  1. I'm convinced that the Scheana and Adam confrontation scene was fake, but god bless her for trying to liven things up. The detail of the penguin adoption, with the printout about it appearing at the engagement party, was gold (good as gold even)!

I winced when I saw LVP show up in white. I'd avoid wearing a solid white dress to any sort of wedding-related event unless I were the bride.

  2. Did anyone else catch Ariana complaining about "fucking Katie" uninviting James and then totally changing her demeanor when Katie came out to talk to them? Tell us how you really feel, Ariana!

I agree that Katie is often a bully who deserves to be called out more than she usually is, but I'm with her on this one. When James has problems with Lala, Brittany, Kristen, Carter, Jax, and Katie, it makes no sense to invite him on a vacation with all of them. What's going unsaid, of course, is that James would add much-needed conflict to the dynamic. I won't be surprised if the producers find a way to get him there...

  3. Oh my god, that pink shirt on Donna. How? Why?

I know it's been discussed before, but Kelly really, truly is only into her love interests when they're involved with someone else or they're providing some other kind of drama for her, like Colin and his drugs. Girl needs to go to therapy for so many reasons, but the fact that she hates all of her boyfriends is one of them. (I mean, I hate all of her boyfriends too, but she's the one choosing them.)

But why doesn't anyone point out lvp aligns herself with messy individuals to be friends.   Brandi... lisa R... dorit.

Like LVP knows how these women are she's been in the game long enough who she should and should not trust but I'm suppose to be upset when these women turn on her in some form.   Like she needs to learn have a better gut instinct who she associates or maybe these women are her cup of tea just she plays it up for the camera like they aren't because she knows her crazy fans get tight if she isn't friends with someone who is as likeminded as her.   That's another reason why, besides the dog,  she is pushing Dorit away.  Her fans don't dig her and she won't fight her fans because her fans are invested in her those very fans go to her establishments.  If she needs to cut Dorit out her life, then she will. That's why she is calculating in her own right.

Oh, absolutely. This has always been her weakness, right from the start (throw Cedric in there too). She is very calculating and I don't blame the cast for being annoyed about it. But they all fall for her manipulations when they should just ignore them. If she says she doesn't want to talk about the dog stuff, then don't talk about it! Don't play into it, dummies. And Rinna is calculating too, but they all seem to forgive Rinna for it for some reason. I wonder if that'll change.

So LVP won’t be on the whole season?

She stopped filming with most of the cast about a month into filming, but might be in individual scenes or scenes with Camille and Denise? It'll be interesting to see if they take her out of the credits.

  5. Kristen used to have a website called Vegiholic, a vegetarian recipes/lifestyle blog kind of thing. I think her pivot to T-shirts is a better move. I'm glad they're showing us more career stuff for her and Stassi.

  6. Melda seemed happy to see Jennifer's brother when they picked him up from the airport. I think the arrangement is kind of odd myself (and I definitely rolled my eyes at the "old school values" scene with Jennifer, Tre, and Dolores), but I don't see it as the nightmare scenario many are imagining. Maybe Jennifer's brother is just shy? There are plenty of adults who have never been married.

  7. I'm all for firing James (his comments to women are gross), but I did find that whole scene of Katie counseling Raquel on how James treats her a bit rich considering her own husband constantly cheats on her when he drinks and has twice thrown drinks on her, on camera. I also noted the editors' shadiness when Jax was talking to Brittany about James being a cheater. The men on this show are all awful.

She also goes after Brandi disproportionately and personally.  Leanne is plainly fixated on Brandi and envious of her; the husband she didn’t have to continually beg to marry her (hi Vicki G!), the children she’ll never have...

I have seen absolutely no evidence of this on the show. I can believe that LeeAnne is envious of Kameron and D'Andra, with their money and social connections, but when has she ever shown any interest in having children? She also seems to have a happy relationship with Rich, with or without a marriage certificate. I think LeeAnne actually looks down on Brandi because Brandi's trashiness reminds her of her own past, which she's trying to rise above so she can be this fancy, charitable society lady.

Don't they only know Matt because he was dating Kelly? Why would they throw a brunch for him and his secret wife? And why would Dylan and Gina be there? They are barely dating and neither of them live there. It would make more sense for Kelly to be there than them. She is actually the only person that gives a shit about any of this, even if her feelings are that she doesn't like it. And so weird for Matt to be all lovey dovey in front of people he only knows because they are friends with the girl he is kind of dating except not because his secret wife is back for the time being. In real life, this would all be very awkward and Matt and Lauren would have their own apartment and would not be hanging out with his kind of girlfriends friends but not the girlfriend.

