Good morning everyone, how are things? Yesterday sucked so much I still feel drained. Saw my first Constantine commercial. For some reason I am unhappy with him being blonde, it seems weird. It looks like it took place in an old airplane hangar. And I love the people dressing up in what I consider obscure outfits. You know what was missing? A huge crowd of Deadpools. Oh wait there they are. :)

Well nuts. I seem to have used all my mojo keeping the Angels out. So either the Giants or the Cardinals is going to the WS. So how is everyone doing?

It is 95 degrees here. What the hell, Fall? You are failing.

That organ is impressive. Heh. I guess they never figured out that plowing is a two person job with one person leading the ox where they want it to go? BTW in my experience shouting instructions while otherwise being functionally useless really annoys the person who is doing all the work who you are yelling at. Edited because my grammatical error was irritating me

The Angels aren't going to win! The Angels aren't going to win! Oh my God, the Angels aren't going to win!!!! Now we just need to get Washington and the Dodgers on track...

Hey everyone, It is the first time I have paid attention to it while it was on. I didn't watch the whole episode, I got in late and I surfed during commercials and missed bits because of that. They had the teams punting (which I don't know if they called it that, but that is what it was) and I don't understand how people had so much trouble with their punts. There were a couple of teams that just seemed to not get the idea of how boats work on water. I found it bizarre. Also in keeping with my tradition of watching Octobery movies in October, I watched Dark Shadows last night and thought of Mark. It is not A team on the NL side that my team was up against. It is both teams that mine was up against. I have nothing against the Nats. There are only a couple of NL teams I care about, one way or the other.

Hey everyone It is finally getting comfortable around here, hopefully we won't see mid 90's until next May. I saw an episode of TAR tonight, I don't think I knew that they eliminated teams after every episode. I am fine with the Royals, Tigers, Orioles, Nationals, or Dodgers winning it. Anyone else is unacceptable.

Happy October everyone! Cool. Pics if possible

Hello everyone! Happy err... Hobbit day. How is everyone doing?

Ahoy lubbers! How is everyone on this fine day? I always consider today to be the start of Halloween season.

Probably true. Ugh the narrator did annoy me a lot. There was a show called The Colony that IIRC was on the Discovery channel many years ago that I really enjoyed. The first season anyway, the second season kinda fell apart. I was hoping Utopia would be more like that. Whaaa??? There is a Constantine TV show?? . . . There IS a Constantine TV show!! (btw I had so much disbelief that the show existed that I included a question mark in my google search without even realizing it was there until I hit enter) I really liked the movie, I watch it every October. Never read the Comic Books though

Out of curiosity are there any new shows that people are interested in this fall? I caught the first epi of Utopia as it was on after the Cowboy game and it is ok. I havent decided if I am going to watch more or not.

Meh, too small of a sample size. See how things turn out this year before deciding that he sucks. I heard that he was 6-6 playing in Miami and now 6-7 so it is nothing to worry too much over yet.

So how is everyone this morning? Waffles and coffee are available for whoever wants them.

Go not Angels.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a catasterous year. The only thing that can make this baseball season worse is if the Angels and Josh Hamilton win the WS.

Perfection cannot be rushed. For months Da Vinci famously stood and watched people bustle around trying to find the perfect faces for his "Last Supper." I cut down a tree in much less time. And frankly since I kind of envisioned dropping the tree on myself and dying, I think a little bit of pride is in order. I did not seriously injure myself, I really did not injure myself in any way other than five scratches on my arm, I did not drop the tree on my house and cause thousands of dollars of damage. And since it would have been my bedroom that the tree would have landed in, a little bit of pride at how smoothly it went might be justified. even if it did take me a while.

Hey everyone, how are things? I hope everyone had a great long weekend. I cut down a tree over the weekend. And i did a pretty amazing job, if I do say so myself. I only dropped one limb on me, and when I got to the trunk, I weakened it perfectly so that I had time to decide exactly where I wanted it to fall, move everything out of the way and then just push it over. I am very proud of how near flawless it went. Though it took wayyy longer than I thought it would. Chainsaw is 18 inches and the tree was 22 in diameter. The last time I am certain that I saw you-know-who play live was October 22, 2010. Though he was the last person up to bat. Link to you-know-who at bat for the last time in 2010 and the only video I have ever posted to youtube.

Hey everyone, how are things? Congrats on being a Moderator Lantern Tax reasons. They show up everywhere. And most of the time they outnumber the home field fans. It is really really annoying.

Hey everyone, how are things? Apparently Burger King is trying to buy Tim Hortons and move to Canada. Huh. What does the shield mean? You work for Samuel Jackson? I understood the words that were being used, but not really the concept they were trying to convey... Clearly not a collector mentality.

Hey everyone how are things? I was pretty surprised to learn that he had died and that suicide was suspected. Suicide seems like a permanent solution to a temporary problem. There was a Mythbusters episode where they put bullets in an oven. Without something like a barrel to direct the bullet's energy, they are pretty harmless.

Hey everyone. My buddy and I were discussing today how much July/August sucks sports-wise when your baseball team sucks. We had been spoiled the last 4 years, but things are so bad this year it is almost not worth looking up the scores on the day after the game. Saw Guardians of the Galaxy today and I thought it was ok. There were enough good parts to balance out the bad parts, so I rank it somewhere between 4-6 depending on which scenes I am thinking of. The weird thing is my friends loved it. LOVED it. loved it. I don't get it. They seemed like fairly logical guys.
