  1. I didn't think they had either. I think they 'd show more of a build up to it, at least, given the shows focus on them and their relationship. Curious to see where they go next with things. I can't take much more of Lukas treating Philip badly as I find it hard to watch. Hopefully Philip telling what they saw will change things up.
  2. It is very murder-y. You'd think with this number of bodies that they have there would be more than the FBI in town. Really struggling to see why Philip is putting up with Lukas at all after these last two episodes.
  3. My favorite character by the end of season three was Murphy. Murphy! Never would have believed that in earlier seasons. Never underestimate the power of a witty one-liner, consistent characterisation and believable character growth. (and all your previous favorites behaving completely out of character) Clarke annoyed me this season. Yes, she stayed with the grounders, but she could have spent a bit longer making others understand why she was doing it and smoothed over some things (but I guess that wouldn't have served where they wanted to take the plot). She seemed very primadonna to me this season and only started acting in ways I could identify with towards the end. I was fine with Bellamy season one and season two. While Bob Morley continues to be a favorite of mine, Bellamy was just stupid too many times this season for reasons that only served a plotline. Once all the characters reunited he started getting better and motivations became clearer and some of the damage was repaired, but still... I do think relying on the 30 second girlfriend with whom he had no chemistry for motivation was a mistake. I couldn't understand why he was following Kane one minute, with almost a fatherly vibe, and then wouldn't listen to him the next. Still, things were getting much better towards the end of the season.
  4. Bella's death was a surprise. Kane is just so creepy, he'll probably be even more unhinged now. Nice to see Lukas stop throwing Phillip around all the time and the boys actually talk, as limited as that was. Interesting scene and character positioning when the school bus returned and then drove away, and Gabe and Lukas' dad were left staring at each other wondering where the boys were. Are they going to be adversaries in this or trying to figure out what the boys are up to together?
  5. I am still really interested in seeing where this show is going. I am so sick of the grey, washed out everything though, it detracts from the characters and the drama - and I'm quite used to the Scandinavian palette. I am really daunted by the way Lukas physically throws Philip around though. In the first episode he pushed, shoved and punched him at various times and in this one he threw him hard against a wall. I get that he is confused, doesn't want the gay relationship and is fighting himself, etc., but I just wince every time and it seems abusive. The stakes really went up with Todd and Tracey's deaths.
  6. I thought it was really interesting. I was way more interested in the relationships than the crime. Didn't like the washed out look of everything, small town life isn't that colorless! I will decide next week whether it's going somewhere that I want to keep watching.
