I think Gil is willing to take on Myrla's sassiness and he will probably say "yes" on decision day, but I'm not 100% sure. He's a pretty sharp guy who is measuring "the rest of my life" carefully and I'm not sure that they will last even if they choose to stay married. I truly think he wants a warmer person. Myrla is very high maintenance, possibly too high.

I think Zack is actually a little frightened of her because she's so irratic. Not frightened in a sissy kind of way, but his good sense is telling him to distance himself and be cautious. Zach is a nice person with a good heart, I hope this show eventually brings a great gal into his life.

Brett and Ryan have given in to the fact that they will say "no" on decision day, and they'll play it out as best they can. Same with Bao and Johnny.

Drama time for Michaela!

Yes, but she's just gearing up for drama.

Michaela is nuts. Period. And she is worse when she drinks alcohol.

This "couples" retreat is more like a bunch of unrelated, non-connected people!

She's finally being honest. It's good and Ryan deserves to hear how she feels.

Ryan is trying to blame Brett. "I was trying to be an adult." Ha. Really? He's out of ideas and sounds like an idiot.

I think Bao is very bright and she's had a history where she recognizes--rightfully so--an unfeeling, callous partner. I hope she rejects him because it will be a learning experience for her. She needs an easy-going, larger-thinking man who isn't wrapped up in himself. She deserves much more. (Of course, Johnny will try to establish that he is rejecting her, but we all know what the truth is.) He's clearly out of ideas.

I like Gil, but he looks ridiculous in that red cowboy hat!!! 😁

Mark these words. He will say "no" on decision day (using a million words to rationalize the decision and also blame Bao) and then he will--later on--want her back. This will happen!

It looks like Gil is headed for "yes" on decision-day, but I'm not 100% sure. After six weeks, she's still pretty standoff-ish and Myrla seems to show deeper feelings only after a few martinis. He may decide that he needs someone who is much more affectionate and can form a closer bond. Then there's the materialistic side of Myrla which is a real consideration. I like Myrla, she's smart and successful, but I'm not sure Gil is as eager to make this permanent as we thought. He's handsome, funny, smart, sincere, family-loving, and he's a firefighter! Gil has it all. Too much "hard-to-get" may be a mistake on Myrla's part.

Michael is a little too physically explosive. She instantaneously loses control and becomes compelled to act out physically--throwing things over, slamming doors. That's bad for any relationship, whether it's a man or a woman. No one really wants that.

It's worse than that. She believes the responsibility for the success of the marriage is completely in Ryan's hands. And she's actually not taking any responsibility.

Yes, Johnny's words are cruel. I would check out (in my mind) at that point and finish up for the money. Yes...as if the problem is Bao. Earth to Johnny!

Brett lied to Ryan. She was supposed to ask him a question but she's too frightened. Does she really want to work at the marriage? Or is she just wanting Ryan to change so he's just what she thinks she needs and wants. Brett isn't emotionally engaged and she's blaming Ryan for not being emotionally engaged. It's called projecting!

Gil is one of the best MAFS grooms I've seen since the beginning. He's not self-centered, but he has some healthy boundaries and he communicates really well. I hope this couple makes it and well beyond decision-day.

I saw that and Michaela really trashed Bao. I was shocked! Michaela looked a little off. I think she has some real emotional issues.
