If he called her Bernadette the context was most definitely him driving home the point that she's turning into everything Bethenny hates about her mother.
Bethenny gets a high off of possession, something to acquire, a deal, an advantage, to control instead of being controlled. Treating Brynn that way will be something she regrets.
Such succinct summation of Bethenny. There is nothing more emotionally draining than a person like her, who has suffered the most horrendous life that no one could even imagine. For Pete's sake, Bethenny, look at the world around you and try to put things into perspective. I can't say for sure what bullshit that Jason is up to, but he has a good relationship with his parents. Bethenny is not demonstrating a very stable personality. Is there any evidence of her maintaining one single healthy positive relationship in her life?

I have a wall of Christmas tubs. Every December my husband curses me when he has to bring them all from the basement, then down again in January. Takes me 2 days to decorate. No one is allowed to help. They would screw it up. They would definitely put everything in the wrong place and then I would have to wait until they leave to fix it all.

She just doesn't get what it's all about. Divorce sucks. Shared custody sucks. It's not hell. Your child being seriously injured or sick is 'hell'. Being a victim of a heinous crime is 'hell' - whether it be rape or continued domestic abuse and you don't have the resources to get out. I could go on. How about that child who was kept in a closet for years. Or the the kids that were kept in cages. Or let's talk about Elizabeth Smart. Beth thrives on being poor 'Bethenny'. I've never seen a person who is so sorry for herself, from her parents to her ex husband. Yeah, the richest homeless person in NY staying at five star hotels....with a house in the Hamptons. Cry me a river.
Thanks, Breezy. Honestly, when I was going through the shit with my son, I just learned to get through one day at a time. That is when I became somewhat desensitized to chronic complainers. Oh, the bullcrap you overhear in the hospital corridors.
I get that Bethenny was feeling victimized by Jason. An awful situation. When I went through my divorce I experienced something similar, not by my wasbund but by his girlfriend who stalked me online and in real life and made my life (and my kids) very uncomfortable. All ( I believe) because she felt very insecure and wanted me to look like the bad guy when I had left my ex because he was having an affair with her. (Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I was sitting in the corner, eating crackers)
In my opinion, Bethenny exaggerates. Homeless (hotels!!), raised by wolves, bleeding to death, lost at sea, divorce from hell. God help her if she has to go through a life or death situation.

Perfectly decorated for what it was...traditional. Then there was her first house in the Hamptons. Yeah, I could live there. And now there's her second home. It has warmth but is cool at the same time.
On another note, I think some of these new Bravo shows are kind of desperate and trying too hard. Shep is going city to city to find his dream girl? Not interested. Ryan's show could be a little interesting - at least it's more of an interesting concept. The only thing that I would be happy about is if Beth gave up RHNY for her new show. Well, it's not 'her' new show. It's her and Fredrik. At least Bravo has figured out that Bethenny Frankel can't carry a show on her own. Big ouch. But Beth also came back to RHNY which she said she never do. Girl just needs a spotlight any way she can get it.
I wonder if that is why she hasn't been able to sell her place. Apparently the $5.25 price that Bethenny and Fredrik both came up with isn't quite the magic number that they thought it was. It's been reduced to $4.995.

Bethenny is beyond. So she is basically saying she is doomed for life.
Poor little Bryn. She will never be ok.
I went through an entirely rotten divorce, my son being in a terrible car crash, traumatic brain injury and coma (he's ok now) and other shit that life throws at you. I never once decided that I would never would be okay for the rest of my life.

Ok, maybe a little nitpicky here. The flowers that were delivered to Dorinda's home in the Berkshires from Dennis ( ala Vicki from Steve RHOC) were delivered to "Bethany", not Bethenny.
I have a name that could begin with an S or a C. If I were to receive flowers from my husband with my name spelled incorrectly, I would surely be not feeling so special to him.

I haven't read all of the replies so forgive me if this has already been commented on. During the conversation between Ramona and Carole, Ramona reports that some woman says that Tom stuck his tongue down her throat (um, hearsay), then Carole says something like "you mean, Trumplike"?) and Ramona responds as if Trump would never do anything like that because he is a "germaphobe"? Rolls her eyes at that suggestion. Cause, you know, Trump would never so anything like that.
She totally believes this other woman's comments regarding Tom, but completely disregards the fact that Trump may display the same behaviour? What a nut.
Is this the same woman who made it clear that her separation from Mario was completely off limits for discussion?
Luann needs to completely disengage from this jerk, just like Bethenny has.

I would have loved for Carole to ask more questions about Dennis. For instance when is his divorce going to happen? Why is there not much conversation about Dennis? Last season I seem to remember Bethenny saying something about him wanting to marry her? (or maybe I am remembering wrong?) At least it seemed to be a serious thing.
I realize that they are not together now, but when they were filming this season they were a couple.

Ok...I am really throwing myself out there but I would definitely have bid on a night in the Berkshires with Dorinda. Just because I know she would make it nice.
And her home is amazing.
And all the tea that she would spill.

I don't get Ramona. She comments that Lu has her head in the sand about Tom and other women.
It is hard for me to believe that Ramona didn't suspect that Mario had other women on the side and chose to ignore it until she was forced to acknowledge it for whatever reason (he was leaving her?)
I am remembering the woman in Morocco that told Ramona that Mario was cheating. Ramona was so upset with Lu for commenting on it.
Can't she just say to Lu..."Hey, I don't want to see you make the same mistake that I did?"
But then she would have to admit that she let Mario get away with the same behavior.

in The Real Housewives Of New York City
No one can be sure about what is going on between them. We can all speculate. Divorce is ugly and each party wants everyone else to believe that they are so hard done by. Bethenny fans are going to believe her and Bethenny non fans (like me) would prefer to see her ugly side and hope that Jason isn't the monster that she makes him out to be.
I know from experience that people can say, very convincingly, whatever they want in the midst of divorce and people will choose sides accordingly.
I can accept that Beth has her fans. Not going to change their minds. They are not going to change mine.
That's what makes these boards interesting.
