So glad that Carson and Jack won! I thought they were a fun team from the very beginning and kept a great attitude the whole way through. I also loved Pops and Jeff and Alyssa and Josiah. And appreciated how the editors kept showing the comparison between Jonathan's absolutely abusive behavior towards Ana and Josiah and Alyssa's support of each other. I hope Ana sees that and gets herself and her kids out of that situation. I also don't buy for a minute that ASD is the cause. He's just an abusive asshole who may or may not have ASD as well. I liked Han quite a bit, but Holden kept projecting his feelings onto her and being whiny about it - dude, she was calm pretty much every time you bleated "calm down". I know he's young, so I'll give him a pass. Other than the abusive jerk though, it was a good season! Not looking forward to the BB teams - but I know I'll watch anyway.

You’ve also disparaged the actress personally. I’m hardly the only person on the boards to notice it, as evidenced by other comments. And, no, I won’t take the time to quote them. We will just disagree on the performance/performer and the root of your distaste.

I’m not Patrick but you did quote my (rather old) post so I assume this is directed at me. Disagreeing with me doesn’t make you racist. But a lot of your comments sure make it seem like you are. And professional musicians think your opinion that she “tanked it” (or something along those lines) is laughable and sadly uninformed musically speaking. You are, of course, free to like or dislike any performance. But if you don’t want to be called racist you might want to rethink how you talk about the performer.

I saw this last night and was absolutely blown away. And, as a singer, am baffled as to how anyone could disparage Cynthia Erivo’s performance (aside from one really ugly reason). Both Erivo and Grande were fantastic singers and actors. Also, I could watch Jonathan Bailey Dance Through Life on repeat!

Very late to the party, but I feel like I watched a different season than many folks. I didn’t think Sarah was whiny - abrasive, maybe, but not whiny. I thought Angela and Tyson were increasingly whiny as the season went along and Alyssa was whiny from the start. I’ve never watched Survivor, Big Brother, or Love Island, so I had no prior knowledge of most of these folks. Maybe that made me view them differently from people who had seen them on other shows.