He has acted as a lawyer for a few of them at that point, but... yeah, it's still pretty weird.

Noah and Donna's separate realizations that Gina hates Donna and wanted to bust up their relationship...uh duh?  They heard her say as much Christmas/Donna's birthday.  Gina's still no Val, IMO, but she's at least providing some entertainment.  But I've noticed Vanessa Marcil definitely has some dialogue tics, she ends a lot of her lines with "okay."

I liked her a lot on General Hospital in the '90s, but then she returned around 2011 and had so many annoying vocal tics, her character was basically ruined for me. Maybe she started developing them here.

Thank you for the tea!  It is messed up for a private school to remove children for that reason.  I know, I know, they can do what they want, but.

How did that help the children in any way and why did they pay the consequences for their mom?

Good question! It is pretty harsh. The only thing I can figure is that it was a religious school and they didn't appreciate her calling wine "Jesus juice"? I think that's probably why she stopped using that term.

  11. Brandi's children were kicked out of their school after season one, due to her drinking. And part of the reason her husband was so mad at her back then was because he'd heard she went to a male strip club on camera, drunk, and was worried about how it would look to his coworkers. I don't know if Brandi actually has a drinking problem--maybe she really does only drink when she's on camera or out socially these days. But her drinking has already affected her family negatively and if she's worried about it happening again with the adoption, then she should stop doing it in public. And it's on her, not anyone else, to make that decision.

I haven't liked Cary that much in the past, but I've come around to her this season and I felt for her in that restaurant scene! I also really liked her cousin's music, go figure. I don't know what the hell is happening in the preview, with her and Mark naked, though. I might change my opinion back after I see that...

  12. God help me, but I actually thought this one was kind of funny? I liked what Juliette Lewis and Chris Sullivan were doing anyway. Also, I hadn't realized it was only six episodes, but now that I know that and I see that Busy Phillips is in the next one, I suppose I may as well keep watching it.

ETA: Wait, it actually is eight episodes like I thought, per reviews and Wikipedia. Well... I guess I've committed. It seems like they're going through the days of this four-day trip pretty quickly, though...

Also, that Queen Bee apron D'Andra wore reminded me of one of my favorite things about this show.  I love the three little bees that sing "good-bye, good-bye, good-bye" at the end of the closing credits.  Probably just me.

I always get a little upset when my DVR cuts off my recording before the three bees. It is very charming.

Also when D'Andra was doing the photo shoot with her husband , she really looked pretty without all that makeup - she needs to quit with that Kabuki look.

Yes! She looked beautiful. I wish she would quit it with the dark eyes and LeeAnne would quit it with the lip liner.

I do take great offense at what LeeAnne told Rich about Brandi and me being drinking buddies and not trusting someone who drinks. I’m sorry, did IQs just suddenly drop from the last episode? I had one lunch in three months with Brandi…yes…you read that correctly—one lunch! We are NOT drinking buddies and have NEVER been drinking buddies. Neither one of us has time to sit around and drink as we have careers and/or families to attend to! Meanwhile, LeeAnne is sipping a margarita at lunch with Rich as she so pointedly makes this revelation??................................YESSSSSSSS see this is what I posted earlier about LeeAnne talking out both sides of her mouth ***sips cocktail***

They also drank a bunch of of tequila shots together while shopping in Colorado and did beer bongs together at the rodeo, but okay, sure. It was one lunch.

  15. I think what LeeAnne said to Brandi about adopting Bruin to save their marriage hit her hard--because it's true. And even though LeeAnne was using it as an example of an outlandish rumor, I fully expect Brandi to go on the warpath for the rest of the season, as she did when she thought Stephanie had implied something negative about her marriage last season. I don't really like Brandi, but I feel bad for her, because to me she's so clearly the unhappy person she's accusing LeeAnne of being. It can't be easy to be married to a man who leaves you alone with three kids all the time and doesn't seem to really like you. But taking it out on everyone else isn't the answer. Note that she's had a problem with every other person in the cast at some point.

It wasn't Tiffany. It was another lady with long dark hair like D'Andra and LeeAnne. They had a brutal fight. I only remember the lady was super wealthy and got caught spreading rumors about LeeAnne and LeeAnne went ballistic.

Oh, yes, it was Marie indeed. Poor, shell-shocked Marie. LeeAnne does seem like a lot to take, but I do believe she's working on her anger issues. Maybe D'Andra is fed up with her at this point, which is fair, but she should say that and take a true break from her instead of spreading these passive-aggressive rumors.
