Stay home then. Your never ending traveling/grifting is not needed. Get a real job ma and pa grifters. Actually home school the kids. What losers. Bet they set up a separate donation box just for gas $.

These 2 piss me off too much.

No one said you need to travel and grift, ma’am!  Gas is 7.50 here in CA, so you get no sympathy from me (and I actually work) 🙄

A Reddit poster says that Jonathan's aunt left a positive message on Kaylee's Etsy shop. If so, Jon and Kaylee are probably still together.

I hope somebody made Jill keep quiet. Motormouth would wreck another relationship if left to her own devices.

Jill lied about the job and the apartment.

I reached with the surprise 😮option and realized sarcasm doesn’t reflect well there 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think people probably overthink the Santa thing. I did apparently resent being lied to about Santa in the moment. I don't remember this conversation with my dad, but apparently as a 5 year old, I demanded to know what else I'd been lied to about, which he found quite traumatizing as a parent. But I don't remember any of this, so I must have moved past it pretty quickly. LOL

Our son was PISSED when he found out Santa wasn’t real (from some kid at school).  As in, LIVID with us.  We received a lecture about how lying is bad and he’s not allowed to etc etc.  😂  Funny now, but omg it was a disaster at the time.

  4. Okay y’all, I mentioned the router situation to both my husband and son (adult).  They each looked at me as though I had a second head.  Therefore I explained the case briefly and that this was the defense witness’s argument.  Husband rolled his eyes and son put his head in his palm 😂.   Might have told them that my expectation is that they check with router the next time I run into an issue.

  5. IMO Eddie is in no way ready to take the next step in management as “First Officer”.  It is abundantly clear  with each episode.  He went into this wanting to hang out with Captain Lee in the bridge.  His decision making is terrible and it’s clear he has a long way to go before he can manage a team.

Day'un was the reason for moving there (special program at the university for students on the spectrum), but he's long since dropped out, so no longer any legit reason to stay there...besides orneriness!

He dropped out??  I missed that somehow.  How many years did he finish?

Uh , no. Not odd at all. When the kids were small we lived on both Maui and Oahu for a couple of years .It was common knowledge that the last day of school was known as "kill a haole" day and the white kids especially blonde or redheaded had best stay home. This attitude was present all during the school year amongst a certain element.

And that doesn't mean there aren't wonderful warm non-  prejudiced people all over. But a portion of Hawaii's population -esp Native people-  do resent the "invaders". Some say " children of Cook" the same way some mainland Natives use "son/daughters of Columbus" as a derisive. There are groups who make no secret they wish to gain back independence from the US.

I love Hawaii. My best friend since 17 has lived there since 1973. And I've always had the senses of it being a foreign country. Caucasians are only one third of the population and it does feel different if you live there and not just visit / vacation.

Most who become residents do experience tests of a sort for awhile (a couple of years sometimes) to prove character and worthiness. And if you pass there's no warmer, kinder, more loyal people who embrace you fully as family. But it doesn't come immediately or that easily.

& children everywhere can be cruel to each other. Heathers experience isn't odd or surprising at all...

Well said!  I spent a month there on business and was warned that Islanders don’t always care for  “light hair and fair skin” folks like me.  I really didn’t run into too many issues though.   Love Hawaii!
