  1. Well, that was a finale. I did enjoy finally getting more of Milo and Mike together, though I have no idea how that last scene with Tati was supposed to be - I guess Milo's not dead? He got off the boat and made it explode to fake his own death? Who knows. Lots of things in place for S3: Kyle is set on a dark path. Bunny is set up for war on the police, which doesn't seem like one he has any chance at winning. When Bunny's crew inside killed the AB leader - is that a favor to Mike? Or is Mike doing a Bunny a favor by making it happen? Who knows. Kareem has absolutely separated himself from Mike, and as the warden, that's a big deal. We have the prison admin vs Mike vs all the convicts and Bunny's crew vs the cops and Bunny's crew vs the AB and I guess the Mexicans are just not a factor at the moment? I'm guessing Robert will pull through, and I assume Miriam will as well, though her house has been shot to shit. It would really depend on if Sheridan actually wants to give Miriam a decent storyline next season. And Iris led Milo to Mike's house? Damn.
  2. Well that was an interesting, if odd episode. Has Bunny ever expressed any interest in Robert like, ever? Enough to trade an assload of guns for him? Also I guess I was off on all of my predictions ever. Mike had no idea Bunny was out, doesn't know anything anyone is doing. I am kind of loving his relationship with Ian and Stevie, like the legit keystone cops over here. Come on, Ian. People are gonna figure it out, lmao. I love his little shuffle, looking down to the ground when Mike is grilling Robert. Also Robert is soooooooo offended Mike would think he would kill a rat! How dare he! Also I LOVE that Robert has a son that does ballet. Like everything they reveal about Robert (which, granted, this is like the only thing) makes me more invested, lmao. I did do a fist-pump at Iris killing Joseph. I mean, granted, she's in super deep now, and LMAO Joseph has existed only to get beat up by Mike and now killed by Iris, how the fuck did he become Milo's right hand???? I am super interested in what's coming next, and I liked Kyle trying to get square on the Mike/Iris relationship. The scene with Mike & Milo was underwhelming; it feels like they really wasted Aidan Gillen. If we get a S3, I'm guessing we'll get more from the leader at the private prison, who now has Mike owing her a favor, and the 'war' with the DA that is now on. Interesting end to Miriam's storyline, if this is the end - I was not expecting the kid to do what he did. At least Mike went to tell her in person. If he hadn't taken his day off, he might've gotten the kid moved in time. I did enjoy seeing Bunny actually doing some crime, lol. I'm guessing we're looking at another war with the cops and Bunny's crew, probably going into S3, if they do another one.
  3. This episode was fantastic! I feel like I've been waiting all season for it. Mike had a plan. He knew Bunny was getting out, and he knew multiple people were going to be looking for him probably b/c Bunny got out and because Kyle roughed up the guard. I'm not sure what he was thinking about the keys, but he was waiting to get picked up. He ran into Allison, who I'm assuming was married to an AB guard, and who tipped off the ABs in the morning. It was all very conveniently timed, with her not calling them until the morning, but the tension behind it was good enough that I'll forgive it. I also remember when Renner posted the video footage of them filming his roll over the car on his IG stories - it was something about the recoup time with filming those scenes. FINALLY Iris's storyline is moving along. We see part of why Milo hasn't killed her, she brings in too much $$$. And we see more of how much of a lapdog Joseph is. And we get Milo and Mike TOGETHER next episode, though no one still not knowing where Mike when Milo picked him up doesn't make me feel great. Hopefully Milo is a better fighter than Joseph. I felt real bad for Bunny's friend he was leaving in prison. I like the character/actor; I hope we get to see him again. The scene with Charlie was everything I loved about S1. The build up over multiple episodes where we're like 'WHERE TF is this going' reminded me of Eugene. Ian proving his worth was great, and how it blew up in his face in the end was also very Ian, lmao. I can't wait to see how Mike deals with that fall out. I did like Kyle rolling up to Bunny. We're definitely seeing more paths being laid in regards to Kyle working more with Mike in his business in the future. I also did like Bunny calling out Kyle being coked up, though he was at some of his least manic, I thought. The women in this show really are set aside, but that's also part of how this world is. I hope we get to see more out of the madam in the future. I don't know what's going on with Miriam and Jake and his transfer; I'm guessing something for Miriam to get upset at Mike about? She sure is way more sugary sweet than S1, though that change can happen after almost losing both her sons in the riot. They just haven't really set much of that groundwork to show that is where her change of heart has come from, I don't feel. I'm REALLY excited about the last two episodes. I don't know if paramount extended their episode order which resulted in the long, drawn-out, short eps we've had up to here, but I'm hyped now.
