This episode was so tedious, I can't watch again, but was the guy's whole defense that he should be absolved from kidnapping and all other charges because the girl liked his baths and watching stars?
I had almost forgotten that there was a sex doll element to this story. Was that mentioned lately?
Given how bad the episode was, I'm going to assume there was no solid reason as to why the mom was sexting the perp and why the dad was rather blasé about the issue.
The mom was treating that lock of hair like a relic of a dead child or an appendage he cut off. So many strange acting choices.

While both Charrisse and Mia were both wrong for blaming Candiace for her response, they were both correct in saying Candiace had too much to lose to tangle up with Deborah.
Let's not forget that Mia has thrown things (lettuce, water) at both Candiace and Wendy.

Agree. I only mentioned it because Ray commented that she looked a lot less than triple 20.
Karen looked good, but she looks her age. However, by the 3rd show, whatever she did with her mouth was bugging me. She continuously pursed her lips, but her bottom lip would lay flat in a strange way. The mechanics of her mouth were strange.
Additionally, one time she spoke she sounded garbled as though her dentures fell out of place mid-sentence.

I think a lot was cut out, such as Wendy giving Nneka the business in Igbo (a scene we saw from the trailer but did not see tonight) and an extended cut Ashley getting her ass handed to her. We got the extended cut of Candiace being piled on by Gizelle & Robyn and having to apologize, though.
I was specifically waiting for that scene. Amazing how they keep re-editing up to the last minute.

My thoughts on Mia's inheritance.
I wonder if there was an older couple that Mia was involved with (perhaps a sex worker throuple situation), who left her some cash in their will.
Or more likely an elderly sugar daddy that was not Gordon.
That makes more sense than fairy grandparents who let you go into foster care but leave you a ton of money after they die.
At this point, any pretentiousness about this show being upper-crust has been flushed down the toilet.
Mia has siblings. Did they get a pay out too? What about her mom? These generous grandparents couldn't keep her out of foster care?

It’s odd though, to meet a whole “coffee bar” full of pricey equipment. I dated a really wealthy guy a couple years ago, and although he did have an expensive espresso/coffee maker, y there was no “bar” and it wasn’t treated as a big deal. And one giant machine was enough!
I don't think any of his equipment is high end or expensive. But if you peruse Goodwill, you can get some nice equipment at excellent prices.
I can't fault anyone for enjoying the coffee game.
Jill, he was making an espresso.

Josh was diddling his sisters which is incestuous, but I don't hear that said plainly. Kind of ironic that their son was the fox in the henhouse, while they projected a holier than thou demeanor.

I hope they don't do a season 2. What's the hook? Michonne and Rick's raison d'être was to find their way back to each other, and they did that after a MASSIVE, years-long separation.
Unless season 2 were to focus on a Judith and/or RJ kidnapping/disappearance and them going off on another quest to find them, Rick and Michonne's story has been told, which was the purpose of this six-episode run.
Showing them living day-to-day as a family in the Commonwealth or Alexandria would just be the mothership redux.Yes, this needs to be the end of this storyline. Especially since they are committed to the RJ actor and when he appears on screen, a black hole of anti energy opens up. No one has been able to act with him at all.

About eight years ago, I sat on my toilet, 🤪 looking at the paperwork to join Mary Kay makeup as a representative. Our family had been in full time ministry for about 5 years and it was taking its toll on us financially. 😢
There was a lady that had approached me at a church we traveled to, to sing at and present our ministry there. She told me about Mary Kay makeup and asked me to join her team. I prayed and thought a LOT about it. I mean, I was a licensed cosmetologist, and makeup would be "right up my alley". But alas, no matter how much I thought and prayed about it, I could not get peace from God to pursue it. One day, I even picked up my phone and called my friend to ask her about it, but she was gone on vacation. This gave me more confirmation it wasn't God's will.
As much as I enjoy putting on makeup, it is a vain thing and I couldn't imagine myself actively promoting it. So, I shelfed the idea and went on with life. 😊 A few months later, my "sister in law" reached out to me, asking me about joining Plexus. Now this was something I could get behind. Why? Because when people are sick, they struggle to serve God, their families, their friends, their church, etc. Bad health cripples us from living full and active lives for the cause of Christ.
I was excited, but sought to seek my husband's approval. He had always been hesitant for me to get a job outside my already VERY busy life! I honestly didn't know if he would give his blessing.....but I wouldn't pursue this without it. 😉
I went down into his print shop and asked him if he would allow me to give Plexus a try......not only for the business side of it, but to help me lose a bit of weight and to have more energy to keep up with the many demands of my busy life. Also, both of my grandmothers had died from diabetic complications. I wanted to be pro-active in helping me NOT to follow in their foot steps. I also had gut issues and low energy. I wanted something to help me be the BEST version of me! 😁
After I asked my husband, he said, "Yes, you may try it. That sounds like a good fit for you." He also added, "I will purchase your FIRST month's worth of products, but after that, you are on your own!" Whoo-Hoo ! I was so excited! So, I went up, ordered the products for myself and joined! It was a HUGE step of faith, but I was excited!
David kept his word and bought the first month's supply of supplements for me, and since the second month (this was 7 ¹/² Years ago) I (from my Plexus paycheck each month) have purchased my OWN products! 🫠🤗🙂
Not only does it pay for all of my supplements, it pays for Christmas, birthdays, our vacations, and SO many other things. It helps "fill the gaps", since money is tight being in full time ministry. 😉 What a blessing Plexus has been! I absolutely LOVE that this is a company I can FULLY get behind. Their products are natural and put together in a premium, high-quality way! 🥰 There are MANY Christians in our company! 😄 I would NOT have peace partnering with a company that was not run with integrity and trust. Plexus does! They have blessed me and my family in so many ways! ❤️
Just this past February, they sent my husband and I on a all-inclusive paid trip to Punta Cana, DM. It was GORGEOUS! 😊
Not only has the extra income been a HUGE blessing, but I LOVE that this feels like (and is) an extension of our ministry. I pour into my team on a daily basis. I pray for them. I encourage them. I love them. I counsel them. We are best friends......outside my family, of course. This has given me more daily purpose and focus. It has blessed me with a community and network of DEAR friends I only drempt was possible. It is an active way to serve my sweet Jesus and others.
I am blessed. This journey has also helped me grow in SO many ways spiritually. This is a journey that fills me with SO many blessings that others cannot possibly understand, unless they have experienced it themselves.
Will YOU experience this with me? I am always looking for others to join me! There is ALWAYS room at our table for one more! 🥰
All Because of Jesus, Jill 😘
When you start with "I sat on my toilet" you know what's coming next.

