  1. Nope. IMK will do what she always does: not apologize for anything, force her fans to swallow the plot holes by never addressing them again, create two episodes per half-season that advance the plot, and 8-10 episodes that involve the girls looking shocked, getting locked in rooms in sketchy places they weren't supposed to be, and having relationship drama/dancing and making out when they're supposed to be worrying about A. For real, if the rest of this show is a bunch of grown-ass women still getting themselves locked in rooms and not going to the police for help, I quit. Not that I have much hope, since the moms did the exact same thing and are still locked in Ali's basement.
  2. I thought Nate had a knife that Emily managed to grab and stab him with (which is even more boss IMO), and Caleb was the dumbass who brought a gun and then left it laying around so not-dead-yet Nate could shoot him?
  3. This I didn't understand. Maybe since Mona was drugged up and thought Cece WAS Alison, Cece didn't figure out that Mona hated Alison's guts until she was already hooked on the game/found out Alison might be alive?
  4. I think it's possible the writers planned CeCe to be A, at least before season 6 started filming. In the 5 episodes we were told we should watch before the season 5 finale, CeCe-as-A storyline clues are in most of them, whereas Melissa and Wren are pretty irrelevant to them. Still, I don't believe IMK when she says she came up with this at the start of Season 3. Nope. Things I still want to know: -What possible motive did Ian have to kill himself? -Why did Mona(?) try to burn a house down with Jenna in it and frame Garret for it? -Why would CeCe blow up the Cavanaugh's house? -Melissa is super shady. Wren is super shady. Where the hell have they been? -Noel? -Jenna? -Lucas? -Weren't we promised a reveal of the entire A-team? Should Toby and Lucas' involvement been brought up? -And what about Varjak (could that be the "he" in the time jump?) -Did Cyrus live? -Where is Holbrook, and did he really date Ali? Summer of answers. Right.
  5. I watch this show because it's NOT high quality, lol. It lets me turn my brain off for an hour every week and lose myself in something that could never be reality. I kind of envy the friendship the girls have. I have great friends, but we're not as in tune with each other about when something's up. I certainly didn't have a group of friends like that in high school - everyone was too busy surviving their own issues/hormones. I really hope teen girls everywhere are learning and imitating the kind of support these four show for each other. I don't really like how the show portrays gay women though - while the overtone is that being gay is fine and normal and your friends and family should accept you for you, there's also a lot of subtle negative messages. Emily is the only one without an OTP, reinforcing the bullshit stereotype that homosexuals are promiscuous and noncommittal by nature. Her girlfriends are all troubled somehow - druggie, violent, married but confused, locked underground for years and released into the world with no counseling - which fits with Emily's personality of saving lost, sad puppies, but doesn't portray lesbians in a very empowered light. We could have had depth on Paige coming out to super homophobic family, but instead it happened and everything was wonderful and problem-free (so therefore her fear of coming out was irrational???). Bisexuality, in keeping with the pop culture trend (OITNB, I'm looking at you), is pretty much dismissed since Jenna and Alison's true romantic intentions are never explored (are they really bi, or are they using Shana/Emily?) and the involvement doesn't last long. And if you're a black lesbian, you WILL end up dead. I feel like the show could be a very positive platform on the issue, but it fails just as much here as it does with making sense of the storyline, portraying healthy student-teacher relationships, and solid parenting. But I still watch and read forums and stalk IMK on Twitter and listen to podcasts and try to figure out who A is... So obviously the writers are doing something right ;) It's a frustrating but fun mystery, just don't take it too seriously!
  6. I'm guessing the reason Spencer and Dean aren't an official thing yet is because "Spean" or "Dencer" are worse hashtags than Spoby. "Summer of Answers" has turned into "Summer of Once Again Spinning Wheels." I really wish instead of red herrings and overdramatic romance, we could find out what's up with Melissa, Jenna, Wren, Holbrook, Cece, etc. and maybe solve a few murders while we're at it. There's no way they're going to be able to answer all our questions in the finale, and these episodes have gotten so painfully dull.
  7. I would love for Charles to be Ezra, but I doubt they'd go there. I think Ezra The Creepy Stalker Writer having the stuff from Mona's lair makes more sense than EzrA, since A didn't steal the game from Mona until she'd been in Radley for a bit but Stalker Ezra knew about the dirt Mona had gathered and wanted it for his book. Wilden is my top suspect for Charles right now. He kept coming up in 4 of the 5 episodes the writers suggested we rewatch before season 6, I think IMK has said someone will come back from the dead, and I'm just as confused as Raytch about how and why he was killed. Also, the compass on his lighter and the compass on the Campbell farm logo were both featured prominently... I wonder if that matters? The Wilden/Cece connection definitely needs some clearing up, and the writers may have been so unclear in S4 because they're saving the answers for now. I hope. I'm still hoping my Peter theory pans out, and my husband thinks Spencer having blood on her hands in the last episode is a major clue to A being related to the Hastings somehow. All of this makes my brain hurt. Pepe is probably A. He's pissed off no one adopted him sooner.
  8. Hey everyone, First post! I've got a theory I'm working on, but I haven't had time to rewatch episodes to confirm or poke holes in it. Maybe you guys can? Peter Hastings is A. Alison and Jason find out that Peter is the father of Jessica's son, but do we know how? Do we know for sure it's Jason? What if Peter is actually Charles' father, and went along with being Jason's father to keep Charles a secret? So assuming that's true, Charles is Peter's first-born. Charles grows into a disturbed child because Kenneth treats him poorly out of resentment of the affair. When Charles is committed, Jessica chooses Radley so Charles will be near Peter. Peter has many long years of growing resentment, and after Charles' supposed suicide, Peter's resentment turns into full-blown hatred with a dose of crazy. He hates Alison for causing his son to be institutionalized, he has strong emotions about his daughter being friends with her, he hates Hanna for wanting to be her, he hates Emily for loving her, and he doesn't really care about Aria but feels the need to punish her a bit for ever having those terrible pink streaks in her hair. When the opportunity arises for him to steal the game from Mona, he jumps on it. He tries to shut down Radley because his son is dead, but Jessica wants to keep it open for Bethany/Mr. Young. He picks Melissa's prom as a representation of what Charles should have been able to do. There's been a lot of loose ends opened up with him that are never resolved, like the hockey stick buried in the Hastings' yard and the Losartan possibly used to murder Jessica. He has the funds and the muscle to pull off being A. When Melissa tells Spencer she's been protecting Spencer since before this started, maybe she knew something about Peter and Charles? Or maybe Melissa is in on it as the Black Widow. Charles may or may not be dead. I don't think he really committed suicide at 16 because I think he was involved in the Endless Night of Yellow Tops somehow. He could have died somehow after that, or maybe he's on the A team helping his daddy get revenge on the bitches who lived the life he wanted. This is a bit off the wall and probably wrong, but I thought I'd throw it out there :)
