  1. I'm recalling a photo I saw of Amy walking away with 2 or 3 other DCC'S. Shed did not look good directly next to them. It was so obvious that I was (and still am)surprised they'll give her a pass. That white diaper is unforgiving. IMO it's unfair they keep her for a body that doesn't look good wearing it, yet weight warn so many others.
  2. So....those who decide on who actually make the DCC will tolerate a heavier build if the face is beautiful. Clearly less dance skill is a no-no vs the beautiful face pass (the one who remains nameless, with Google warning). Beautiful face surpasses heavier weight but not less dance skill. What if you never actually see the face...just the bigger build as in from behind?
  3. So I'm finally getting around to looking at some of the DCC twitter photos. I'm looking at the singer Musgraves while she's dancing. There is a shot of Amy in the background(full body). I'm just going to say it...she looks BIG. She always looks bottom heavy. It's not the pose, it's not 'cause she's standing by thinner women...she photographs BIG. I've seen her twice on the field (in person) & she was big then as well. Why are they keeping her? I am confused by this. Clearly they are making an exception with her. I don't see how they can turn other fuller figured women away all while keeping Amy. Someone please explain this to me.
  4. Sorry but the vast majority of these outfits look like shee-at! Waaay too matronly, Mrs. Roper indeed. I'm 52 & definitely NOT rockin a muumuu. Sorry to those I've offended. I do love me some brights & prints (Yes Lilly P)but this Belk stuff is just ... fugly.
  5. I'm going shortly to watch some competitive ballroom at BYU and believe u our me...I'll be asking the tough journalistic questions -lol. My active "MO" friends (yes, I have some)have tried to explain to me certain hypocrisy within their religious world...i.e.why can golfers or athletes play money paying sports when the masses (of Mormons)are told to rest cause it's Sunday? Why can a cheerleader expose her legs or upper breasts (our fav DCC uniform)while the average MO wears shorts to the knees &/or cap sleeves to hide their religious undergarments? See, my serious mind NEEDS to know these burning questions. None of their explanations seem to suffice me which might explain why I'm agnostic when it comes to my own faith but hey...live & let live, right. I personally knowTobey's Mom's (kids in dance together)& heard about Curly Courtney thru these same sources. I WILL get the dish on Tasha. I believe the average Mormon will love Madeline since she's a young, not married, hard working kid who pays her own way with little parental help (& minus the friends fundraiser last year. Puke) You crack me up regarding Holly's appearance. She looks40ish to me as well. Actually she's good for my overall sense of self esteem. I might no longer have the rock-hard abs. I daresay my hair is waaay more modern & youthful than hers (& given what time & $ is spent...this is a lil sad).
  6. Disregard quote. No idea why it appeared. Tasha - I spent some rime creepin thru her Facebook, scaring myself actually. Ok, I'll fess up that I'm middled-aged (52) yrs young, former dancer. When I was Tasha's age, there is NO WAY I would have been so incredibly "self absorbed ". The constant STAGED photos of her, her with hubby, her with 6 yrs old daughter are.....are....GROSS. I'm sorry but, enough is enough. Life is not about taking 24/7 pics of oneself let alone exposing your daughter to your clearly, obsessive, self love of your own appearance. Tasha comes across as shallow, not serious, & seriously weird (imo). At her age, I'd finished college & was on my1st "adult" job. Why are the moving around to try out for a cheerleading opportunity with 6 yrs old in tow? A man moving to another state for frickin cheerleading? This is a married Mom disguised as an attention seeking, desperately needing to grow up, Barbie wanna-be. Yes, I'm completely turned off and NO, I don't want her to make the team. I prefer my DCC less contrived, so blatantly opportunistic & dare-I-say fake/phoney? NOOOOO! IGNORE THIS QUOTE! Yes, I realize that 52 is perceived OLD (by some) & I'm from another generation, but obnoxious behavior &/or attitude translates regardless of age. I also know people make money from social media, as my 24 yrs old son does. He races cars & has sponsorships from race suits to oil to spare parts & anything in between. I was born & am living in Utah. Tasha is an oddity for her faith which I'm very familiar with. Her hubs was recently baptized into her church. I'm particularly interested in the 6 yrs old daughter. Mormons are notorious for being conservative. No, their divorce rates aren't higher than the national average but they do often marry & have kids quite young...putting strain on new marriage. Tasha is unusual in that she is married with a young child, moving the 3 to try out as a DCC. For a Mormon, this would not be looked at positively. I can't imagine what her fellow church-goers think of those photos. There is a HUGE