Show, Sam is no Jessica Jones over here. Sorry. Can they just have pity on KM and let her out of her contract? More coma acting today.

Show, PLEASE,   have pity on US, too!!!!!!

really has some balls on her shading Ava for her stances on truth and sex given she fucked Ava's boyfriend like five minutes ago, not to mention all her shenanigans with Michael and Morgan.  Shut up, Keeks.

    AGREE !!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Brilliant !!!   Every aspect of the production was award worthy.  Benedict, of course, was...well, Benedict !!!  I enjoyed the characters, scenery, acting, the clever writing.

The story had more impact because it wasn't pushed on the viewer front and center.  The focus was on the character of Patrick and the story unfolded.  Bravo !!

We just binge-watched the whole series.  I've always been obsessed with it.  It did not change my opinions . . . which are:

    • Duane Deaver is an idiot and should be in prison.
    • Judge Orlando Hudson made a very intelligent summary at the end of the last episode, and I agree with him completely.
    • My heart broke for Caitlin . . . who lost not just her mother, but her entire family.

    Having said that:

    • I believe that Michael Peterson killed Kathleen.  I have suspicions about whether he killed Elizabeth Ratliff, and am not as convinced that he killed her as I am convinced that he killed Kathleen.

Thank you, AZCHRISTIAN !  I totally agree.  Michael Peterson is a narcissist.  I think we are all familiar with the traits that come with that attribute.  He believes his own lies, and thinks he is charming and clever enough to convince everyone else they are true.  I NEVER had a moment's doubt that he was guilty.

I don't understand why they pushed so hard to blame a weapon for the lacerations.  My 88 yr. old mother fell in her little room at an assisted living facility, and tore the back of her head open, making a "U" design with one arm of it longer than the other.  She had about 40 staples, and her head is very small !!  There was not a brain injury or skull fracture.  Blood pooled on the floor by her bed.   My theory is that he CAUSED her fall , and then continued to cause more scalp trauma by hitting her head against the wall, step or doorframe.  We know she could not fight back because of the tox screen report.   They admitted to her weakened condition, as well.

When we were shown exactly how Ratliff's body was found,  the location and amount of blood at the scene, and her scalp lacerations,  I felt chills.  I mean, what are the odds ?  I am in the same place as AZCHRISTIAN, however.  It would take more investigation to prove motive and opportunity.    As for Kathleen, I am convinced he killed her.

Off topic.  When I was very young I would dream of having a brother or sister that I could be close to, protect and be protected.

I hear you, SKIPPYLOU !!  My brother and I are close, and I never take him for granted.  Oddly enough, I had an only child.  Now that she is an adult, we are best friends.   In watching this show,  I had a vested interest in seeing how Paige and Henry's relationship would develop over the years.  I know that was not shown, but her first concern after learning they were going to RUSSIA  was about Henry.  I am believing that she left that train to be here for him.  I like to think I would have done the same.

  6. The look on Stan's face as he half-hugged Renee and then walked away showed me he may believe she is KGB.  Then, as a poster said above, she looked uncharacteristically strong-willed and determined, as she looked out, not following him physically nor with her eyes.

I like that we are left to our own devices in deciding the endings of some(or all) of the characters.

Paige could not even drum up enough courage to speak to Henry.  Then she is courageous enough to leave the train.  When we see her at the safe house, it's symbolic to me to see her downing liquid courage to face whatever befalls her.  And the fact that it's Vodka...

The garage scene had me in tears.  So many emotions at once. -   U2 - even more.

After seeing Finn share scenes with both Anna and Alexis today, I've decided I really prefer him with Alexis. His kiss with Anna left me underwhelmed, and I don't feel he's as naturally at ease with Anna like he is with Alexis. And Anna's tic of peppering her sentences with "you know" comes out more when she's rambling to Finn, and that's increasingly becoming annoying to me.

I agree !  Anna seems to want to be ANYWHERE except within Finn's reach.  And, yes, that kiss looked like two 12 yr. olds trying too hard, "you know"?

