That's hilarious; I'll have to go back and look. What's the dress look like?

It was kind of retro looking, blue and orange, graphic pattern. Long wrap dress. I actually really like it, but doesn’t fit me well ☹️

  2. Holy crap, is this getting off to bad start!  Loved seeing Sandy squirm but that whole situation really did suck. I felt bad for all of them. That chef had absolutely no idea what he was doing. That provision order! Omg! Did u see all the fruit he ordered? I mean trays and trays of fruit, berries and there was an entire tray of fresh figs! They go bad in like 1 day! Ugh, i just felt bad for him because clearly he couldn’t handle it and just wanted out in any way, he took the knee pain and just ran with it. You could tell he was fighting back tears the minute he saw that provision order. He knew he was screwed.  Also, and i think this is completely unfair—that boat is way too big for this type of show that only uses 1 chef. This is the type of yacht that uses more than 1 chef, has sous chefs and food runners. The galley was huge. The pantry being 2 floors down is ridiculous for only 1 chef. Agreed, this episode was so cringe and extremely hard to watch. Yes, those guests are high maintenance a-holes but i would be just as upset and say the same things to Sandy.  The primary with “steam and hang all my clothes” while wearing a dress from Forever 21.  I literally have that exact same dress, it was $27.  I mean, that meal was just inexcusable.  I think sandys excuse is going to be, look it’s a pandemic, this is the best we could do. If i were that primary, i would demand my money back and leave. Side note, i love Lloyd! I though from the previews he would be a huge dork, and that mustache is a no, but so far, he’s my favorite. The preview for the rest of the season looks like a nightmare.

I loved Sandy's description of "thinking about hanging it up, but I wanted to come back and mentor people yada yada." So really, she was thinking of quitting yachting? Or quitting TV YACHTING and mentoring people ON TV.

The preview intro of lots of drunken shenanigans leaves me fearful of this season.

Does chief stew Katie remind anyone else of Mariel Hemingway circa "Manhattan"?

This is Sandy’s way of covering her ass when she isn’t asked back next season. I think her  and Malia were already contracted to do this season. But Sandy knows with all the hate, this is her last season. So, now she’s gonna say she was planning on retiring —-and that’s why she’s not doing the next season.
And yes, Malias ultimate goal is to become a captain, but she’ll do this show for the money and fame.

I don’t think that’s it. I think Jade’s cheap and doesn’t want to pay for a quality caregiver and her toxic family is “free”.

Exactly. I think they just all use each other. Jade uses Sean and her parents for free child care and they use her right back because they know she wants then free childcare.

Correct.  It's not a "true farm."  It's a tourist attraction.  And Matt seems to have done alright for himself -- and his entire lazy family -- NOT growing pine trees...

Back to the episode: Z&T debating whether or not they could bear to leave their Nightmare of Stairs in the 'burbs to occupy the LP-friendly farmhouse was pretty funny.

This is exactly why I hate how Audrey refers to Jeremy as “farmer”. He is not and never has been a farmer!!! All he did was help with pumpkins once a year. That kid is far from a farmer !! Stop calling him that! They all live in a fantasy land. They want to live on a “farm” or be called “farmers” without doing any actual work

Now that's how you do an apology/admission of having done wrong.  I have to admit that for most of the season I loathed Natasha, even after hearing that she'd supposedly already admitted to being wrong on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, because I had viewed her first appearance on that show when she wasn't the least bit sorry, so I refused to watch her again thinking that there's no way this leopard has changed her spots.

I have to say though, after listening to what she was saying as well as watching her face and body for possibly contradictory body language, I really do believe she was sincere.  She struck me as having been very introspective and thoughtful about how she'd behaved wrongly during the season, especially as regards Daisy, and in a very classy manner acknowledged that she had a chef's ego but didn't have to be that way as a human being.  My hats are off to her for her being able to show growth and maturity in how she spoke about her failings during the season.

And speaking of Daisy, IMHO Daisy was a fabulous chief stew.  She may not have the quick wit of Kate, but she has her own strengths that she brings to the chief stew table.  She's always upbeat and bubbly and giggly with the guests, who seem to like and appreciate her.  She's always "service with a smile".  She also had a great relationship and rapport with her under-stews.  It was said by Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live where Glenn and Daisy just recently appeared that Kate thinks Daisy is the best chief stew thus far, which is high praise.

Additionally, another person who was a class act from the very start of the season to the very end was Colin.  I really admire how he manned up and told Gary himself that he was the ones who had spilled the beans of what he had been planning to do as revenge for Alli briefly dumping him.  That guy is definitely a catch.  All season long he helped everybody and anybody who needed help, especially Natasha.  His girlfriend is one lucky girl.  My heart melted for him when he got the call about his beloved dog.  I FLOVE this guy!!!

After the horrible bru season and the most recent season of Captain C U Next Tuesday Sandy and bosun Malaria, I thought this season was a breath of fresh air.  Yes, the antics of the Gary, Sydney and Alli thruple did get tedious at times, but overall I enjoyed the season.

Could not agree more with your last paragraph. Kate is my favorite but her last season was awful. And i cannot stand Malia and Capt Sandy—i can’t believe they are bringing them back for another season, it makes me not want to watch at all! Agree that Daisy is the best chief stew since Kate, i would like to see her come back. Sandy needs to go already!!!!

