    This made me really laugh out loud and it's just so true. You have captured the essence of Yo.

    I think it's obvious why she was cast.  Beautiful home, pretty famous husband, gorgeous children willing to be on camera, fabulous clothes, lots of travel, and a stunning woman. 

     

    Why is she on anymore? 

     

    The divorce, Yo facing a downgrade, which these shows LOVE,  and the now famous daughter.  Gigi's everywhere, every magazine I pick up, or any gossip show I accidentally catch?  She's there.

     

    ETA (also the connection with Lisa through her ex husband.)

    But we are not seeing any of this. We are just seeing Sick Yolanda. What a letdown.

    Sometimes, I think there are two Yolandas.  There is the strong model Yolanda, who is capable of landing a rich man like Mohamed, who can steer her children away from their chosen pursuits and into the future that she sees for them.  She can land David Foster, then divorce him because he won't play her grade school game of "Let's Pretend We're In Love."  Yolanda can get herself onto a hit TV show and use her presence entirely for her own designs.  The list goes on and on and on.

     

    On the other hand, Yolanda is the lonely, ignored wife whose husband is too busy with his career to focus on hers.  She has to drink a cleanse every week to ward something out of her system.   She is a poor little Dutch girl who grew up on a farm, whose father died when she was young.  She has something wrong with her, which causes her to comb the earth in search of a cure, and her husband is a brute for not going along on each trip.  She's sad, pathetic, and happy to show you how sad and pathetic she looks in thousands of pictures. 

     

    There really is a third Yolanda  -- the vain ex-model.  She certainly sees herself as the beautiful mother or three beautiful children, and all of them can become more beautiful through surgery.  Even at her age, she is delighted to be wanted.  She has cameras, videocams and even studio cams trained on her to show the world how lovely she still is -- AND as a gentle reminder to her children that Mommy's still got "it."  She is still the queen of the family models and proudly signs her name with only the HADID readable.

     

    Yolanda is a goldmine of contradictions, but which one is the real Yolanda?  It's too easy to say that they're all facets of the same personality because we've witnessed her strategizing.  Parts of her aren't real.  Some are lies.  I don't think she's schizophrenic, merely scheming, but I'd love to separate the schemes and find the core. 

     

    Will the real Yolanda please step forward?

    Lisa did say she apologized.  And I agree with Lisa by the time Eileen addressed Lisa and the way she addressed Lisa's comments, it would be pretty hard to gauge how serious her hurt is/was.

     

    Oh I saw that-it is not a story.  It is just some one making a guess.  If there were gambling losses people within that community would be commenting on them and not just some comment on a blog from a poster.  One thing most gamblers learn early on is you have to cover your bets.  Vince is second generation so I am thinking he is almost sixty and has not seemed to suffer from gambling.  Eileen says their marriage is good and they seem to be devoted to each other.  I will say I prefer the Van Pattens' relationship to Yolanda and David and all the love, love, king stuff.  I guess we saw the real side of David with the tits comment.  No wonder he doesn't write song lyrics."

    This brings to mind the dinner party with BabyFace and David entertaining  by improvising songs. He began with "I hate my wife.." And Yolanda tried to cover it up by saying loudly "I love my life:"

    She has the best ponytail.  Better than Kyle, Erika or Bethenny, who tried to trademark hers.  Yolanda's medicine vault episode is the first time I noticed it.  Perfectly casual, perfect sideswept bangs, the perfect amount of tendrils, the perfect little bump at the crown.  It's all about the bump.  It's got to be practically imperceptible but it's got to do it's job.  And hers is and does.

    I cannot like this enough. There is not enough like in this world for me to like this enough.

    Someone on another site posted this link to a 2012 article about Yolanda where she talks about what happened when Anwar was born. Sorry if it has already been posted here. I thought it was interesting. A lot of what she claimed about that situation also doesn't make sense or seems exaggerated to me.

    Is she for real? I have heard of women breaking a tailbone during childbirth but this is beyond. I will never believe another word that comes out of this woman's mouth again. I wish she would just go back to bed and stay there.

    I honestly don't think she wants to learn from him or from anyone.  She wants to be the only one who knows anything of value, and she wants the world to listen to her lecture about every subject that she's an expert on.  Which is apparently every subject.  In earlier seasons, she was a huge know-it-all about  pretty much everything, and she hasn't changed.  No one else's opinion or knowledge seems valid to her.  

     

    I'm also sure she doesn't want to feel better or recover until she tires of this, or has something to replace it.  She's much too comfortable portraying herself as a valiant victim to let it go just yet.  No doubt a good conversation with Tom Seaver would be a great thing for her.  I just don't believe that she would be open to it.

    I believe she inserted Hadid right BEFORE she announced she and David were separated/divorcing. IMO, she did so to remind everyone that SHE is Gigi's MOMMY! LOL 

    This is exactly what I had suspected. Fame by association. That is too weird for me. I have been remarried for a long time now and cannot imagine suddenly inserting my ex husband's name into my name. Unless I had always used those names together, but suddenly changing them to include my ex's name? Um nope.

