I live in NC. Is Janelle a concealed carry permit holder? I know you can look it up somehow by county, I am not inclined to do so right now. If not, she is illegally concealing a gun in her car. Open carry would mean the gun was plain sight on the seat. To get a permit is an all day class followed by written exam and firearm target shooting. My test was 50 questions and you have to have some smarts to remember the info and pass test. After you complete class you visit county sherif office for application paperwork and fingerprints.  I remember questions about felonies, misdemeanors and mental health. How would Janelle be approved for a CCP?  First words to the officer should have been (with hands clearly in sight) "I am a CCP holder and have a firearm here in my vehicle."

I thought JC handled the initial convo with Bay quite well. His analogies were spot on. He was not saying it to be offensive, nor was it directed at her or another person. Once she heard that word tho she refused to follow the dialogue. All 3 of the offending words were on same plane, very offensive and derogatory. She asked him a ? about the m-word. He didn't get upset but tried to tell her what that equates too. He tried to connect his answer to her brain. I thought Bay seemed ignorant and dumb.

I like this family too.  I get an anxiety attack just watching the show because of all the noise, busy-ness and MESSES! I had twins and a singleton in 3 yrs. I thought I was organized.  To keep your sanity you have to be controlling over all the little things, it's the only way to maintain some order. If you let up for a day, the mess and chaos will overwhelm you. Trust me it's a very busy life, and theirs is double what I had! I admire Danielle and hubby ( can't recall his name!) for keeping a bright and happy perspective. Whatever their faults, they are tiny compared to raising their girls with such love and nurturement. I don't worry about this family being ok.

Maybe I am just gullible but I think Amy seems pretty darn happy and content. I am glad for her. Everyone deserves to find happiness. She doesn't bother me as some people seem so put off by her. I admire her adventuresome spirit.

Mack will not enjoy climbing in and out of that monster truck. Even with running board it's a really big step up or down. I know as we have one. I love it once I am in but the step up/down is not comfortable.

I am not an Amber fan but want to say she looked very nice. She seemed calm, lucid and genuinely happy. I would not have known she was 8mo preg, she did seem thin in her face and shoulders.  I don't agree with her thought process on many things but she looked good. If NewMatt wants to marry before baby born why not?  I don't understand how flippant these women are when it comes to getting pregnant by random dates but then marrying the baby daddy is such a difficult decision!!

Cate needs a breast reduction. She cannot be comfortable like that. Maci looked 40yrs old. Actually so did Cate.

It's so obvious that Cate looks at Nova and all she thinks of is Carly and what coulda woulda shoulda.  She doesn't seem to have any maternal love or nurture towards Nova at all. I have seen babysitters interact with more compassion and love. Cate doesn't smile at Nova or do any affection that's not perfunctory. Very strange detachment to her own daughter. My sons are adults and I still get giddy to visit with them and hug them long and tight. Sure seems like Cate doesn't want to live that life around those who really know her. She prefers starting over with a new life and new people that do not know all her dirty laundry. She is not interested in self help. She just wants to erase her past and be someone new. She can't be around Tyler cuz there's no faking it, he sees thru her and knowing this makes her feel sh*tty about herself.  It's far easier to just run away. She is a very selfish and narcissistic person. 

 

Ryan's family is completely delusional if they think he is sober. He is just gross. How Mack could be near him with all that crud in his mouth and his nasty attitude to even think about sexy time confounds me.  Geesh, good luck to them. I see a huge heartbreak coming straight at everyone associated with that loser.

I have tiny veins and fair skin. Any blood draw leaves my arm looking like K's or worse. It's not a bruise from impact where your muscle hurts, it's just blood leaked from the vein pooling under the skin. On me, it doesn't hurt at all, just looks very bad for a week.

I am going to sound heartless, but it seems to me Catelynn has some kind of issue that she needs constant sympathy, attention and pity. If she starts to live just a normal life she freaks out and needs to have a meltdown so all attention is back on her.  I was 6mo pregnant when my baby was dx with anencephaly. I had to go to the hospital for a late term abortion, which is actually induced labor at 6mo along.  You can look up details if you need them, baby would have died moments after birth or stillborn. Talk about grief.  So imo C n T need to cry about their loss, revel in their blessings and get on with their family's life.  This show is harming almost everyone involved.

I find I like Javi more after this show. He is a good dad and seems to be a good friend to many. He is boring but so am I!  I like drama-free living and so does my husband, nothing wrong with that.

[S07.E05: HIGH HOPES]

If I were Brandon and Teresa, after seeing C & T's comments and behaviors these last few years I would cut off all contact and move so they cannot contact my family again. There is something very dark, mean and resentful with how C & T view B & T.  Carly understands she is adopted. Anything else she needs to know can come from her parents when they deem appropriate.  I see no possible way that Carly being exposed to these nasty people can be a positive in her life. And how extremely awkward for an 8yo to have to "visit" with these 2 strangers that think they know her plus her bio sister????  Just ewww. 

What does poor Leah think about why her mom has only seen her a few times the entire summer?? How Leah can be so happy and well adjusted speaks volumes to Gary and Kristina. Kudos to them. 

Hudson is a really cute boy. 

Bentley should not be punished by Maci withholding visits from his grandparents.  No harm will come to B while at Jen and Larry's.

I made 6 batches of Ina's Pumpkin Spice cupcakes over the TG week.  Used as giveaways for neighbors, friends and work potluck. This recipe is fabulous. So easy, extremely moist and very tasty cakes with yummy frosting. Highly recommend!!!

Cheers to TLC for finding another nice family. I don't blame them for trading privacy for several hundred thousand dollars. They surely need income. I had premie twins years ago so I am relating to them. The NICU is such an anxious place but you feel your tiny babies are so safe and protected there, then you bring them home and it's frightening.  I think the parents have a genuinely good r'ship.  I am so rooting for this fam.  Hope online communities don't get busy tearing them up.

Trent handled the mouthy kids at the ride park so well.  What a genuinely nice man and great father. I really do think his interaction with those kids about the M word sunk in, and his manner was just so kind and respectful without being demeaning and angry. I like this family a whole bunch.
