I've lived here my whole life. ( a tad north of Dfw-McKinney or east) and I've never noticed racism being prevalent around this area. We have multiple races( AA, Asian, Latino, Syrian, Indian, phillipino, etc.) and people seem accepting of all races, genders, religions, etc. my students were very accepting of a child this year who came out as trans. Even in conservative Texas, we are tolerant for the most part. You can't judge an entire state on a few stupid people.
i enjoy seeing women of all races, nationalities, hair colors, and body types trying out for DCC. As a redhead with an olive/ golden skin tone, and green eyes (weird combo) Indian, Scottish, and German descent, I would love to see someone who looks like me show up. Loren was close, but her hair was fake.
Anyway, I think Nicole B is one of the most beautiful DCC's ever.

My holy grails:
I love aveeno skin brightening moisturizer, and I'm in my 40's.
I am a huge fan of garnier micellar cleansing water.
my go to mascaras are L'Oréal manga lash and better than sex mascara. (I'm pretty loyal to TF; however, I have seen some inconsistencies in their formulas)
I love benefit's highlighting stick, candlelight glow by TF, and I'm dying to get my hands on their new highlighters.
I have always worn liquid foundation, but now i use bb cream, any brand really, and set it with powder.
My go to eye pallets are chocolate bar, ulta nude pallet I got for Christmas, and occasionally the peach ? one.
never found a great eye, brow, or lippie. Always have a complaint.

I was surprised Melissa stayed for a 3rd year so I expected her to retire.
Glad Lacey and Erica decided to come back though. And thrilled to see KaShara and Robin come back for a third year.

I have always been a HUGE Erica fan! I'm a big fan of Kashara. My three favorite vets are those two and Kelsey. I hope Kelsey isn't on the bubble.
I usually have at least a bit of an idea of who might be cut at finals, but this year I'm clueless. Yuko, but it seems they really want her on the team, it seems Selina hasn't been embraced, but she seems okay dancewise. Who knows???

I put this in 123 because I am so frustrated! I want to exercise. I need to. I'm about 10ish pounds above where I want to be. I try to eat right, but my cravings for sweets are relentless! I have a whole mouthful of sweet teeth. I really want to exercise; however, I had the stroke. I have other health issues that make exercising painful. I tried everything. I want to dance, but idk if I'll ever be there again. ?I have a bike, but I have a knee issue. I have a bad ankle, too. When I dance, I usually end up in the floor due to ankle giving out.
it's annoying because I got myself out of a wheelchair, taught myself to write with my right hand after the stroke, relearned a lot of things, but I can't do this!
sorry for venting, but any suggestions are welcome.

Ha! For Lent, I gave up social media. This is the only place I've had human interaction. I gave up
facebook, twitter, Snapchat, insta, all of it. I don't even click on pics right now. It's hard!! I don't drink, and right now I'm trying to lose weight and I always cheat so I chose something I felt i needed to get away from.

Ginger here, also. Subtle, but it's there. Anyhow, I have five ginger cheerleaders this year. Pretty cool! ?? Didn't expect that to happen.
I always thought Loren looked pretty natural. Holly not so much and she is an adorable brunette. They sure don't like to stray from that established "look."

Technically I live in a teeny town about 15 minutes east, but no one would have recognized it lol. It's where I teach. It's great, but all we have here is a gas station, a tiny grocery store, and a dollar general. I think we have about 1000 people maybe and it's a huge area. Lots of country. Supposedly we are going to explode in about 3-5 years as if you live anywhere near the metroplex, dallas basically doesn't stop anymore until Melissa on 75. A Bucee's is going in, and all kinds of other things. So sorry, this is completely off topic. ??

No Lauren Brook, I'm a Christian, too. Since I'm In public education, I have to be careful about what I share. I do like the spiritual verses, and I'm 100% sure most are genuine. I don't quote verses unless I mean them.
I absolutely love Erica. I have loved her since she first auditioned and Kitty told her she had bad hair. My hair has been the bane of my existence. I colored it BRIGHT RED because it was so freaking boring. (I am half ginger lol) I tried a pixie cut last year. FAIL she doesn't know it, but we bonded ha. Anyhow, love her!! Beautiful and great dancer ??

?I would never pick on a child for that! I mean, her mother's job is to pick a cheer squad, and she picks great ones ever year. She obviously knows what she's doing.
That being said, her daughter (Sam is it?) should NOT be subjected to ugly and rude comments. If at some point she decides to be a DCC, then perhaps she may open herself up to that. If I were her I'd run. Far far away. Enjoy college and life! Even if she's an amazing dancer, and she is pretty if I've seen the right pictures or I'm thinking of the right girl, people will still say she only made it because of Kelly. I just wouldn't fight that battle.

I'd wear that dress in a heartbeat, but it probably costs more than my rent. I'm a fit and flare girl. I feel bad for Kelly. I know what it's like to gradually gain weight. I've been sick for six years, and mine is like a yoyo. Luckily, I've stayed the same size for 2 years. She still looks amazing. Better than Charlotte. 5 pounds = -10 years
