She is such a shit mother.  She's too busy putting on a show to think about her daughter's feelings.  Ensley is walking with her mother and probably thinks she is going with her mom.  She points away from Barb's car and starts crying when they go to put her in.  Jenelle just asks "what" because E is annoying to her and she can't think like a normal parent.

I ask "when" and not "if", because I don't think Jenelle has it in her to stay with one person, for the rest of her life.  Not enough drama, in that.

David will leave her.  He has actual skills and can get a job.  If he ditches Maryssa he only has one kid and can get another woman.  Jenelle can't support herself and will only ever attract more losers like she has in the past.  I suspect she knows she will never do better than David, the best she can hope for is a David level crazy who isn't abusive.

MTV acts like a documentary.  They have stepped in when the kids are in immediate danger (no car seats in Leah’s case) but they are not mandatory reporters and they are not responsible for stopping what they see.  Jenelle and David know how to turn off cameras and refuse to film when things are bad.

Jenelle is a lazy person who enjoys drugs and has done zero to change that.  She wants kids for the photo op and the fun times and doesn't want to deal with having real kids who need to eat or who behave like kids.  We saw this when Jace was a baby and she was shocked he needed to eat every few hours and we see the exact same response all these years and 2 more kids later.  Lots of people have mental illness and see counselors, go to treatment and learn there is a lot more to parenting than throwing hot dogs at kids and keeping them locked in playpens all the time.

I can't see Jenelle or UBT following the court's directives. UBT, who is undoubtedly in control, is hellbent on not following anyone's orders, no matter what. He is adamant and belligerent about 1) having done nothing wrong, and 2) being the unquestioned master of his life/Land/kids/wife/etc.

I think if the court ordered him to bring a dozen donuts to his next supervised visitation he would fight it, just on principle, so asking any more than that is a HUGE AFFRONT to him which he WILL NOT ABIDE. Say what you want about him, but UBT is unquestionably principled (when it comes to his absolute authority over his family/Land).

ITA that UBT's gut reaction to the court taking his kids away would be to impregnate his woman at least a couple of times back-to-back so that he would have 2 or more new kids within a couple of years. In his crazy mind, that would "vindicate" him and provide him with fodder to post on SM going, "I will do whatever it takes to protect my family. #fuckcps #noapologiesnoregrets" [posing with him brandishing a gun over the bassinet of his infant] I question whether Jenelle really got her tubes tied, but, if she didn't, I would 100% assume that UBT is trying to knock her up. If she really did get her tubes tied, I would think that he's planning how to dump her while keeping as much of their property/money as possible and scheming to hook up with some dumb, fertile new soulmate who could spawn him some new kids to be in control of.

I don't see how Jenelle could possibly meet the drug test requirement.  She couldn't not smoke pot for pregnancy, no way she is giving it up to keep these kids.

I agree.  Every year his birthday is a second thought.  Last year she was too busy because she had David's birthday and Kaiser's to plan and this year he gets a shared cake.  She has zero kids at home all day with no job and could have made two boxed cakes for under $5 each to make each child feel special with minimal effort and could have tossed in some Dollar Tree balloons in themes each kid would have liked.  What she is teaching him is her vacations are #1, next come all the other kids and David and if she gets around to it, Jace gets an unwrapped gift and a shared cake while Ensley gets a photo shoot.

Maybe WV is the backwards ass place Leah and her family make it seem, but Ali should be getting state devices like that. If she isn't, Leah and Corey need to get their asses in gear and figure it out for Ali's sake.

It’s possible they are currently getting respite and using a family member to provide these services.  As the parent you have the option of using either an agency or any friend or family member who is an adult.  In my area you cannot have them go to school nor can you pay for a private aid.  She would be entitled to a teacher paid by the district to come to her home if they chose to homeschool and at least 40 hours a month of a paid service worker plus the respite time where I live.  Possibly quite a bit more since we know she requires assistance with eating and in toileting.

She had a job as a waitress she got fired from for not showing up or calling in sick.  It think this might have been when she and Kiefer stole Barb's credit cards and went on vacation on Barb's dime.

Aren't they under 9 months apart in age?  You are more fertile after giving birth, but that seems extreme that she got pregnant ASAP and conveniently had the second baby under 9 months from the first.

It varies quite a bit by the region.  If you live in a an area that say has a lot of snow days you go back early, if you live in an area where you got out late May you go back early.  In general, I am all for a school that is in session more than out.
