Actually, most people who have working brains would hire a professional to deal with the bees, someone who actually KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING

I'm SURE that the cost of renting that stupid suit would have at least offset or exceeded what hiring a professional would cost.

However, in ZiT world only one thing counts:  MAKING ZACH FEEL COMPETENT AND PRODUCTIVE!  He'll flail around trying to do the job; however, we KNOW that, in this case, success will be impossible! He simply lacks the skills and expertise to do the job properly.

Also, my heart ACHED THINKING about destroying even ONE PRECIOUS BEE as I KNOW how precious bees are and how important they are in our ecosystem!

My question is whether they are filming???  Always a big mystery.  My thought was this might have been a production "gimmick" to provide a story line for an episode.

I'm convinced that without the $$$ from the show their family would NOT be able to sustain their lifestyle, irrespective of Tori's constant shilling for her paid endorsements on Instagram.

I saw her post about a week ago touting all her roles in brilliantly running her household and referred to herself as a "content creator."😆

Not when I went to college. Plus my parents couldn't afford an apartment. Dorms all the way.

Same here.  I had no interest in living in off-campus housing.  I liked having things done for me and did a lot of studying.  The food was also pretty good.

My daughter, however, felt differently.  She lived off-campus for her entire 4 years and I paid for it!

Good grief, the Tuesday August 29th Chopped was a disgrace and horrible!!!

I have noticed that the QUALITY of the contestants on Chopped has descended to a level never contemplated when the show began.

I still recall many EXCELLENT chefs who made their reputations and careers by being on the show.

Lately, it's quite daunting to find contestants possessing that level of ability and, thus, the show has dimmed my interest in continuing to watch it.

That one kitchen looked like a morgue to me. And her vocal fry was irritating.

His "affected" speech tone and cadence was no better...it occurred to me that they were perfectly "matched" because I couldn't understand how "unaffected" alternative "mates" could have tolerated EITHER OF THEIR annoying voices!

Also, for whatever reason, I did give pause to her remark regarding "missing him" if their individual offices were not contiguous to the other and then brightening up to remark (paraphrase) "but soon we'll be back together." ☺️

Child raising customs have changed and I don't think parents use play pens anymore as a way of not having to be in the same room as a crawling kid or a toddler.

REALLY?  No play pens??  My youngest grandchild is 8 yrs old and my daughter always put her kids in a playpen when they were babies until they could walk.

I wasn't aware that parents don't use playpens any longer.  My question is:  "WHY?"

Why is she still seeing patients in the parking lot?

Is it possible that these shows were filmed a few years ago and put in the "can" for future viewing?

I note that there is no other show I watch where NEW episodes are shown over the summer months so that's my conclusion.

She was being so maganimous with her saying it was her job that caused the move so she was willing to give the husband choices, but every time the hubby would say he liked something or wanted something else, she disagreed with him.

My overall impression was that the wife financially supports the family.  The husband mentioned some garbled job he had at the last location that seemed to be subordinate to the wife's job.  At the new location, I wonder if he continued to work in that capacity at the company.

I noticed he emphasized "alone time" and specified he wanted an area of the house for him to pursue his interests away from the rest of the family.  I wonder if he isn't essentially a "stay-at-home dad" (there's nothing wrong with that).

On that basis, the way they relate to each other puts the wife firmly in control of financial matters (that she noted when he made some "off-handed" comment about the sale price on a prospective home as being "it's only money" and her laughing derisively (since she's the one who has to EARN IT!!)

Anyway, I know several couples where this dynamic exists in the family and they are all long-standing marriages with children.  As long as the husband "knows his place" and doesn't "challenge the wife" (she stated something to the effect of "you know I'll push back" in one encounter) everything will work to the benefit of keeping the family whole and "happy."

From an article about this, I believe I posted this previously:

”It’s not that the babies have larger tongues, it’s the way that the face is developing. The middle of the face is underdeveloped and the tongue appears to be larger.  As they grow, the face develops and will accommodate the tongue.

This typically happens at around 2 or 3 years old.”

He was born at the end of April, 2022.

Thank you.  That makes total sense!

What did she expect, don't post it up if you don't want to get shit on.She is not too bright.

On a related issue, I noticed that "sigh-sigh" still has that enlarged tongue sticking out of his mouth.  Seem to recall this being commented on early in his infancy; however, the consensus seemed to me that as his mouth enlarged, his tongue would be able to fit inside.

I'm not seeing any visible improvement but then recall that Lilah was essentially "bald" into her second year and EVENTUALLY, as she turned 3, her hair came in.

Maybe sigh-sigh's tongue situation will take a similar amount of time to improve as well.

PATIENCE seems to be the operative word for these kids, and, I would say, that would also apply to Jackson's legs!

It's hard to imagine that in 3 years he went from practically homeless, in his words, to qualifying for a $700k mortgage.

I'm with you on that.  When he was talking about his "budget" and then stated it is $700K, I was kind of amused.  I'm still not sure exactly what type of job he has in "architecture;" however, it's certainly lucrative and I HOPE he can keep that level of employment for years to come!!

    Still in Tori's back pocket.

I SPECIFICALLY looked and listened long and hard to yesterday's Tori video of Lilah and can say with no hesitation that, yes, there were many "sounds" and a certain conversational "cadence" coming from Lilah's mouth, but NONE of the words were the least bit understandable...just babbling.

I think Lilah will be placed in school this year (I HOPE) and, there she will presumably be given the special services she needs to be able to communicate better than she does now.

He can still run the farm side where his new house and Jacobs RV are located and the show can still film.

Oh, I didn't know that Jacob lived in an RV.  Is that their choice or temporary?

I think Matt's done and ready to roll.  What's the latest on the house being built for Matt and Caryn?

