  1. Regarding the speech, he's hyponasal (says /b/ for /m/ and /d/ for /n/, like when you have a cold). Could have come from a boxing injury resulting in limited airflow from the nose, among other possible structural problems. He also pronounces /r/ closer to a /w/, which is rare in people over 6 or so.
