
