Watching the clip of Christian’s runway from his season, I’m remembering what a nasty arrogant little asshole he was,in spite of his incredible talent. It’s nice to see that age & success has helped him become a seemingly nicer guy.

Maybe I’m not remembering correctly but I loved him during his season. He made me laugh and I thought he was very endearing just being himself.

  2. I believe Hester mentioned to DVF she designs outfits people can wear to raves? Nobody would wear that shit to a rave (would they?) And raves are still a thing???

'Suggestions' are different than designing a whole new dress which is what Christian did for Hester.  If he had let Hester sink, with that dreadful white dress, the way he let Bishme sink, the top 3 would probably look a lot different.  And they didn't want THAT.

I have no doubt that Nina was trying to get Garo eliminated and would have succeeded had Bishme not fallen apart. She really seems to have it in for him. I don't know, I personally find him likable and talented.  Hester could have sent the white outfit down the runway and the judges would have loved that one too. I just don't get it. #teamSebastian

  4. Late to the party but let's get it started!!! At this point if there's going to be a woman in the final three, I hope it's Hester and I can't believe I would ever say that. Also wouldn't it have been so great if Tessa's client stood on the runway and told the judges, "I fucking hate this dress."

  5. It's strange to me to bring back the eliminated designers to "help." They were gone because they weren't very good. It seemed for this challenge they were in the way more often than not. And they need to stop with the way they're letting designers choose who they get or which model they get, etc. It's juvenile; this is a professional design competition, not elementary school recess.

  6. Hester's personal style still makes me cringe. Everything is so matchy matchy and Justice and Claire's. Good grief, how did she haul all that shit from Sante Fe. She must have a U-Haul parked offsite for the accessories alone.

I liked both Garo's and Tessa's. All of the top three in my opinion were well constructed, and the bottom ones were shoddy, shabby, and so poorly executed that everyone else was safe by default.

Nadine was awful. And a sore loser in my opinion. There were a few shots of Tessa looking really uncomfortable as Nadine trash talked her own model.

Kovid is just SO MUCH. Maybe I’m a cranky old lady but the hopping up and down and laughing and clapping grates on my nerves.

More importantly-I hope we see Swatch next episode!!

Kovid: aw so precious, so dramatic, so fake!!  I hate his shtick & I get why Nadine left. He had to be on her last nerve.  #teamSebastian

  8. Please add me to Team Hate Hester.  She's succeeding with the "kooky" attire in getting more camera time and talking heads, and it's becoming clear that it can't hide her complete lack of talent and skill and taste. I'm sure there's  a job out there somewhere when she's eliminated but I'm hard pressed to come up with one. Chuck E Cheese?

Two things:  1) Thank you and 2) WHAT?  There were TWO cancelled weddings?

Mrs H, I missed it too and really sounds like it was a doozy! Dang!

More themes we're bound to see:

    Barbie's Dream Wedding

    Teletubbies Tie the Knot

    Black Tie Emojis

  10. I watched the one the other day that had a Valentine's Day theme with red, white and black. It was fairly low budget but all the food was down home cooking and was prepared by family and friends of the bride and was delicious! She scored a perfect 30 on the food and (correct me if I'm wrong ) a 30 on her dress. I'm also thinking she had alcohol served. I was happy she won!

Later 'glass slipper Danielle' is on - a classic.  Said she'd be "without words" if Kitty won. Well, Kitty won LOL. I still don't think Danielle was 'without words' though, unfortunately.

Definitely a classic! Something tells me she's not on Kitty's Christmas card list.

Watched the Charleston brides today. I liked the first bride and her classy wedding. She had the Clemson tiger make an appearance at her reception. But then she had a meltdown when the fourth bride had "Cocky" the University of South Carolina gamecock at her reception. I mean she was seriously pissed. Fourth bride had the Halloween themed wedding where most of guests wore costumes of which I'm not a fan but she was so nice and fun loving and gave good scores to the other brides and everyone seemed to have a good time! So I was disappointed she came in second and Miss Hissy Fit won.

Funny I just saw that one recently but couldn't remember much of it.  I don't recall if he was military. Yeah the one with the bob was the 'bitchy one' (there's always at least one, right?). Can't recall the dessert spread. The beachy bride did do a good job as well. I think they all mostly got along pretty well too.

I think the "...and a Tour Bus" is on today - for some reason I really enjoyed that one. The cop who won was the biggest critic, as I recall; her gown was really lovely (even though strapless again). But that one bride who had the ex-stripper husband & it was his 4th marriage - damn for some reason I thought she was hilarious. She couldn't recall which wife she was gonna be to that guy - 3rd or 4th; think she settled on 4th LOL. Yeah, well good luck!

