Any speculation on what it costs to live in the home they bought? In terms of yearly property taxes and utilities? I'll leave upkeep/repairs off the list because it appears they don't do that.
Property taxes were $8800 in 2023, not high at all for a $2.1MM house.

I am happy for this winner. Thanks for listening, RuPaul. I understand why Nelly didn't win, and this works for me too. Alyssa was already a legend, now she has the crown.
And Soa grabbing Miss Congeniality, that means she banked $60K+. I think that's more than the winner of her season.

It's the final! And there is just one more challenge standing between our 4 remaining Queens and that Global Allstars Crown - not to mention the $200K prize money. They've got to create a music video that will impress Ru and the judges.

Adding this in both the Kody and Christine threads. Heard it on Without a Crystal Ball.
So Kody has filed a counter suit against Christine regarding Truely.
This is about to get uglier.

I'm impressed with Nelly because English is her second language and she is definitely funny.
I thought Vanity Vain and Pythia were both likely final 4 at the beginning of the season. And I'm disappointed neither made it.

If Robyn "always wanted polygamy," why did she initially marry a monogamist and/or at least have a monogamous relationship with him?
My understanding is that Robyn got married because she was pregnant out of wedlock. She married Jessop in June 1999 and gave birth in January. That's uncommon in the AUB and likely the reason that she rewrote history claiming that her ex took her cookie.

Bronwyn was oily again this episode. When she was on the phone with her old man, her face was slick.
She bothers me.

When did realtor.com start sharing the drama behind home sales?
https://www.realtor.com/news/celebrity-real-estate/polyamorous-sister-wives-kody-brown-home-feud/And I didn't know they cut the price by $700K.
Hoping it is okay to share as the address isn't listed.- 8

I just saw the Nelly video live where Nelly shares that she, plus other queens, asked for Kween to be removed from the competition. 😲
And there have been a few random posts that Alyssa stood up for Nelly and it almost became physical. Plus, Soa posted that Nelly shouldn't be sharing anything that wasn't aired.
If this is true, anybody but Kitty or Kween to win is my preference. Heck, I'd take boring Tessa.
If you want to see the clips and get the background, you can watch the latest Bussy Queen video.

Kween was such a bitter betty this episode. She's been my favorite, but now I have changed sides to Nelly or Alyssa.

She had a 2-yr associate'd degree in accounting and would have had to switch jobs every time they moved from state to state and town to town, so I doubt she ever made it up very high up the ladder. But even at the entry level in a government job she would have had better benefits than the rest of the Browns.
According to Janelle's LinkedIn profile which she hasn't updated since they lived in Las Vegas, she has a Bachelor's degree in accounting. She matriculated at the University of Phoenix, which boasts esteemed graduates like Shaquille O'Neal, Mary E Peters, and Christina Brown (host of NBC's Early Today).
Curiously, Janelle did not include any work history from before 2012.
Even more curious, Janelle includes her high school too: Bountiful High School.

Just catching up on this season. Ru's preference for English speaking queens that she has seen before is unmistakeable.
Kween deserves it and is my frontrunner, it has been great to see her improvement since her first season. I hated Kitty in her season and I still find her as unlikeable. And she has the worst runways of the cast.
I prefer both Alyssa and Nellie to Kitty. Both could have one more win than they do.
Tessa, despite the win, is not memorable this season. She's not getting an edit that she'll make it to the final.
So here's hoping Kween takes the crown and if not, Nellie or Alyssa.
Anybody but Kitty. And I think she lost that lip sync.

Why is Bronwyn always so sweaty? Her nose at Wendy's looked greased.
I fast forwarded through all of Meredith's scenes. Why is she still on?

There's a reason why Andy Cohen plans to reboot. Creeps abound on this show and we've reached the point where everyone seems to be unlikeable.

I read the trailer is for the first half of the season. Maybe Garrison's death will be included in the second half of the season.
I just do not want to see Robyn and Kody spending 'married' time together. And did anyone else think Robyn looked uncomfortable on the horse and that the horse looked uncomfortable carrying the weight of Kody and Robyn?

I'm not surprised Alexis is bringing the drama, I think she does so because she may need the Real Housewives income.
-
Her kids are all aging out of child support soon. One has graduated high school and the twins are driving, so over 16.
- If the numbers on her divorce settlement are correct that means over the next 2 years she will lose $6K a month in child support.
- Online I read that in the 2018 divorce settlement Alexis received a house, $250K in cash and Jim is paying her $10K a month in spousal support (plus paying for insurance for the kids). Assuming her alimony is taxable (since 2018), if you take out the income taxes, roughly $2.5K/month and her property taxes--modestly $1.2K/month, that $10K or $120K/year drops to $75K/year.
I'd guess Alexis is looking pretty hard for other sources of support, like the show, or a new husband.
But much like with Shannon, John is maintaining a separate residence, so Alexis should be prepared that he may walk away, even if they are looking at engagement rings.
I haven't seen any of this season, but I expect that Alexis can't be a background player. She has to get the screen time.

