I think Amy popping up is foreshadowing Pope's arrest and/or downfall. If you recall, he confessed to her that he killed Catherine. He didn't mention her by name but he described how he killed her. It's why they broke up. And now we've got this cold-case cop investigating Catherine's death.

It wasn't until this episode that I realized that Amy is played by the same gal who plays Teeter on Yellowstone. I didn't recognize her from Animal Kingdom when she started on Yellowstone either. I really liked this show but this season is starting to squick me out with the Smurf scenes. It's starting to give off incestuous vibes and that literally turns my stomach. I may have to just fast forward thru those scenes or at least mute it and use captions. Every time she says baby to Pope I about throw up.

Oof, that was awful. Easily the worst episode of the series so far. The "dying/dream sequence" has been done better so many times on other shows.

AMEN to that. I never want to see that again.

  3. I watched the original show religiously every week. I LOVED it! While I also watched Dallas, Knots Landing and Falcon Crest, Dynasty was my favorite.

I guess that I just gave it away that I'm an older gal (60) didn't I?

The documentary was devastating. How can they keep her on the show when she is living off the blood of burn victims.

THIS, I have a major issue with this being allowed to continue. My reason is right below the next quote.

Teresa insisted she didn't know what Joe was up to but she still served time. Difference between her and Erika is that Teresa is an idiot. Erika is not.  She is all kinds of reprehensible things, but the woman is not stupid.

Whatever Teresa did and Joe for that matter was more of a civil crime so I didn't have an issue with them staying on the show. Erica (she knew exactly what was going on) and Tom on the other hand have hurt many, many people who have already been hurt both physically and emotionally. I'm sorry Bravo, you do NOT get a pass to continue to have her on the show.

To be honest I jumped ship the season after LVP left because I hate Kyle and Rinna with the fire of a thousand suns. I basically just keep up here.

Drat,  I was about to order me one to get the groceries from the driveway to my front door.  I think I will reconsider.

I actually just bought myself one of those carts for that very reason. I am in desperate need of a hip replacement and making a bunch of trips to unload groceries etc was killing me. Best purchase I've made in a while so I'd say go for it.

  6. Amber STFU and go crawl back on your couch. Dr. Drew is a ridiculous enabler with Amber and her bullshit. She's a shitty mom and a lousy human being in general. I'm sick of hearing her whine about her mental health issues. You've been living in counseling for years now, stop using it as an excuse for neglecting your child. Cheyenne still zzzzzzzzzzzzz for me.

  7. Am I the only one who fast forwards through the two non OG cast members? I truly do not care about those people. Cheyenne is exhausting and MacKenzie is boring AF. Boo hoo Amber, you reap what you sow. I am with Leah here.

  8. Big props to her brother for calling her out for basically being a sloth and a absent parent to Leah for most of her life. Also, I think that Gary is a bigger person than I would be at this point. There's no way I'd encourage Leah to spend time with Amber especially when Leah has made it clear it's a hard no right now.

  9. LOVED all of it!! First of all, who ever planned and executed this plan made a HUGE tactical error in not taking out Rip first. Beth is one of my favorites as well. I don't think that we're meant to like these characters as people personally. Yes they're terrible but they're interesting as all get out to me and I don't want them to change. I am also vehemently opposed to TPTB going in there next season and and making the show all PC to satisfy the people complaining about whatever they find "offensive". Also, I DON'T want to see so much as a mention of Covid. I watch this show to escape from all of the crap going on in the real world at the moment. No one started out saying that this show was supposed to be anymore than great storytelling and I for one am thankful for the break from RL.

......did we know that Teeter is the real life daughter of Michael Landon?

I did but only because I saw an article about the women joining the show right before the season started. She's beautiful. Also, I'm a little disappointed that they only went with a regular sized episode for the season finale. Especially now because COVID probably pushed back the start date for season four filming and thus the release date of season four to us.

I have a massive crush on Ryan/Ian Bohen.  That man is a snack.

LOL at "snack", that's a great metaphor. I'm fairly certain that they aren't going to wrap it up this season as they have in the past, especially because they announced season four before they wrapped shooting on season three. I've also read a couple of articles that stated that the last episode of this season was crazy town and that people are going to be shocked by it. There's no way they wrap up the stuff with Willa, Beth and the native American badass gal, I'm sure we'll see a set up for that battle to take place next year. I thought I heard a voice over in the preview of Beth's voice and it kind of sounded like it could have been from the wedding. All that being said, on a shallow note I don't get the big deal over Josh Holloway? That guy is not attractive to me in the slightest especially with that greasy stringy hair. I'm close to Costner in age but he's just ok to me. I'm all in on Rip and Casey though.

I agree with this. While I agree with @Casseiopeia that he would kill in a role like Walker I would be reluctant to watch because I don't care for shows like that.

My first Jensen experience was Dawson's Creek but I was too enamored of Joshua Jackson to pay any attention to the wonder that is Jensen ☹️. I also still haven't watched Dark Angel because Jessica Alba's acting sucks ass and I don't think that I would enjoy it because of that. With that being said he will always be Dean to me the same as David Duchovny will always be Fox Mulder even though I've enjoyed him in other projects. It's his signature role so I suppose it's to be expected.

WOW I must really be older than dirt! The first role that I associate Jensen with  is Eric Brady on Day of Our Lives.

But then wouldn't she have told Rip, who would have ripped Jamie a new one?

I'm thinking that if Jamie did have something to do with her losing a child, it wasn't Rip who was the father.

That's a good point and I thought of that. You could be right or maybe John forbade her to tell him? Or I am way out in left field and that's ok too. 😉

I hope we finally get to the reason Yellowbangs detests her brother Jaime.

If I had to hazard a guess, I would bet that she was carrying Rip's child at some point and Jamie had something to do with her losing it.

  15. Oh boy, unpopular opinion incoming...I have ZERO sympathy for JS. We had a show that was a ratings juggernaut its first season, deservedly so. The second season was good but suffered from guest star overload. Third and fourth seasons were ridiculous in my opinion. Fifth season it was starting to finally get back on track, I thought anyway. Kingsley was a good villain for what it's worth. Then the shit hits the fan because some fool did something BEYOND stupid and I think that right there was the dagger to the show. I honestly thought Empire was getting back on track and boom. I don't blame Daniels, I'd be pissed too.

All of that being said, I agree that this ending sucked but unfortunately that's all we're going to get.

  16. What the actual f*ck was that last scene in the hospital and Amazing Grace scene? What an abomination. Hell would freeze over before I allowed ANY of that to be filmed when my mom passed away. The montage was appropriate and acceptable.

I never thought I would say this but my God Amber's too stupid to be allowed to be on tv, social media, date or have sex.

Thanks for that article though, I watched Baker and the Beauty and did not recognize her at all.

I did and I loved the show so it stands to reason that ABC will cancel it after one season. I really liked Grand Hotel last summer too.