Loved the classic cars in that one too - the police car really hit it; I have to give her that too!

I liked her too, I liked her wedding, they seemed like a really fun couple, and I hope that marriage #4 is the charm!

Just saw a rerun in Pittsburg - so we all know what that means!!  Lots and LOTS of references to the Steelers and the Pirates.  Micah won (she was the girl) not to be confused with Tyler, another girl.  We had the standard goth type girl with a Friday the 13th wedding.  Not my thing and she placed fourth.  Not everyone wants a appetizer that looks like a bloody finger.  Super Sporty Girl came in fourth.  Too bad but she was a hoot at all the weddings!!

I can't chap too much on having your reception at PNC Park, where the Pirates play as I am sure my older son would have a wedding reception at Target field here in Mpls someday if he could, lol!

I did not like Steeler bride at all!!!! but she really pulled off the theme well without crossing the line into tacky.  I really liked it but I'm glad she lost. My favorite college team, Pitt, plays there. If Four Weddings isn't on Saturday, tune into the Pitt - Penn State game and look for me, I'll be wearing a Pitt t-shirt ?

If Lisa Whelchel  (The Facts of Life) and Liza Weil (Gilmore Girls) had a baby, it would be Destiny ("Country Charm" wedding).

Destiny's vocal fry was ATROCIOUS. Her husband Shane must be either a saint or deaf to sign up to listen to THAT for the rest of his life...

Vocal fry on steroids. I wouldn't be able to hang out with her for a minute, let alone marry her.

The right wedding won but that naked roller skater is not something that was good for making a memory. That was tasteless, stupid & so inconsiderate to his wife. I hope he doesn't have any other obnoxious surprises in store for her in her life, but she picked him so good luck to her there. I may seem harsh but that crap during a wedding ceremony really pissed me off.

I get what you're saying....if I hadn't seen it I'd agree with you...but there was just something about the way it happened...it was so quick and unexpected and silly that I couldn't help but laugh.

  16. So, ironically, the winners of tonight's episode was "city chic." And they were my favorite couple (Markeisha and Michael.) Great antidote to the Kentucky weddings. So lovely to see people dressed to the nines celebrating in elegant venues.

  17. Late to the party...after reading everyone's reviews, I took one for the team and watched it this evening. My eyes hurt from rolling them so much. How in the hell does someone win when they had a dry wedding? No. No. No.  I know cash bars are considered tacky, but if you can't afford an open bar, give your guests the option of buying drinks!  A bottle of wine at each table would come to maybe $300 total? I like to party at weddings and understand that there might be circumstances where it would be inappropriate (bride and groom in recovery, or religion...)   But was that food so expensive that you couldn't budget $1,000 for beer and wine (and Jell-O shots are very economical. Just sayin')

Everything else I have to say about these yahoos has been said very eloquently.

    Rachel and Josie were robbed.

If you can afford a pair of brand spanking new overalls for wedding garb, you can buy a pair of khakis at Kohl's for $30 or Goodwill for $5.

In the original format of Four Weddings, Taia would have scored a 30...hee hee.

I'm over the rustic/country chic barn/winery weddings. The cutesy chalkboard signs & mason jars I used to like a lot. Now it's like meh.

so where do I find these people on Facebook? I wanna get on there and add my support to the nice brides.

  18. I'm loving the bingo challenge!

    A couple more:

They had a mashed potato bar!!!! (these brides are clearly deprived of mashed potatoes)

    ________________ was a nice touch.

    She looks so happy!

(The previously mentioned not enough food/too much food drives me crazy!)

  19. The glass clinking thing annoys me to no end. I live in Western PA and I've never been to a wedding that doesn't have it. The money dance is popular among various ethnic groups.  At the last wedding I went to, a guest could contribute a few bucks in exchange for a shot and dance with the bride or groom (equal opportunity tackiness.)  Ha ha I'm just kidding though and not judging an old tradition.  And almost all weddings here have cookie tables which are awesome!

My son and i are in DC for a Nats game and had to leave for the game!!  Damn!!!  Saw her first "3" given for a wedding that was not quite Hawaiian enough.

Right?  other two brides gave Hawaiian bride a 9 and 8, so clearly BLAN's strategy was give innapropriately low scores to the other three brides.  Backfire much?  One of the others mentioned that BLAN "is very opinionated."  That's why we must insist on Four Brides: Where Are They Now?  In my imaginary interview, those three have become friends, while agreeing BLAN's too rude (ROOD) and not very sharp (DUMM) . hee hee.

    ~~~editing to say I thought I posted this back on the 21st and when I got ready to post something more recent today, it was still here . Musta gotten sidetracked before hitting submit reply. Enjoy this 10 day old post, my fellow Four Weddings fan friends. ;)