difference between a Utah Mormon vs a Mormon in any other part of the world. Here they tend to be insular, highly judgmental & often intolerant. Growing up in Utah & not being part of this faith, ain't easy. I'm going to watch some ballroom dancing tonight & plan to ask around (re:Tasha). Our dance community is successful (Dancing with Stars, ballroom)& everybody knows everybody. I'll do some digging & pass on the juicy bits to our group. Regarding Holly P. I saw the DCC twice early last season before her weight was under control. At the time she looked big, but so did Amy and Melissa..obviously big. I love her dancing. I think she photographs terribly. It has nothing to do with the lousy cameos. She has no neck & usually appears disjointed. Holly needs to stop mugging for the camera. She doesn't look sexy. She looks ridiculous yet does it every time the lens aims her way. Count the number of times she purses or duck lips. Having seen her up close, I think she's believing her own hype a wee bit much. The DCC are the classic, beautiful, effortless kind of sexy. I also love Melissa's dancing. Her body = No. Amy I don't understand. She looks positively huge standing next to any of the other women. What's with her flat hair. Even that looks like crap too. OK ~ I'm taking my PERFECT self to the post office. Feel free to explain to me why I'm wrong & such a confused hater.

  8. Disregard the quote above. Who the h*ll knows why it won't disappear?! The fascination with red hair did NOT work out last season. Uneven, fading colors...but the overall hair styles...nothing too exciting or even modern. There is a full body shot (cameo) from each of the 4 newly selected group leaders. Just to remind ourselves how poor the photography & overall styling was on cameo day. Look at Danielle who WE KNOW has beautiful hair...with that odd chunk of hair literally sticking out. I really, really HOPE they photograph these women to be as gorgeous as they really are. Last time, it was just ridiculous.
  9. OK - I'm catching up on everything after a long weekend break. What the hell (yes, HELL) is going on with those swimsuit photos for the cover? Wow, it's like the crummy cameos all over again. This bunch was the BEST ? Jeez, what were the worst like? On the whole; awkward poses, strange expressions, (constipated = HA, HA, HA, exactly!) basically a real disappointment. These women are beautiful yet they look positively basic...ya know, nice looking but nothing to get too excited about. Clearly the Cowboys organization is using photographers on the cheap these days. What else explains these low-budget pics. My favs? How about none!?!
  10. They simply don't want to & often don't have to. I'm not lawsuit happy but sometimes it takes a good suit to get some "fairness". These women cannot live off their DCC salary yet are expected to give inordinate amounts of time back...games, practice , charities, etc. I personally think the NFL should pay them for their time, period. They are trained athletes, They add to the overall experience at a game. Pay them. Let's ask ourselves this (yes, I do SUPPORT women over men in my contracting biz cause I KNOW how difficult it is in this field)-If it were men out on the field dancing...36 to 38 men, for an entire game, would they be fairly paid? So excited for the start of camp!
  11. Mmmm...I can totally see Kelli, Judy & the powers that be getting behind an idea like this. It also happened with Courtney Cook, from my home state of Utah. The reality show connection is their bread & butter. It has little to do with "respect" because every gal knows she's going to be filmed. It's one major reason they are auditioning. I can totally see this; "I'm retiring after 2 seasons." "Ok, would you like to help us out with a storyline...ya know, something to help the show? Maybe we can have you come down with ailment, a family emergency or how about a huge career advancement" (yeah, less likely on the career front-lmfao)still... Let's remember one thing here; we are watching a reality show. No other NFL cheerleaders have one & they want to keep this one. That gives more input to the producers who don't want to see the same old, same old, year after year. Regarding the locker room conundrum. Yes, they can easily afford these women. They just dont want to since they've never had to. Think how much they make off the sales of their swimsuit calendar alone? The T & A aspect can get gross. Seeing them this past season from the touchdown decks was borderline icky. It's a strange closeness to a jeering crowd. I enjoy watching them but make no mistake at how much they are selling sex. From the close-up booby blouse-tying shot in the opening promo...these women KNOW what their purpose is...to sell the Cowboys via their sex appeal. Sorry if I sounded prude-ish. I like sex as much as the next person but can definitely get turned off on some DCC situations...i.e. the calendar shoot bikini fashion shows; often with bottoms up their butt cracks while wearing thigh-hi boots. Really close to that stripper line - IMO.