I agree with you.  QUESTION:  How are Jacob and Zach going to manage financially without the $$$ from the show/farm?

Jeremy, we know, is "set" because they have some type of income-producing "cockamaymie" business AND he has wealthy in-laws and owns an expensive property.

Molly is a financially independent, married, professional with no children (as yet) .

Zach and Tori are delusional if they think they can maintain their lifestyle on her income from being a media "influencer."

Jacob and Izzy, similarly, (although I don't think they derive income from the show), DO get paid (I'm assuming well) by Matt for helping him on the farm and they also get housing.  I can only speculate (never a good thing to do, but who cares🤩) that Matt (with all his millions) will set up some type of "trust" to support Jacob and family until they can find a way to make a living that is steady, reliable and continuing and live comfortably on their own.  If, (as with some members of my own family), that day never arrives (financial independence) he will support them forever (probably finding some type of work for them to do).

Wasn't it posted somewhere that LPBW was already filming. Maybe they are regreting their decision not to film, hence their frustration and boredom. That is if they really did quit the show. What else are they going to do?

I follow Tori on Instagram where she freely hawks her online product endorsements and posts a lot of videos with the kids.

Nothing is ever mentioned about filming.

Does anyone know if the show was renewed and if ZiT are still involved with it?

There was talk of pumpkin season 2023 launching with Jacob and his wife playing a big part in running that and the farm, in general; however, today, I read that the farm is back on the mkt so I wondered about their status with the show.

I’ve suffered from depression most of my life and am happily married for seven years now. There is no reason that Miles’s depression would render him unable to sustain a marriage. Many people with many different types of mental illnesses are able to be married happily.

I remember Miles discussing his depression and also that he was in treatment for it. I don’t think the pressure of the show helped but honestly I think the pressure of the show is horrible for everyone.

I completely agree that there are people who can thrive in personal relationships, including marriage, while managing mental illness.  However, not everyone can successfully manage a marriage, with or without a diagnosed mental health condition.

Just the pressure of social media constantly checking up on the status of their relationship and the various business and marketing promotions they were involved with (like international travel that they sponsored...I'm really not sure about the details but I recall reading something about their trips) may not have been compatible with what he and his psych team thought was the most healthy environment for him to achieve the goals he set out for himself.

Perhaps, but just being younger is no guarantee that they'd be more in touch with today's dating scene.  I have single friends in their '60s that are in that dating scene right now and know more about it than these "experts", so age shouldn't really be the only deciding factor.  Both Cal and Pepper are not just out of touch with that, they aren't really very good judges of character or what makes a relationship work, and age doesn't have anything to do with that either.

I always had my reservations about Miles, which I caught a lot of crap for, but I still stand by that opinion.

The most prominent feature about Miles' ability to sustain his marriage to Karen, IMO, is his SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS that he went into public discussion about on many occasions.

His Major Depressive Disorder was the lynchpin of his failure to relate in a healthy manner with Karen, and that was from DAY ONE!  I recall literally "cringing" as the show filmed him trying to manage his symptoms and Karen trying to be as supportive as she possibly could be.

I know she is in the health field and I know she had compassion for his  condition; however, maybe Miles believed that regardless of Karen's support he needed "space" from ANY marital responsibility in order to manage his condition as he needed to do with as little social "pressure" as possible.

    Just my 2 cents.

I don't know if it's still true, but  that was once Houston's claim to fame.

Well, that plus operating the guard gates at the prison, Uber driving, GrubHub deliveries, teaching English on line, mystery shopping, writing self-help e-books, and baby and pet sitting all round out their income. At least until they run the plumbing and electricity to their back yard for their rental trailers. 😏

I'm trying to wrap my head around all those "businesses."  All I'm left with is how "steady, reliable and continuing" their income is.  I'm wondering what the monthly mortgage payment is on the house they picked,

On Sunday, I believe they did the farmers lunch.  She made her version of a blossom cookie which was massive, and had 1/2 Hershey bar on top instead of a kiss.  Yeah, they were that big.

    It looked lucious.

I noticed that Molly's wardrobe and overall appearance reverted back to the "look" she had when the show began and continued after Bernie was born.  That is the cute "apron and neat top combo" in interesting colors.  The addition of false eyelashes didn't interfere with her overall "look."

Last year (maybe last 2 yrs), she went for a more "casual" look verging on "sloppiness" with jeans and oversized tops.  Maybe it had something to do with her 2nd pregnancy.

I prefer this "look."  She looks professional and adorable!!

Toro had Josiah in a forward facing car seat in her latest video. No way he’s the height or weight for that. Heck, Lilah probably isn’t either.

I saw another Instagram she posted where the kids were in some vehicle (maybe heading out to the airport to attend that Little People's Convention??) and neither Lilah nor Jackson were belted in their car seats?  Were my eyes deceiving me?

I knew that Scottsdale is a prestigious area but was still a bit surprised that the amount of house that kind of budget would be was essentially somewhat of a basic builder grade home - and not even a new one with stylish finishes.

I've lived in Phx for over 30 YRS and used to get to Scottsdale often for shopping and other things.

After the COVID hiatus from "normalcy" I haven't been up there recently (the AZ summer heat makes doing anything outdoors virtually impossible.  Today it's 114!))

All that said, I was astonished at how little house $700K could buy in Scottdale, 2023,

Could it have possibly been the use of the phrase "I like" about 25 times?  Also, the massive amount of overtalk of each other by the 3 women made some parts of the episode hard to understand.

    Most definitely!!!

Oh, and I don't give a rat's ass about Dr. Lee's bestie getting free PR for her business either.

Was that on one of those "bonus scene" re-runs that they always label "NEw" on my cable guide?

If so, I missed it.  Care to clue me in on what business she was hawking?
