I'm getting freaked out reading all the blood clot/PE comments. I've been flying every 2-3 weeks this year for work, plus international flights to visit family, and now I feel like a ticking time bomb.

No reason to get freaked out.  My rule of thumb is to stay hydrated and get up every hour.

  2. This show is trying to be like Parenthood and I am just not feeling it.  I felt that the Parenthood characters were all real people.  I don't feel that way at all about the TIU characters.  Randall is too over the top and Kevin is not believable.  Kate is probably the most normal person on the show.  If William really wanted to find Randall he may have been able to given that Randall found him. I have a hard time watching shows that aren't true to life.   I can accept some exaggeration, but the extremes here are too much.

I have been busy, so got a late start,  but I'm finally caught up.

Are we meant to believe that Alex did NOT cheat on the old girlfriend, but his father told her he did, in order to sabotage their relationship? Or did he actually cheat, and his delusion that it is OK because he loved her, and blaming his father for the break up is part of his mental instability?

I think Alex did cheat but it was his father who revealed it to his girlfriend.  Alex now has a new understanding of her since he now knows that her behavior was likely caused by her realization that he was cheating.  I am not sure that relationship has ended...

  4. At what point did Axe and Donnie come up with this plan? When Axe was told by his inside man that he had a janitor in Rhodes office and they brought in an informant Axe certainly acted as though this was new information. So, when did he and Donnie execute the switcharoo? It is one thing for Donnie to be a acting since he is wired up, but Axe didn't have to.

  5. Just watched this episode...

I thought the scene with Maura at the bar with Sonya Walger's character was very powerful. Maura has been enjoying her transition but it has been, for the most part, limited to others like herself and her family. Her attempt to socialize at the bar was met with a cold shoulder and maybe the realization that while she is happy with the changes going on in her life, the outside world may not be as accepting and enthused. I am sure this has to be one of the most difficult challenges that will face her and others.

This show is wonderfully written and acted and edcuational for those of us who are not part of that world.

Kudos to Soloway for bringing this to us.