I thought Jadis would mention where in her room the dossier is. It's still an incriminating file, so it can't be sitting around just willy nilly. Maybe the search for it will be a plot point, but she wasn't on her dying breath, so the lack of specification stood out.

Although Candiace still has the mouth, she had transformed herself this season. She had an inner peace. When she was sparring, she was expressing her facts, but it wasn't the viciousness she displayed in earlier seasons. First time I ever enjoyed watching her.

For some reason I thought this was the season finale. I know the fight wasn't filmed by production but I hope they do show what happened. It seemed like it was all instigated by Deborah.
Cell phone video is available on youtube. Amazing this happened 8 months ago. I vaguely remember reading about it then, but completely forgot about it.

I just need to mention that, as a viewer, I never need to tag along with Nneka and her husband to another jerk off doctor’s appointment again Ever.
She really doesn't like her husband. The way she looked him up and down and commented on his scrubs was lethal.
I don't know exactly how he was assisting for the insemination, but it seems he was holding the ultrasound wand. When the doctor declared the sperm were all in there, Nneke tells him "that means we are done, you have to stop". So as he is intently looking at the monitor, he says no, no baby don't move. Then she says "can you get out? Your job is done." She sounded so harsh and disdainful.

I have noticed that since our "traffic light" advisory, the number of posts has dropped. I know I'm nervous about posting comments for the most part as they might be screened incorrectly. Do you fellow posters feel the same way?
I noticed this discrepancy: Let's turn this 🔴Yellow Light to 💚Green by 4/1/24. We can do this!
I don't know if the red dot was called Yellow light initially, but that's what is posted now. I got criticized for comments I made after the red lights went up, but I still don't know what initially caused the disciplinary action since I hadn't read these forums for about 2 or 3 days prior. It's about as quiet as a nunnery here, so we will see.

I really enjoyed this episode. Lots of twists and everyone has a duality with concrete reasons. Great acting all around.

Since I created a season pass on my TiVo for this show, it picked up an episode on Thursday called Return. I don't know if the title is correct because the guide data can be wonky, but Danai and Andrew reminisce about their roles during the series, their departures and the completion of the story. It is really a remarkable little documentary and I don't think anyone here has mentioned it.

Oh my god, I was practically yelling this at the screen while he was monologueing before he even met up with plumber dude! So much stupidity in the first ten minutes🤦🏻♂️... Ugh🙄, I forgot simple gimple was showrunning this; my high hopes went straight out the 🤬ing window...it's a good thing I live on the ground floor🤣. It got better in the middle then it got stupid again at the end. For whatever reason and what it's worth, I found the south African actress much easier to understand than commander cloak and dagger until Rick kicked the cotton balls out of his mouth for a brief moment. What a shame he's dead now.😏
By the end of the show, I had the feeling the actor was either deaf or had a speech impediment. He did so many monologues that the cadence of his speech became really noticeable. That made me look at him speaking and I could see the effort he was putting into forming his words. I liked him though.

Given the sensitivity of the topic, and that it might be triggering to others here, perhaps it is best if we just let this go.
Thank you for you perspective and context for your orig post.

I get that. I was just trying to give thought to how we can be respectful of the heartbreak and choose our wording on such a topic with tact and gentleness.
But also the people involved in this heartbreak have their own show thread, so possibly it was more appropriate to post there where they are known.
I don't understand a news headline saying someone died being too harsh for this forum but appropriate for another forum.

Not a mod, but, in the past, this thread was reserved for talking about people who had actually appeared on one of the Duggar shows. For example, JRod and family attended at least one of the Duggar weddings; Jinger's I think. That's why she is discussed here. The sister wives, while they might be mentioned in the context of a post about someone who has appeared on this show; have never been on any of the Counting On incarnations; so this thread is not really a good place for news about them.
If you want to alert posters to news pertaining to other shows, you might want to go to small talk and simply tell people there is some sad news in the Sister Wives thread and let people decide if they're interested or not.
I haven't visited the Sister Wives thread for a long time so I wasn't going to research those threads. I saw the news headline this morning and noted members in this thread mentioned Janelle, very recently, in relation to Jill Rod's Plexus cruise. I posted here for posters here who might not have known.

I have never watched that show and have only a vague idea who this person is. Whether or not I know them personally, know of them, or have snarked about their family tv show, this is tragic and perhaps should be .... not sure the proper wording... posted more delicately, worded a bit more gentleness or something.
Also, yes it is in the wrong show thread.
I wasn't sure if the word suicide was still allowed on the forum, so I changed the word. I made the post as a response to someone mentioning of Janelle so there was a connection to this particular forum. Otherwise, I posted the headline as listed.

S1.E6 : The Last Time
in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
I'm so glad the theater thing didn't pan out. I can't imagine what unholy things were taking place in the room where they decided to make blockbuster films from this storyline.
