The whole trying-to-get-weeks-old-Felicity-to-sleep was fake.  She was not a few weeks old when that was filmed. She was too big, and she had some control over her head.  My guess is that Jeremy & Jinger wanted time without the cameras for a while to adjust to parenthood, and then the producers wanted the "struggling to sleep with a newborn" storyline.

I could be wrong, but as they wanted time without her family right after they got married, I could see them wanting time without the cameras when the baby first came home.

Jinger never struck me as one who would tolerate cameras like some of her family. There would no birthing of babies on the shitter and keeping sweet while the cameras camped out in her living room for weeks.

I was shocked at the excitement the Duggar kids exhibited at the produce aisle sprinklers.  Do these kids never go grocery shopping?  Or more likely, they are not used to going into the fresh produce section.

So Josiah and Lauren revealed their pregnancy 2 days after taking the test. Her abdomen was completely flat so she must just barely be far along.

The tangine looked good, but doesn't that type of dish need long, slow cooking?  They started prepping and cooking just 30 minutes before dinner time.  Served on styrofoam, naturally, except Siah, who ate off a fish and chips take out container.

The pee stick was not likely dry and she probably peed on one every morning since she got married.

It really pains me to admit Michelle looks really good. She could use a haircut, as usual, but she's aging quite well.

I’ll bet you a box of Thin Mints that her bones and organs look like they belong to an 85 year old woman.

Jill needs three feet cut off of her hair and an intense hair mask. Jill needs to “partner” with some cosmetic company who will gift her some eye cream. There’s no reason why someone her age should look so damn old.

  5. I have no idea where they are getting the money for these houses. Kody’s official address is listed the same as Robyn’s so maybe he thinks HE deserves a house that big and it has nothing really to do with which wife he’s married to? No clue. But it’s an ugly house IMO. Janelle and Christine have beautiful views with considerable less square footage than Robyn got.

Does it say how much that house costs to rent?  How did you find that, I want to do some sleuthing and see if I can find the rental price.

So now we know Robyn has that mansion and Christine bought her house for $520,000.  Any clue on Janelle's rental?  I suspect she will get the short end of the stick.

Jenelle is living in a considerably smaller house.

I can only see the Zillow estimate.

So many unanswered questions re. this move...and we can be sure it will be the new season in 2020 (if it happens) before they are addressed.

I have read elsewhere that Robyn is ensconced in a 7 bedroom mansion, that's fairly understandable considering there probably wasn't a huge selection of rental properties available in Flagstaff within reasonable proximity to each other.  I have not read anything that mentions a rental property for Meri in Flagstaff, so I wonder if they are exercising economic restraint and Meri bunks in at Robyn's nest on the occasions when she is in town for filming.

I also wonder why Christine purchased the home she was renting, it doesn't seem right that the others would have new homes on the lots and not her, so I think this home will be the 5th home Kody mentioned they would have as a guest home for when the older kids came home to visit.

Yes, Robyn is renting a 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom monstrosity.

Oh yeah....I went to college there...long ago...same class as Sandra Bullock!  I didn't care for it, but, maybe it's changed since way back when. lol  IMO, the triangle is better (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill).  But, I suppose you go where your job leads.

I grew up near there and I still go back occasionally. There’s a ton more crime but otherwise it’s still the same.

I have wondered if Christine and Janelle would qualify for medical treatment as single parents.  Kody is apparently not on their kid's birth certificates and neither of them are presently employed where health benefits would apply.  Did we ever hear if Truely's hospital birth and later hospital stay due to the Brown family neglect was paid?

Re. Caleb and Maddie.  It seems they have vacated the rental house and are now moving to Greenville, NC, where Caleb has accepted a job.

Greenville, NC? Wow, they’re going to be in for some serious culture shock.

