  1. I also find it really strange how asexual and/or platonic many of these people and couples have been... particularly on the guys sides. Calvin, Connor, Jeremiah, now Caleb too...all surprisingly prude for young contestants going on a televised dating show. The Calvin not even wanting to kiss Moira thing is particularly weird to me, like what's the big deal dude?? And Conor all giggly and infantile when a girl that he's ostensibly been attracted to wants to blow him? Bizarre. Maybe it's an editing issue at times. Like how we go from Kierstan and Carr seemingly happy in the shower to the next scene basically breaking up. With no real explanation from a Carrington talking head. As for Lauren objectively I'd agree she's the most attractive woman in the house, not sure who else comes close (maybe Kierstan but her body is admittedly artificial). The men being attracted to Lauren for her h-to-w ratio, amongst other qualities, is not sexist lol. Just like a woman being attracted to a guy's broad shoulders, sense of humor, or yes even their wealth is not sexist. It's just gender-specific measures of sexual market value that have literally been desirable for most of homo sapiens' existence. You can thank these powerful forces of sexual selection for human traits like intelligence, creativity, and, badonkadonks. Would love to see them send Mac and Connor home for being the worst, but I doubt they will.
  2. Excellent finale. Steve Schmidt was on fire. Always love Van Jones, and I'd never heard from the chess master or the history professor before but they were also interesting. Swaldwells's got a bright future, but he's probably too green to make a strong run in 2020
  3. In the past I remember Jonah Hill doing a much better job hosting than he did this time around. He's definitely a funny guy (ex. his turn in the James Franco roast), but the material wasn't great and like others have noted he seemed unengaged or uninterested in being there at all. The whole 5-timer bit seemed awkward and unrehearsed. Also I was surprised he didn't mention his (and Emma Stone's) new show out on Nextflix, Maniac. It's pretty great. The 6 year old sketch is a character I do enjoy, but damn Lesley ruins just about every sketch she's in IMO. I can't stand her constantly cracking up, the flubbed lines, the awkward deliveries. Of all the talented actors/comedians out there how is it that she is even on the cast, let alone plays such a prominent role on SNL? Really don't see her appeal at all. Regarding Pete, I think he's pretty damn funny and I usually enjoy his meta-commentary on WU. This time around wasn't his best though and I too was hoping he'd have more to say than just making fun of those politician's looks. Meanwhile Villasenor's L+O bit was tremendous, she absolutely nailed it. Agreed that that was a coming out moment for her- hopefully we'll see more of her instead of all Kate all the time (or aghh Leslie).
  4. Johnny still wins the season in my eyes for hooking up with both the brits. They're hot as hell! Especialy Kailey. Speaking of which, even after 2 more hours of reunion, I'm still not clear on why the 4 ratchet girls ganged up on her so visciously. Maybe just jealous of the attention this stunning rookie was getting over them? It was poorly edited on the show and given short shrift on the reunion too.