  7. I actually really liked this season! I loved everyone on board except Alli. I hated the first season, could not stand Georgia and that other drama queen stew. I much prefer these shows when they actually cast crew that know what they’re doing. I hate when they hire inexperienced crew just for the drama. It was great that Natasha admitted she was wrong in the end.  Of course i could’ve done without all the make out scenes with Dani and JL and i loved Sydney being totally insane! She’s crazy and I’m here for it

  8. I like this show a lot, not as much as spring and holiday baking championship, but I’ll take when those shows are not on. I don’t mind Jason, i think he comes across as very knowledgeable. I like Carla, but not this season in this show, i agree that her theatrics are ruining it. Although I’ll say i do like her better than Marcela Valladollid. Gesine is of course very knowledgeable and i enjoyed her baking show, however some of her comments on here are just too much, it’s like calm down already.  I like the regional dessert idea but agree some are just stupid, boring or strange. I thought jello challenge was actually kind of cool because they made sophisticated jello desserts. My favorite is Candice although i know she isn’t going to win. She’s a hot mess most of the time but i like her Brooklyn attitude. I’m over Jackie. Who the hell puts passion fruit with coffee, coconut and hazelnut? I knew that would be on the bottom.

  9. Gosh, so much to comment in this episode. This Dr should be ashamed of himself, offering these discounts or free plastic surgery or whatever they get. Jade is gonna look exactly the same or worse after this. And to not even meet the dr until the day of the surgery? Omg, she is crazy.  And she said her, Sean and Kloie flew to Miami together, could u imagine being on that plane? Ooof. Also why bring Kloie?? U want her to see you in extreme pain? Why is she bringing the whole family? I’m sure the mom offered so she could get her hands on Jades painkillers

Burning question - will Kail pronounce Devoin’s name correctly?

I’m sorry but are we supposed to pronounce his name “devoouuwwn”? Um, no. I would refuse and just say the way Brianna does.

Jade's mother was a surgical nurse????  What?! What happened to her?

Surgical nurse??? Um, no way i believe that. Surgical Tech, maybe and that’s a strong maybe. I’m pretty sure she’s like a CNA right now.

  11. I really enjoyed this show because I’m really into furniture design and building. I know the show is called “designer” but i thought that it was interesting that Arielle was the only designer who really only designed pieces and then contracted others to actually build the components, whereas almost all the other contestants designed AND built their pieces.

  12. I’m sorry but all 3 of Mackenzies kids are going to to be f**ked up. Broncs definitely has something wrong with him. He looks like he’s on drugs. And were those fillings on all those teeth????? He’s 4!!! Do your job as a parent  and make sure that kid brushes his teeth twice a day! That is child abuse. Since the dad is all “he’s a kid, he’ll grow out of it” is that why he doesn’t care about he kids teeth? Cause he’ll grow out of them??? Mackenzie wasn’t joking about not being able to give him any attention—right down to his teeth. I’m sorry but she should be embarrassed by those.

  13. I eat 3 eggs on my 2 days off a week so i don’t think 5 eggs is that crazy, especially for a muscle meathead like that guy. If i were Daisy, i would have told Natasha to bring the eggs up herself if she thought they were over easy. And even the scrambled eggs looked disgusting, way too soft, barely cooked, i wouldn’t have eaten those. And why didn’t daisy just straight up say, “the guests said the portions were too big” or tell Natasha to ask them herself if she didn’t think so. I want to like Natasha but she is terrible

  14. Holy crap, what a great episode because of Leah!!! Something must’ve happened because we haven’t seen or heard Leah be like this before and it is so awesome. I bawled my eyes out when Kristina gave her that gift. Kristina has to walk a fine line too because you don’t want to be like, look at me, I’m so much better than your birth mom, but i think Kristina knows how important it is to make sure Leah knows that she is special and loved.  And that phone call with Shawn! Omg so good! I was surprised that he did not take her side at all and she was pissed!! I wish we could see Amber as she watches these episodes and hears what leah is saying about her. And also what Gary says, which is why he is trying to talk to Leah because he knows that Amber will blame Gary and Kristina for Leah not wanting to talk to her.
Amber is so dumb, if she cared about Leah at all she would’ve gone to the hibachi dinner, sat next to Leah, and then asked her in person, “hey let’s you and me have a girls night birthday at my house. I got tons of make up and we can do makeovers and watch movies and eat ice cream and talk, it’ll be so much fun!”

    But nope... ughhh.... good episode

  15. Wow! Leah telling it like it is !!! She knows exactly what is up! She straight up said, when i go there, she just sleeps all day!!!

Amber is so delusional. She just kept repeating, I’m a good mom, over and over again? Like is she trying to convince herself? When she says stuff like that, why isn’t anyone saying , if you’re such a good mom, why don’t you have custody of either of your kids???  All these people around her just appeasing her, like Gary and that therapist, aren’t doing her any favors. Why can’t anyone really call her out on anything? Like ask her what has she actually done for Leah? When she comes over, what do u guys do? I know Gary just wants to keep the mtv money going, so he will never cross her. But it’s like Amber, have plans for when Leah comes over. Play games, go out for ice cream, do crafts together. Make Leah actually want to come over! It’s not hard! You’re not even trying. I’m so glad Leah is finally speaking out. There may be hope for her yet.

  16. Lolo  is the absolute worst! I’ve hated her ever since she was on that Challenge special and told everyone that she should win because her charity was more important than their charities. Poor Nam! I bet he would be having any problems with any other partner. I hope she doesn’t get in the final.

p.s. i know ur joking, i was just completely baffled by her ordering scallops, dammit!

  18. Ok, I’m confused. Natalie does know that SCALLOPS are living creatures right???? How could she say that stuff to him when she ordered SCALLOPS!!! And why didn’t he say that to her??? I’m thinking because he thinks scallops are a vegetable???  What a hypocrite!!!