Luis seems like a creep to me.Unsure how much of it is true, here's a flavor or what's out in the ether about Luis.
- He said he wore Joe and Tre's father's pajamas for Tre's girls--to make them feel safe
- He is involved in a civil suit for wiretapping and fraud: https://pagesix.com/2024/02/13/entertainment/luis-ruelas-bo-dietl-sued-for-allegedly-hacking-computers-for-abuse-of-rhonj-stars-ex/
- He owes $300K to a vendor that planned a business launch party
- He took out a high interest $1MM private loan on the house (not in Tre's name)
-
With the ex: the 2020 lawsuit (from Boochiedukes on Reddit)
- He sued her claiming that she refused to give him back the engagement ring and other gifts (including a car) after they broke up. According to him, she also stole $250,000.
- She claims that he was emotionally and verbally abusive, extremely controlling and had a drug problem. According to her, the $250,000 and other gifts were given to her without conditions (she presented text messages and a letter from him as proof and the Judge thought her proof was credible).
- She also alleges that he abandoned her in Massachusetts after a big fight, immediately drove home, changed the locks of the house they shared and her office (which was in the guest house), making her have to break into the house to get her clothes.
- She also claims that he changed the passwords to her business website and email accounts which prevented her from being able to work. She says that he was purposely holding the accounts hostage so that she wouldn't have money to support her son and pay her attorneys. The Judge wasn't happy about this and ordered Luis to immediately give her access to these accounts. There's also some stuff about how he contacted her business associates and told them that she was abusive in an effort to smear her reputation and make her lose clients.
In the end, Luis and the ex settled and she agreed to give him back the ring and pay him $20,000.
- The weird beach video with tears, promises he'd changed, and a proposal
- The way he talks to Tre and about others
-
Luis was apparently being sued by other vendors to the tune of $1.6MM
-
Luis' business is being sued for ignoring the DNC registry
That said, Teresa loves him. It doesn't really matter that I find him creepy.

That said, I'm very happy with the winner as Angeria was my favorite and did well all season.
If I judged the season, badges would have gone slightly differently and 2 of the top three would have been swapped out:
E1: Angie, JorgeousE2: Plastique, Gottmik
E3: Angie, Nina
E4: Jorgeous, Plastique
E5: Angie, Vanjie
E6: Angie, Plastique
E7: Angie, Nina
E8: Plastique, Roxxxy
E9: Jorgeous, Roxxxy
E10: Roxxxy, Shannel
E11/12: Jorgeous, Plastique
Top 3 are: Angie 5, Plastique 4, Jorgeous 4 followed by:
Roxxxy 3, Nina 2, Vanjie 1, Shannel 1, Gottmik 1
Angeria wins for consistency over the season but most improved was Vanjie. Plastique is the look queen and the should have learned the lyrics queen. Gottmik is the delusional queen and Jorgeous is the almost baked queen.
Roxxxy gets the best edit queen, Nina and Shannel were the filler queens.
I hate badges to give away and extra badges at the end. Hopefully, it will go away for AS 10.

Well, that was an underwhelming finale on an underwhelming season. Production tried hard to create suspense and drama all season long, but it mostly fell flat.
And the badge doubling vote -- did Nina not understand that she got the votes because nobody thought she would win the talent show?
I love the season winner, but she didn't win the talent show or the last lip sync.
- 2
-
It's the crowning moment of the two-part Grand Finale, and all the Queens hit the stage for an unforgettable Variety Extravaganza; three badges are up for grabs, and a new voting twist could change everything; in the end, only one queen can win. Along the way Kamala Harris stops by to remind us to vote and Kylie Sonique Love is there to present the scepter.

This season has been so ho hum. I just don't care enough to keep watching. I'd like Angeria to win it all, but I have tapped out.
Please, Global Allstars, don't let me down. I want to see Alyssa Edwards and Kween Kong slay. But that cast is deep, so if Athena, Gala, Miranda, Pythia, Soa or Vanity take, that's okay with me. I don't know Tessa or Nehellenia, so I I'm hoping to love them. Really, Kitty is the only one I'm not looking to see more of.
I just want to see great drag without the gimmicks of plungers, scissors, beavers or chocolate bars.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: Fierceness Across the Pond

I love UK. And this season is my favorite since season 2. The queens are talented and there isn't a lot of drama.
I'm going to predict now--UK twinners Kyron and La Voix. And I won't mind at all. Releasa, Marmalade and Lill will be back for Allstars.
