I thought Tracee handled the PPD beautifully, but Dre still irritates me. I know they're all broadly drawn, but his self-centeredness drives me batty and makes me wonder what Rainbow ever saw in him. Saying he wants Rainbow to keep up breastfeeding because it helps with weight loss?! Seriously? And what happened to the parental leave he was supposed to take? Junior and the kids were doing everything Dre should have been doing. That said, I do still love the comic bits, like Pops, Jack and Diane and the office interactions.

Beautifully put...Dre has always sneered at Bow's family, as well. Agree about the comic bits, except for Diane.  Dre, Ruby AND Diane should be exiled.

I’m so happy he didn’t get to Julia.

I would have been happy either way...loved the high-five!  Never understood the Julia love....thought she was a drip.

It's always mixed comedy and drama. Mostly at the same time. Most shows with black casts do that. I think because there are so few all black shows or dramas in particular that they end up addressing a lot while they have the chance. And we've seen the pure comedy plotlines that could have come from the initial after birth issues. I always applaud them going a little deeper.

It's not about Diane being smart or not. It's another joke regarding Diane being a possible sociopath.

Diane is an unsavory brat....can't stand her, never could.

Now, see, I was finding Austin really annoying but when he said he didn't like the Eagles I decided he might not be so bad.

Just the opposite for me....I'm still rooting for him...I mean, to each his/her own...but his sneering response lowered him a few pegs in my own estimation.

How is it that I still like Austin, but couldn't stand Pasha? Haha.

Me, too...Austin is AOK with me...Pasha looked like a high school shop teacher (no offense...to shop teachers)..also looked like he needed to pee really bad.

I think the casting is really good, with the exception of the brother, and even that, I can wait on a final judgement. It's hard to make everything work in 22 minutes.

The lead, the twin, and the parents really landed for me. I haven't watched TBBT regularly in years (why when it's rerun a zillion times a week?), so I'm fuzzy on the history with his dad, but I felt like they nailed what they were looking for with him.

I agree, except for the twin...she and the older brother are both miserable. The lead is a doll, but I have to make myself forget what an unpleasant creep he grows up to be.

I hate the Progressive "turning into your parents" commercials, especially the woman who yells about "turning the car around" when no one is in the back seat.  That just seems psychotic.

I pretty much hate all Progressive commercials, but inexplicably I don't mind Flo.

We're opposites...I love the former...she sounds just like my dad did...but I detest all Flo commercials...especially the ones in which she plays every member of her family

Oh I love it. It's a category any contestant should be able to dominate but they always overthink it.

I dismissed Sebastian as a poser as soon as he was introduced as "an independent filmmaker from Los Angeles". Yeah you and every other convertible-driving, iPhone video shooting bro in that city.

For TS I got means, Swee pea, Splendor in the Grass, and Scott Turow, and the Shutter Island DD. It took me a sec to get to Seychelles because Zanzibar popped in my head but I didn't think it was particularly tongue twistery. Once I went the other way -- getting the tongue twister first -- I was like oh Seychelles!

Too bad Chloe couldn't hold off Jon.

Chloe was ok at first, but she was dead to me as soon as she said "Bri-in"

  9. Like others, I only focused on the flower and couldn't come up with anything..and, while I'm a huge fan of musicals, I HAAAAATE "The Sound of Music" and have done my best to block it from my memory, so I was never going to get it.

I'm so glad Nathan won! William knew a ton but I didn't like how he read DD ahead of Alex and was jumping out of his pants to answer. Smarty pants LOL

The TS I got were Logan's Run and face palm. It took me a sec to get FJ but I finally figured out who might be playful enough to use a punny pseudonym... in Florida... in the 60s.

I'm not particularly bothered when Jeopardy! names a category something like "Women _____" but I was deeply annoyed by the "African-Americans" category. No qualifier like "authors", or "politicians" or "musicians" but an entire ethnic group whittled down to 5 clues, 3 of which are Black History Month go-to's Thurgood Marshall, Malcolm X and W.E.B DuBois. I've never seen a category titled "Women". Gah.

I'm glad Nathan won, too!! A fellow Michigander, plus he applauded for the others.  William bugged me from the outset for some reason.  And I know I'm in the minority, but Brandon didn't bother me.

You're right she wasn't, but just by about 4 years.  Not too far off.  She was born in 1976, GF I came out in 1972.  More the fact that Reese Witherspoon obviously does not look Italian, at all, should be a clue.

It was an infant...and a boy, at that...

I knew CCC because my father was a participant. From Philadelphia, they sent him to Arizona. Go figure.

My dad, too!  Wasn't sent across the country, though...just from Detroit to northern Michigan, which was Heaven for him. In fact, his ashes were scattered up there.

Donna was starting to grow on me, especially after seeing Leah Remini and her giant lip.  She was really difficult to understand.  I hope she's told to do something about that.  Now if we could get rid of his buddies and bring back Spence and Deacon.  How about getting Mr. Pruzan in there somewhere?  Oh, how about Ricki Lake as his sister?

I'm not too optimistic that changing the wife will be a magic bullet.  There were other problems.  The writing stunk.

Plus, it stars Kevin James, who, at his very best, is about as funny as a crutch.

What an impressive game and win for Jon.  Congrats!  I don't know what it was about Megan but I couldn't stand her.

I got Fred Mertz and John Steinbeck.

For FJ my convoluted brain went like this:  Logic and proportion = white rabbit = Lewis Carroll.  Thank you Jefferson Airplane.

Megan did look pretty sour once she knew she couldn't overtake Jon...she did clap for him at the end of the double jeopardy round, though.  It was a good game...so happy for Jon!!

marcy was very cold in her greeting of Marc and was so judgmental of everything Marc said. As if two 50 year old's aren't supposed to have pasts. I thought he seemed like a decent guy, but he probably shouldn't have mentioned the fat girl online considering Marcy wasn't exactly thin.

To each his/her own, of course, but I couldn't find one thing about him that I would call decent. To me, he was obnoxious from the second he opened his mouth and it slid rapidly downhill from there.
