I'm watching rhe episode where they talk about courting more and all of Jinger's responses sound like today's traditional dating with the label of courtship. Talking about getting to know them, making sure you both have the same interests except having marriage in the back of the mind. Gives me more hope she'll somehow breakaway from her family. She really knows how to take photos and I hope she's allowed to peruse that further. It's perfextly fine for a woman to want to take a traditional role in the home, but they should actually want to do so.

Agreed. I was date raped last year and I'm the person who always thought I'd punch someone in the balls if they tried doing that to me. Here I am a year later and this fucker is still messing up my life (trying to get into a new college). The most I've done is flip him off.

I would love to see someone tell any of the married kids their marriage certificate wasn't filed and they actually weren't worried. Look at all of the sins they've committed! I still can't get over all of the girls giving marriage and dating advice when they've never held a guys hand. There's a reason a lot of people don't marry their first partners or get married after 3 months of dating, especially at 18. I wish the girls got to experience actually dating someone, half the rush for them to marry is to be able to actually hug their future spouse. So sad.

The only thing that creeps me out is that at 17 I was not ready to start thinking about marrying someone soon. I'll be 20 in a week and I still think that way. I know plenty of older people who got married at that age and have had long successful marriages, buys it's still just creepy.
