  1. In the cases where these people rent, I mostly feel sorry for the property owners. And I know it is difficult to evict someone these days, but yikes. I would be furious if I had one of these hoarders renting my home, only to find out I couldn't evict them. I know it is a mental illness, but allowing it to continue doesn't help either. When the city says they are going to evict someone, at times I think they should follow through and just do it.
  2. They seem like a nice couple, with a nice family. But I don't need to watch the inter-action with the kids "at home", or what they do in their personal lives. Too cutsy, too "I love you.... but I love you more!!". The kids (being kids) are of course totally dis-interested, and the conversations seem so forced. I love my husband and family too, but this isn't unique, nor do I expect the rest of the world wants to watch it. What I do want to watch is how they renovate the houses. That is what I tune in for.
  3. Joanna has good taste, but like others have stated, it is completely "one note". Shabby Chic, country contemporary, whatever you want to call it, every house looks the same. Does EVERYONE in Waco want the same house? Or perhaps the people that go to them, what just what they see on TV. How many more rooms with the large clock on the wall can se look at? I watched 4 shows in a row, and everyone was identical to the other. Instead of looking "fresh", they are looking "same 'ol, same 'ol". If this is what they do, fine. But a real designer can do rooms that are not their own personal taste.