  12. I believe it! I NEVER will think Jasmine was kicked off for that ridiculous solo. No way would she perform something so DUMB after all those seasons on Flight Crew & DCC. No - she was never going to be the greatest dancer but she certainly was good enough, was beautiful AND a minority with no weight issues. I think she planned on leaving & agreed to this set-up for some typical reality show drama. Even I could muster up a tear or 2 (hey, Danielle)if my bestie was leaving for greener pastures. Hell, it's not like these ladies are Meryl Streep or something...just look/act sad & "snivel" around for the cameras. Nope - Jasmine never intended to return to Dallas. It was a perfect way to add drama to DCCMTT 'cause Jasmine was moving anyway. No harm, no foul & added entertainment value.
  13. I I'm believing our "insider" to be 2 different people. Go back & read the initial post. There is a "yall" every paragraph or more. The 2nd writer has a better grasp of writing & isn't dropping southern slang thru-out. IMO - This is a forum for a reality show. The women who are in TC are constantly judged, ridiculed, shamed, weighed by other women. They do this because they want to. I want to talk about this show with other like-interested individuals. I write about Holly's " no neck & crappy photos" as well as my pride at seeing "Caila in the dance studio, improving leaps & bounds". I along with many others discuss DCC'S looks as well as overall dancing ability. I was a dancer back in the day. I live vicariously thru this show & enjoy seeing TC members improve "Hello Madeline". Considering the nature of the swimsuit calendar not to mention the swimsuit runway walk..how can anyone young woman be bothered by this forum? They really need to realize & wake-up to what the Cowboys organization is doing for them. It's purpose is to flaunt major T & A for men to enjoy, while at a game. Interesting catfish indeedy.
  14. My dislike of Shelbi began during the last audition cycle of TC. I give many of the "criers" a break since I was also (&still am actually )a weeper. I'm emotional. ..always have been. If I had flown to Dallas at the tender age of 18 (Holly @ aged 18 lives with her Mom who moved to Dallas with her. Kinda wondering if these young ladies might now move out & get an actual apartment together?)I'd have been a terrified, crying, insecure mess. I don't think that makes them manipulative but I do understand why some dislike or are uncomfortable with it. I look at it like this; instead of moving away for college, they're moving away for a possible 3-month dance interview. The out-of-state or country women are basically alone. If you come from a family with limited means....well, you get my point. I recall seasons past when Danielle & Carisa struggled financially among several others. My point with Shelbi might sound petty but she is spoiled. Now, I have an adult son who we jokingly call the "Prince" - he's my only child & not exactly suffering in his life...its normal to want to give kids as much as possible yet still allow them to actually grow into independent adults. Shelbi's past social media has been whiney & uber-spoiled = waaaa, I got ink on my Louis Vuitton & now I'm down to just 2 "good" LV'S. I sh*t you not, she wrote this. Another instance she was moving in with obnoxious bf & showed pics of granite counters, flooring etc then complained about it to her Mom. I have yet to deduce either of these 2 as paying rent on their own. They sound too pretentious to be earning this themselves. If I'm wrong, I will stand corrected. In the meantime I'm not totally surprised to see this implosion on behalf of Shelbi's bf or family.
  15. The only thing "Miss Shelbi's Doll" said which made sense to me was the part about spending money on your solo costume. I absolutely noticed a few ladies ( hi, Madeline)clearly do NOT have the funds (or wealthy parents like Shelbi)who can stream endless dollars into trying out repeatedly. Their costumes appear downright plain next to some of the blinded out versions. That does have to be hard for a younger woman yet rewarding when you make TC on what actually matters = your merit, your TALENT. That combined with work ethic beats what parents try to do for a less hard-working or less-talented adult-child (who also sounds super entitled with an even more obnoxious bf).
