  1. Wow. No words for this - except for "What an asshole". http://www.fyi.tv/shows/married-at-first-sight/videos/sonia-walks-out-on-nick
  2. Lillian had shoulder surgery not long after they got married. You can see the (very small) scars during her interviews with Jamie.
  3. This may have been posted last month, but I'm just now seeing it. I think it explains Heather's attitude/lack of trying. Here's the quote: "Q: Were you nervous going on a journey like this, especially one that would be so public? Heather: I have been nervous about the television aspect through the entire process. I am a fairly private person so needless to say, it’s been a challenge for me. I think the only way I actually started the application was bc in the back of my mind I never thought I would be chosen." Link to the entire article: http://www.realmrhousewife.com/2016/07/26/married-at-first-sight-season-4-women-speak-exclusive/ In my mind, this fits perfectly with what I've been thinking about Heather the entire time. She had that "deer in headlights" look pre-wedding. She didn't seem excited like Sonia and Lillian did. Even during her bachelorette party, she seemed down/depressed. What was it she said - 'this time tomorrow I'll be married', accompanied by an eye roll? That was a red flag and told me she wasn't really committed to the process. Now we know why - she never expected to be picked. She probably felt like she was just going along for the ride.
  4. I agree with you - hopefully the S8YC shirt thing has been in our face because he brought several on the honeymoon for himself and Sonia. Hopefully we'll see him in 'regular' clothes when they get back to the real world.
  5. Agreed! I've never had an issue with them being paid a stipend (and I don't think it's as much as some people seem to believe). After all, they are either taking time off work - or using vacation time they won't be able to use later - in order to film the show, so I see it as just a way of reimbursing them for their losses (although a free vacation should take some of the sting out of it, lol). I couldn't afford to take all that time off - I doubt few people could. Yes, I know they CHOSE to be on the show, but that doesn't mean they have to go broke to do so.
  6. Yes, I use the same screen name everywhere. I'm too old to remember multiple ones, LOL
  7. Also - I wish that people (primarily on other sites, NOT this one) would stop obsessing over the bus issue. I can't remember if it was the Wedding Preparations episode, or a 'preview' of the upcoming season, but they already showed a clip of Tom saying he "moved in" with Lillian. They've also shown clips of him talking while in an apartment. I'm not sure if it's Lillian's place or if they got a temporary place of their own, but it's clearly an apartment and NOT the bus.
  8. Here's a screenshot of the episode guide. They might split up in episode 8. What I'd like to know is how much the cameras will keep following Derek and Heather if/once they've split. Also - I have no issue with Nick mentioning his rental/clothing business on his websites. He has just as much right to do that as the 'fan' who makes money off the show, when they had nothing to do with creating/producing it. Doesn't matter to me if the fan 'clearly' states they are not part of A&E or FYI. It's unethical, in my opinion. BTW, the "fan" I'm referring to is either a member or reader of this forum, because when I mentioned my distaste of this practice earlier - the ONLY time I mentioned it - they immediately blocked me on Twitter...which is hilarious, since I didn't follow them and had NO interaction with them on Twitter at all. The only reason I noticed was because I couldn't see a gif that a cast member had re-tweeted that had originally been posted by that 'fan' account. If you're that sensitive to someone questioning you about making money off something you have no ownership in, then deep down you know it's wrong. I also wonder what Disney would do if they saw the Star Wars shirts they create/sell from time to time. If you don't have a merchandising license, it's illegal to sell anything with Star Wars characters on it. Again, just my opinion.
  9. Drunk enough to not see the officer, and do it in front of them? Who knows. I don't see the logic in showing your boobs to get a 25 cent plastic bead necklace, but to each their own. :)
  10. Very well said, Evil Queen, and something that all parents should teach their children. Bravo!!
  11. I don't usually get involved with online drama, but that Twitter post from MAFS_Original pisses me off. I watched a Twitter drama unfold yesterday involving MAFS_Original and feel the need to speak up about it. Yesterday, this MAFS_Original 'person' (I will assume it's a female and say "her/she" from this point forward) posted YET ANOTHER link to a story about Heather being arrested for flashing her breasts during Mardi Gras when she was 19, and for her DUI five years ago. I think it was the 3rd or 4th time they posted it. Heather saw it and re-tweeted it (which is why I saw it). Heather said: "Thx 4 exposing my past mistakes so ppl can understand my journey better. #growth" The MAFS_Original 'person' got a LOT of grief from people regarding that post. Most felt that it was news that had already been shared several times, and to keep bringing it up was nothing more than stirring up drama. Someone told her it was 'mean' to keep posting it over and over again. "She" tried saying she wasn't being mean, but was trying to 'squash' rumors, but when no one bought that excuse, "she" deleted the post. So I find it ironic AND infuriating that she is now telling the "meanies" to stay away. Excuse me? SHE is the queen of mean for bashing people for their past mistakes over and over again, and for what? To try and get more followers for her account? Yes, DUI is serious, but it's in the past. The producers knew about it, she learned from it and never did it again (as her job would be at risk if she did), so why did MAFS_Original feel the need to REPEATEDLY post stories about it? I'm no Heather fan - I personally believe she is this season's Ashley (cold as ice, unenthusiastic and there for all the wrong reasons) - so please don't read my anger about the situation as blind love for/defense of Heather. I just have NO tolerance for online bullies, and yesterday's post felt like bullying to me. The post from today is a good example of the pot calling the kettle black. Venting over. Getting off my soapbox now.
  12. It's true... here I am making guesses on who is still together and we haven't even seen them interact, LOL. However, I can say that based on what I've seen on their personal, pre-MAFS accounts, they seem like genuine people who are in this for the right reasons. Sonia is an absolute doll. Lillian is a bit more flashy, and there's a sales pitch from time to time, but she's a realtor, so I'm not surprised. They network like crazy. :) But who knows (I think I'm going to adopt that as my catchphrase for the season, lol).
  13. Yes, it was Tom. You could see Lillian's arm tattoo in the frame.
