I normally don't pay much attention to play by play announcers, but Jack Collinsworth's voice truly sounds like nails on a chalkboard. How did he manage to get the the premier job of NBC's Notre Dame coverage?

    Oh, never mind.

Same reason Iowa's OC still has a job despite our offense being a straight up dumpster fire.

When is Nurie due? Isn’t Kaylee’s wedding November 5? This could be quite the dilemma for BME. Fundie moms seem to have no issue traveling with a newborn so I imagine Nurthan will be at the wedding.

I have no doubt that Nurie is expected to show up.

Nemo is tiny, look at those limbs. Also needs a diaper change.

I said this a year or so ago, and I still feel the same way today:  The very best scenario for all of the Rod boys is to get factory jobs that offer job stability, a decent salary and good benefits.  I personally know several pastors who also have full-time factory jobs.  Do the Rod kids think they’re too good to work in a factory?

Tim owned a business. If he had wanted he probably could have ran that with his brothers and made some decent money. But noooooo he had to go and sell it to partly finance a pipe dream. They don't want to work. They want to play pastor, or be a missionary to a country that's already predominantly religious, or piloting a plane for Jesus. Plus beg for money, just like Mahmo thought them, it's the only thing she thought them well.

  4. Is it weird that I'm relieved he's retiring? I've been so worried that he would do permanent damage to his body by trying to fight all those injuries he had the last few years.

Good luck with whatever your next venture will be and thanks for the memories.

I have visions of Tim and his missionary buddy force landing in a remote jungle. It's an episode of Naked and Afraid I'd watch. At least Tim's used to doing without food.

Whose burden will be realized--Phillip missioning in Hungary or Tim bush piloting in Africa? Stay tuned for a long, long time to find out.

I keep imagining Book of Mormon like scenarios.

A fifteen-dollar swing is probably pretty flimsy. Get ready for Jill to come crashing down and being SEVERELY injured.

Get ready to have that other knee SEVERELY injured.

Also in the school book video Hunky hubby in the background laying in his recliner staring at the map.

Clock in the background shows 10:30 and it looks dark outside.

It's September, lots of football to be watched on the map.

Washington St upsets Wisconsin as well - Wisconsin seems to have slipped in the past couple of seasons, their offense is just weak.

At least they have an offense /sad Iowa fan noises.
