Channel 11 decided its viewers would rather watch Jeopardy!

Channel 4 in Detroit also decided to air Jeopardy instead of Zelensky. Which I think is fine, as he could be watched on other channels

Was rooting for Michael, although I was ok with the other two.

always thought massive cemeteries were more of a west coast thing

The cemetery where my in-laws are buried,  in Michigan,  is a mile long north to south,  and at least a half mile east to west.

I totally get how Bob feels. His mother's early death is still a huge aching loss for him. My husband was fifteen when his dad died. He's 72 now and still tears up sometimes when he remembers his dad, but never visits his grave

And kudos to the writers for making us feel so deeply about an animated character

believe a searchable database didn't really take off until the late 90's.

Hmmm...my beast friend in the early 80s worked for Xerox, which ultimately became ProQuest. Part of her job was coming up with keywords to enable search of the doctoral and other academic papers they stored.  I suspect that the papers were still literally paper, or crude scans, but you could at least see the abstracts in the database

So I'd say Sheldon is cutting edge for e-commerce,  but not necessarily search

I've been getting many social media ads for the tournament.  I'm glad the show is making a big splash but disappointed to see dozens of bigoted remarks about Amy under each one.

That sucks. Amy is the most "normal" of the 3 superchamps, with no annoying mannerisms.  I hope her continued success helps more people to accept other transgendered people

came across an article about Sears the other day and noticed that the way they present the name in their logo went from "Sears" to "SEARS" in 1984 back to "Sears" in 2004 and then to "sears" in 2010.  I'm sure there are many other similar examples.

Narrator: it did not help them

I didn't recognize Sabena and had no idea Magritte was Belgian. My wild and deranged guess was Chagall.

I knew Sabena was Belgian,  but didn't know that Magritte was too. Couldn't think of a specifically Belgian artist to save my life