Actually, they had recast Felicia a number of years ago when they had need for her and she wasn't available (I think she had gone back to college) -- she was played by someone named Tammy. Around 2006 or so. IRL, Kristina Wagner has had issues with her speaking voice and had to be retaught how to speak. That's a big part of why she tends to speak slowly.

    Thanks, THEMEDIAHO, for this !

Yes, I know Kristina has always played the role. Maybe she’s always sounded like she was trying really hard to remember her lines and I have just forgotten it. She speaks so slowly like she’s running the lines through her head. It’s hard to explain. I just don’t think she’s very talented.

I get it, Gam2.  It IS hard to explain.  I noticed it waaaaaay back when she first came back after the girls were grown.   Her voice is so nasal and high-pitched.  And

her delivery is slow and OTT sugar-sweet when she is trying to speak with "feeling".  All I know is that it grates on my nerves.

I'm wondering if Nelle tripped or flung herself down the stairs. I can see her deliberately falling to frame Carly and get more sympathy from Michael. I doubt she cares about the baby as anything more than a way to get closer to Michael.

This is what I was thinking, Baxter.  Somewhere during show (today? not sure) they replayed Ava and Nelle's convo where Ava said, "How far are you willing to go?", and Nelle's face translated, "all the way" .  Then during the "fall", they showed Ava's face which seemed to translate, "whoa, ...THIS far!!"

As nice as it will be to introduce some new characters, I think we need some new interesting adults who can, you know, actually act with plots that are intriguing with perhaps some mystery attached. More boring youngsters aren’t interesting to me because the ones they’ve had in the past few years have been so boring and just awful actors. In addition, I don’t think the target audience for soaps are young people. It’s us older folks who grew up watching soaps who have kept these sorry shows alive.

    I was just thinking this, GAM2 !!!

Anyone else notice the coughing Jordan has been doing?  It happened in an episode last week, and I just thought VA had coughed and they didn't bother reshooting the scene.  But twice today, JOrdan hacked a lung and I wondered if that's a story that's starting up.

Yes, Perkie, I noticed it last week and today.   Hope she's not leaving Show.

Note:   Drew looked like a " natural " handling that gun -  more so than Jason.

  13. At one point when Carly was staring out in space holding the scarf, or the framed pic of Morgan, or after the scary phone calls

were mentioned...(I can't remember),  I expected her to whisper, "Nelle".   Still too soon, I guess.

Mike and Michael remaking The Jerk was my favorite thing today.

Mike: You don't need all that stuff! You only need one thing to raise a baby. A big heart! And you've got one.
    Michael: Thank you.
Mike: Do you have a crib?
    Michael: Yes.
Mike: Then you only need one thing: earplugs!
    Michael: ... Okay.
    Mike: And this lamp.
    Michael: ?
Mike: You've got the the big heart, the crib, the earplugs, and this lamp. You don't need anything else. Except this paddle game.

    Meanwhile, on Speech Impediment Theatre:

Drew [holds up left hand]: Yzz szzz thzzz rizzz? I chzz thzz rzzz soooo mzzy tzzes EZZERY dzzz.
Sam: [pointing up the stairs]: DWAHH! AH BAHBAH! GAH LAAK AH AAH BAHBAH!
Drew: [takes off ring]: I czz bzz hzz AZZYmzzz. [leaves]
    Sam: DWAHH! DAH GAH, DWAHH!

Are they having problems? I can't tell.

Okay Fishcakes !!   Your " Speech Impediment Theatre " is hysterical !  Thank YOU !!   I could NOT believe what I was watching today.   New low for GH and particularly these two.   I just posted yesterday how fine an actor I think BM is.   But, I realized today that I never really see that in him when he is w/ KM.   He reflects her, just as we saw in these scenes today.   YUCK.

I think Alexis had so much hubris even to agree to run for mayor. She's had relationships with male mobsters and their children, and she lost her license to practice law for awhile not too long ago because of her drinking. I'm sure that is just the tip of the ice berg. Yes sometimes ill-suited persons are elected to public office, but she and her family and supporters need to realize that they are deluded about her leadership abilities and integrity.

Agree.  I think Alexis has too much hubris, period.   I never feel any sympathy for her, because she exudes superiority.   And Molly is becoming her.
