I can't add much to what's already been said, & ITA with most of it. This season's show has been a total bust....except for Brooke. Love her. Another stupid tap out last night. Who wants to bet that most of the guys who whined that they missed their families, are pretty shitty to them in RL? Their S.O. at home might've been thinking 'whaaat?' Anyway, as I recall, Chris said to Brody "WE HAVE TO GET YOU HOME!", like he was doing Brody some enormous favor. What a loser, & with such obvious manipulation. I was impressed though, when Brody said 'the relationship I have w/ my brother is more important than the show'....but I still felt badly for him. Chris was too much of a coward to just say that he didn't want to be there anymore. I'm a softie, & last night The Big Butt Brothers were raised a peg. Well, not both of them, just Jim...the one who wasn't puking. He'd said something like his main priority was to nurture & care for his brother because he believes that he is his brother's keeper. Aw.... That was nice, & maybe because of that, he was rewarded with a full belly! I felt bad for the duck, but even Brooke would've killed it.

I'm rooting for either Larry or David for the win, but as some of you mentioned, it might be even more transformational for Larry. I think he has a lot of self loathing going on. Can you imagine the look on his face if he DID win? It's been fascinating to watch their transformation. I love this show! About Jose & the mussels: I worked in the restaurant business for a million years, and every time I had to be re-certified by ServeSafe, I'd freak when reading about Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning. (PSP) You can't tell if shellfish are contaminated by looking at them, there's no difference in taste, and there's no antidote. You can suffocate to death w/in a half an hour. Now, if I were truly starving to death, I'm sure I eat the damned shellfish, but eat them for the sake of a TV show? No way! Therefore, I've decided that Jose is a total idiot & fame whore who only wanted to show off his skills. Go, Larry & David!

Hi all. I've been reading for awhile, and this is my 1st post. It was good to hear that I'm not the only one wondering what's been going on w/ Jose...is it the fault of production's editing, or is it that Jose only films himself when he's building something? Somehow, I think it's the latter. He seems like a perfectionist, and only want to show us the zen and sanitized version of his time on VI. What does he struggle with, what's he been eating, how is he coping, when has he explored his surroundings? Does he even have any demons to exorcise? Maybe he'll whittle us one...WHEN will he be done w/ that boat?! I was OK w/ Justin leaving, but not w/ Randy or Mike. David is a sad-sack, but I'm warming to him, especially after his "perfect day". Tragic Larry cracks me up, and I hope Nicole wins.