    Question:  On Yolanda's twitter and Instagram, she posts her name as Yolanda Hadid Foster. Did she always include the "Hadid" in her name or is this something that changed within the past year? Can anyone find this out for me? I am very curious because if she was just Yolanda Foster and then began to insert the "Hadid" into her name, that is very suspicious to me. I would really wonder what the motive was.

    I could be wrong, maybe she always referred to herself as Yolanda Hadid Foster, but I would like to know.

    Latest news is that Yolanda cleaned out her closets for the new year, purging anything she hasn't worn for at least a year and kindly admonishing that we "probably" should do the same. Oh, and she's so excited for a new year and 366 new chances ... to pose with her bins of giveaway clothing, her meds, her lemons, and otherwise show us how awesome her life is, despite being totally sick all the time and having only 70% brain function.

    That's the photo I was referring to.  It's just all kinds of wrong.  What was she thinking?  What was the point of posing like this?  (I'm asking - I really don't know!)

     

    I'm surprised that no one in her inner circle has advised her to stop doing nonsensical things like this.  Although I guess we've seen enough of her to know that she believes she always knows best and that she is the final authority.  On everything.   Hence the constant judgments and imperialistic attitude.   I'm sure they all know that they can't tell her anything - She thinks the way she wants to think and she does what she wants to do.  I just can't see her giving any kind of weight to anyone else's thoughts or opinions.  We've certainly never seen her open to what anyone else has to say.  She always knows best.  Case closed.  Even when she knows she's brain dead, apparently.

     

    I also suspect that the person in the best position to advise her would be her "Health Advocate", but it seems pretty obvious that the woman is just there to coddle and enable.  Saying  "Yes, Yolanda", "No, Yolanda", and making soothing noises is probably pretty much the extent of her duties.  Other than stocking the meds closet, keeping her iPad charged, and fetching almonds & things.  Nice, cushy job.  I'm pretty sure that Daisy (is that her name?) is literally laughing all the way to the bank.

     

    And I keep thinking that if this was one of the other HW's on this "journey" Yolanda would be scoffing at them, and touting her own healthy habits as a way it could have been prevented.  She'd probably accuse them of bringing it on themselves, malingering, and not being as tough as she is.  And certainly she'd have something to say about all the photos on social media and desperate bids for attention.

     

    That photo, though, is really disturbing.  Who poses like that?  And for what purpose?  It's far worse, IMO, than any of the other ridiculous photos she's posted because it just seems so bizarre.

    Yes, she really is very disturbing. I totally agree with your statement that she is always right. She is definitely not interested in anyone else's point of view and she doesn't care to ask her friends about what is going on with them or their lives. Everything has to revolve around her and her health issues.

    She did not like it when Kyle told her that she looked good, had to respond with her comment, (paraphrasing) "just because I look good doesn't mean I'm not sick".

    What in the hell? The proper response would have been a simple "thank you".  And she also took exception to Kyle's example of how she had suffered depression when her mom was passing away. That meant nothing to Yolanda. She had to throw out the comment about nothing being compared to Lyme. What that meant was "nothing compares to me and my suffering".

    Yolanda cares nothing about anyone or anything except Yolanda, and she even uses her children and mother ( and David before he jumped ship) to try and project her martyr image.

    I truly believe that blind gossip item about her wanting to start her own reality show.

    What exactly is Yolanda doing to bring awareness to Lyme Disease? Other than to complain about being sick all the time and posting photos of her having different treatments?

    Is she talking about treatments that are known to be effective?

    Is she listing symptons so that people may recognize Lyme?

    All i hear is that she gets colonics weekly, that horseflies can cause Lyme and that she has had the metals and leaking breast implants removed.

    I could be wrong here but I don't understand how she is helping others?

    I suppose she could say that she is helping others by shaming the doubters, but I really don't think people are doubting her diagnosis so much as the way she is presenting herself and her treatments.

    My apologies in advance if I have offended anyone, I would love feedback from people in the know.

    Wow, do you all remember that Shannon is the one who was cheated on for 9 months?  As far as I can see, she has never revealed any personal details about this woman, so I have no idea where all the 'Shannon is to blame for EVERYTHING' vitriol. and sympathy for The Affair, is coming from.

     

    I wanted to quote your entire post but thought it may be too much. I do want you to know that I agree with every single word in the rest of this post as well as your other comments included. There is no indication that Shannon disclosed any details at all, and I believe that Tamra and Heather both knew who this woman was.

    This woman was well aware that David was on a reality show. Websites likeTMZ and Radaronline are always looking for stories. People are PAID to report this s#$%.

    Only a fool would take that chance and expect to remain anonymous. This Nicole person chose to throw her marriage, her husband, her children under the bus and obviously didn't consider the impact when it all went south. She and David are equally foolish and responsible for this entire situation.
