I don’t think Lindsay is stable enough to marry anyone until she has therapy or an epiphany.

She's apparently in therapy! So... she needs a different therapist! Or a big wake-up call! I don't know what could make her see herself as not perfect. Her lack of self-awareness is immense!

It's so wild that they were talking about having kids when they were this bad! Ahh!

  2. I can't understand how Lindsay would still want to marry Carl anyway. She seems to hate him! They obviously are an awful couple and it's crazy that they got so close to getting married in the first place!

I think there are many guys that don’t know that.

Really? not know Penne pasta? I think that's pretty basic on many restaurant menus. And I could totally see after mothering Schwartz for so long, Katie wanting to date men who are more worldly.

Meanwhile, I've with Ariana. I can't LOOK at Sandoval's face without cringing. His constant whining about how he didn't do anything maliciously. NO RESPONSIBILITY EVER. Don't want to see him jumping off boats and having fun. Bleh.

I also have a hard time believing that a girl as gorgeous as Ciara is going to walk around with that dude on her arm?

Ciara going crazy about Austen makes me think she should try an actual nice guy like West (I know he could still disappoint us, but he really seems genuinely nice). Also I think he's exactly my type! (except for that mustache, but he makes it work with his good personality)

Such classic Lindsay behavior on full display.  She's such a loathsome human being.  I don't even know how a person that toxic would go about working on themselves.  She seems incapable of any self-reflection or accountability.

YES. How could she think we'd watch this season and like "she's right, Carl totally blind sided her." crazy

  5. West is a perfect addition! I want this show to be light and fun, so I wish Amanda and Kyle would chill out. Kyle is in his 40s - he's got to grow up or admit he will never grow up. But I am here for watching Lindsay sabotage herself.

  6. I think sadly MJ voted for Phaedra. They cut the episode when they did because they want to prolong Phaedra on the show for as long as possible. And I'm going to really HATE seeing how smug Peter is if that happens.

It seems that divorce is a much bigger violation of church doctrine than drinking/selling tequila and wearing strapless dresses to church

I have Mormon in-laws and I was very surprised to find out that divorce is not uncommon among practicing LDS folks. It's not that there's no stigma to it, but you can definitely still be a part of the church and the community post-divorce. But there's a LOT of pressure to remarry to someone within the Church asap.

Heather went through a whole big awakening. She doesn't want to be part of the Church anymore but it's natural to miss belonging to something that was a BIG part of her whole identity and life. And it sounds like she has dealt with friends abandoning her and shunning her children.

  8. I feel very sad for all of them because it just seems like an emotionally fraught situation, but I feel especially for sweet Isaac who I'm sure will get a lot of responsibility of childcare. I also really really hope she gets on birth control after this!

  9. I think her discomfort comes from them misbehaving while filming and her stress over how she comes across. She is very very worried about being on the show and she comes off as awkward/thirsty because of it. She's playing "Housewife" and that's part of why Pavit's always like "what are you doing?' in all their scenes. I kinda think she might be a totally normal and fine mom when not filming.

My cousin dated a Jewish girl from Laramie Wyoming, she attended a synagogue so there must have been other Jews there as well, she also told me when you ride your horse to school the school takes care of the horse throughout the day which I was fascintated about that fact!

I'm surprised to hear that! My husband is from Wyoming and I feel like his family has never met anyone Jewish before me...

Oy! Ori! He's so so cringy! I'm only two episodes in and I want to fast forward him. I hope he gets humbled big time. But he probably won't!

This is a really lame thing to say, but I'm really surprised David is single! Why he hasn't been matched up by people at his synagogue or in his Sephardic club? He seems like a catch that everyone in those circles would be after (or at least every mom would be trying to set-up with their daughter).

Harmonie is really hard to watch too.

  11. As someone who was obsessed with Sweeney Todd as teen, I LOVED the orphan number. I watched it twice haha! The big ole smiles on the kids' face throughout is what put it over the top for me. (And yes, it's dark but it went so silly that it made it okay for me. Also I am sure that no kids will be eaten on the show!)

Plus Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth singing together always makes me think of when they did the TV-version of Annie and were so delightful singing Easy Street!

  12. Again, I really don't see why they should be fired. And I bet they won't be! I would never want to hang out with them or for anyone I know to date them but they will make for great tv! Infidelity is what built VPR!

  13. Thinking about this week's ep, I was reminded that Raquel isn't the only one of them who changed their name to seem more "interesting". Raquel was Rachel. Lala was Lauren. Jax was Jason. Stassi was once called Stacey (I think her given name is Nastassia. These are all ambitious and attention-hungry people, just Raquel is weirdly awkward about it.

That entire scene, with all of the cast members and the theme song playing in the background, was reality TV gold.

I remember thinking: they should just end the show with this scene, it's never going to be any better. But now I'm so glad they didn't!

  15. Yeah, the whole not calling the police just doesn't make sense. It doesn't! Like sure, even if Marianne thinks he will keep coming after her, why not deal with that AFTER she's out. If her priority is truly getting back to her daughter, get OUT. Why does Nadia listen? I know, it's just a show and I expect a certain amount of fantasy-logic, but why not show Nadia call the police and not being listened to or something? Why doesn't Nadia RECORD any of it on her phone? It's just too too illogical.