I think Robyn thought MSWC would do well.  Janelle was right it was just going to be a hobby business.  Was never going to make much money.    What was sad about the situation is despite it not making much money, she expected Meri to do all the inventory and packaging and invoicing and mailing.  Basically wanted someone to do most of the physical work.  I think everyone knew that they wouldn't see any money from Robyn's venture and definitely nothing from Meri.  But they all depended on Janelle to bring home a big paycheck each week.  Janelle didn't get much from her paycheck.  I think she got super depressed and panicky when Robyn and her three kids came along, knowing they were going to have to support 4 more people, with no additional money coming in and no prospect of any coming in.  Robyn never intended to work at a job.

Robyn must be doing something right because she’s living/renting a 7 bedroom 7 bathroom mansion in Flagstaff (I would never give out the address.)

The uplines earn money based upon how much their downlines purchase from the company.  If the downlines never sell it, it matters not because the uplines get paid already. I've had more than a few Mary Kay people aggressively pursue me (I wear makeup and its very natural--no caterpillars above my eyes, no winged out eyeliner, no false lashes) so I've seen these people "work their business" and uplines pushing downlines to put orders in. I've lost several friends because I refused to be bullied into signing up. If I get a sniff of a MK lady, I turn and bolt. No more being nice and letting the "independent business woman" do a "facial" on me. That's why the individual downlines in companies like LLR have no chance; they're put to buy more inventory regardless of their ability to sell that inventory. The uplines don't care because they get paid by the orders, not the sales. Essentially, these consultants are the customers because they purchase the inventory. If they can't resell that inventory, well then they start shaming you. "You need to work harder, quitters never win and winners never quit". They have a language unto themselves. It really is sad and predatory of women who buy into the "dream". In the day of the internet where you can research anything before jumping in, I think there is no excuse for people getting involved in these things.

That actually changed which is why some of the top 100 quit. It went to a bonus based solely on how much their downline were selling through Bless. LLR did that to skirt the law because their previous bonus plan was straight up illegal.

This is fascinating stuff, thanks for posting it Sandy!

So maybe Meri really is making some money off this pyramid scam. And, as usual, Meri doesn't care that her success comes at the cost of stepping on other people. The lowest level people lose thousands, can't get the refunds they were promised, etc...people who sadly can't afford to lose money are encouraged to keep buying more inventory so Meri can go to a fancy party. Nice.

Typical dick move by Meri. She cares about no one but herself.

She’s probably catapulted up the food chain because dozens of the top earners have quit.

There was talk on the Benessa thread of gateway fundies.  For many of us, it was Emily and her husband Dna (Em wasn't a great typist) and their little boys.  Her blog was Under 1000.  They lived on under $1000 a month.  It was equal parts disturbing, crazy, pathetic and scary.  Emily stopped blogging but she did archive it.  Beware: it is addictive and not in a good way.

    http://under1000permonth.blogspot.com/2009/

All of this happened several years ago, and many of us reading the blog became very afraid for the well being of her kids.  Children's services was notified as was the administration of the seminary that Dna was attending at the time.  Somebody even sent Emily a new mattress for her baby after seeing photos of the kid sleeping on a tattered, stained mattress that she'd pulled out of the trash or something.  Emily sold the new mattress on Craig's list rather than use it.

Probably the most disturbing episode was when Emily's 4 year old got sick.  She didn't do doctors and was doing all sorts of crazy herbal stuff.  It was only after he lay in bed nonresponsive (ie, comatose) for a day or so that she got medical help.  He ended up in the ICU with a life-threatening infection.  He did recover, thank goodness.

Rumor has it that Dna left the seminary and they later split up.

I remember someone sent them a mattress. It was organic and rather expensive. Emily and Dna were a train wreck.

Remember how much weight Dna lost in a short period of time? He certainly had dental issues but her gloodles and teaspoon of tube meat on a tortilla was not enough calories for a grown man.

  15. That was when the internet was a magical place.

Full disclosure, I didn’t realize what thread we were in. Since it’s Jess’s, I’ll say this: if Jessa and Bin keep having babies One kid is going to have to sleep under the crib like one of Emily and Dna’s kids.

Remember when one one of them was in a coma for four days and no one sought medical help? I looked it up it was over 8 years ago. They were pretty memorable.
