  1. Mai… from her tactical smarts to her calculated show of emotion when required and saying all the things her fellow contestants wanted or needed to hear at the right moments.  Stone cold sociopath … but that is exactly what this game calls for!!

    Congrats to the winner!

I do wish the last game was better but that was one hell of a watch!!

  2. I am torn… I didn’t hate it.

Also, the character of Che is a complete and utter waste of Sara Ramirez and it’s something that can never been undone. I actually liked the scene between Che and Miranda.

Samantha’s appearance just made me sad about what’s missing and just highlighted what’s replaced her is just never gonna be good enough.

As always I live for Charlotte and Harry… with a side of Richard Burton.

If Aiden never returns … I WON’T CARE… asking someone to wait 5 years… nope.

  3. Aiden’s entitled, bratty son and his weird relationship with him is karma for Carrie calling Big a mistake…

Someone on Twitter said that final scene was Tropic Thunder level acting and I can’t stop thinking about it lol

If Miranda ever talks to Che again after that cruel set she gets everything she deserves.  And for Che to turn around when they are caught out and make it all about “poor old Che” who know one understands is some high level narcissism …worst.character.ever.

  4. Just as I recover from my Che trauma they give me old Aiden in his tighty whiteys… Nope.  Shut it down.

I will probably be alone in this but I found Nya’s sex scenes so jarring… like pantomime.  Also I don’t care about Nya… or The Wexleys or Seema’s love life/insecurities.

Charlotte and her naive, endless belief in people gives me life!

  5. Oh dear lord, I always favoured Big and Aiden has not changed AT ALL.  He shouldn’t have accepted the invitation.  I can see him and Carrie reaching the same point again when he wants to stay home in his tighty whiteys and eat KFC out of the bucket.  They were right to split 20 years ago because the are fundamentally very different people.  I don’t need a redux!

Also, I always loved Charlotte and this episode gave her exactly what I wanted for her.  It’s ok to want your own life back!  Her daughters and friends don’t deserve her and Harry is Harry! He’s wonderful and she’s lucky to have him.  Go own it Charlotte York Goldenblatt!!

And finally, why do TV shows always have to make people insanely insecure and OTT about the most overrated “holiday” … never in my real life have I had a conversation with my friends about Valentines Day and being alone.  It’s so cliche … stop it!! I beg you!

Oh my goodness. If someone were to write a dissertation on 21st century conspiracy theories, they could claim it all started with Castle fandom. 🤣

I have television series PTSD from those days… it’s the only time I was hoping for a cancellation of a TV show I loved… it was just a conspiracy ridden mess by the end. And from what I read about potential S9 plans it would appear to cancel it was a merciful act even if that did mean putting many wonderful, talented people out of work for a time.

  7. It's as if they thought they were doing something so progressive with Miranda's story arc in making Che non binary and a woman that we would all marvel in their progressiveness and really champion this brave new world they were trying to live in.  Sadly in all of that desperation they completely forgot about likability ... and believability

  8. Bottom line for me is there is zero chemistry between the Cynthia Nixon and Sara Ramirez.  It’s so key to getting the audience to invest.  Also I don’t like being told to suck eggs by sulky TV writers because I’m not buying what they’re selling.  Talk about passive aggressive bitchiness but I’d expect nothing less from MPK.

Also, why is Steve moving out?! Miranda blew up with marriage…he’s way too nice.

It is stunning the lack of chemistry with Miranda and Che, especially since Cynthia Nixon was apparently so attracted to the actor.  Guess it just doesn’t translate.  I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, I’ve never seen such un-hot sex scenes.  Even with Oliver Hudson, Che has zero chemistry.

It just screams "trying too hard..."  It's a shame.  Exploring a mid life journey like this for Miranda was going be hard but casting the wrong actor to play Che has made it almost unwatchable.  With her experience in all forms of acting you'd think Cynthia Nixon would understand how important chemistry is if only for her own performance... it's just such a bummer to see Miranda in this phase.  Personally I've always thought she was better than this.

  10. You know if they were so all in on this horrible, depressing Miranda storyline they should have made more effort to cast an actor who she had actual chemistry with.

Also, if we don’t get a scene between Carrie and Miranda where Carrie stops being a doormat and decides to read Miranda her life’s history I will be really disappointed…

Well, Patricia Field mentioned how...difficult, shall we say...when she had to dress Cynthia/Miranda, so I imagine it is the same for the current person in charge. (Molly Something? Patricia Field's protégée or something like that?)

I wasn’t gonna mention the early series Miranda terrible fashion choices but alas the problem still exists lol

  12. Miranda had more chemistry with Che’s ex in that 30 second scene than she’s had with Che in the entire run of this series… also, stop dressing her so badly.

  13. I really enjoyed this series ... took a while to really get moving but definitely above average for a law drama.  I will admit to being very tired whilst finishing off the last 3 episodes so will have to do a rewatch because I am pretty sure I may have dosed off and missed a few things...

  14. I'm a bit shocked that no one has posted here yet.  Surely this show is ripe for the picking even if it is to just critique Elizabeth Moss doing what she always does...spacey, intense flickering eye acting.

I'm a few episodes in and you could colour me intrigued.