  4. I don't know what is going on with this show. This episode was just over a half-hour, but hey we got almost every woman in the same episode! Was just missing Rebecca. Normally I would say Mike being away from his phone at the end was very ominous, but the way this show has been going, he was probably just in the bathroom. We have three episodes left and I have zero idea where this is gonna go, and as the season goes on, I'm caring less and less. Instead of feeling like the plot is building, it feels like it's being strung along. And so much shit is happening due to coincidence. Mike just 'happens' to drive by the Blacks and the AB meeting up, and he puts that fire out and is reminded Bunny's cousin wants to fuck him. Then he just 'happens' to drive up to the prison by the guy flying the drone. Then Kyle just 'happens' to see Iris out and about working. At least Iris is starting to realize she fucked up. And where is Ian's storyline going?? I am wondering if it's all gonna connect, or if these plotlines are all going to just meander off into the distance, like the rest of this season...
  5. I think it was a throwback to S1 as well - an inmate asked Miriam about her son, and she was very much like DO NOT ASK ME ABOUT MY SON. And her robbery has made her have a change of heart regarding that.
  6. Stuff is happening! Bunny moved the hit on Mike to the DA? Damn. Mike really fucked over Evelyn, but now that her boss is dead, guess it doesn't matter. Though I'm sure that will make waves Mike isn't prepared to deal with. Mike also really threw Evelyn's assistant under the bus. You don't need to tell her how you found her! I swear it seems like there's a quota of women that can have in each episode. If we glimpse Rebecca, we don't get any Iris. Hopefully at this point Bunny will get out of prison and we can move on to whatever is next. Kyle's plot sure is moving fast. I know people can spiral pretty quickly, but seems like they should have let this play longer than the few weeks of S2. I'm surprised Miriam didn't call Kyle out on his inebriation, but I guess she has too much softness for her youngest. I did really enjoy the scene at the guards house between Mike and the guard. I knew Kyle was going to bust up in there, but seeing Mike actually handle shit is what we need to see, and less the intense promises he made Bunny's cousin that he would handle shit. I don't know what was going on with these middle episodes, but hopefully things will pick up now.
  7. OH MY GOD we got a resolution to the "Did Milo mean to send MIke after the bus?" question. And damn, poor Pete. I'm guessing that by sending his wife home, Mike sent her to her death. This season doesn't feel as fluid as season one. Mike is losing more control as the season goes on; I hope he gets his family out, though I'm sure his mom will refuse to go. I am NOT happy about Rebecca being missing. Does someone already have her? Kyle has a point; he could help Mike with his full waiting room. I hope he gets more of a storyline than nagging at Mike. A lot of repetition this episode from the past week.
  8. I have NO idea why they would raid Bunny's families residence after this! Unless they have it in for Mike?? That was idiotic. It looks like someone on Mike's family is going to be in the crosshairs by mid-season - I was pretty sure that either Iris or Evelyn wouldn't make it out of this season alive, but it could be Mike's mom. Who knows, but he's going to take a hit in some way. Oh, Kyle. You quit! It's interesting they take him out of Kingstown for all of two episodes, only to shove him back in like this. I am wondering what kind of trouble he's going to get himself into while he's 'going crazy' for something to do. And Iris... right back where she started. I'm not sure what the deal is with Tati, if she's trying to set up Mike, working for Milo or truly worrying about Iris, but will be an interesting ride. I lol'ed when Mike, again, got the advantage of Joseph not once, but twice. Dude cannot fight for shit. Also that scene with Mike, Ian, and Stevie was hilarious. "we were fucking so fucking respectful." They were all having temper tantrums. I liked seeing Bunny dominate and show us how he got where he is, but damn. I love their 'friendship' and do not want to see that respect fall away, but I get where they're all coming from. I wish Mike could get his family out of there, but I know that's not happening.
  9. I totally agree - Sheridan does well at writing strong women, but he almost always writes them as, at some point, needing to be rescued by a man. I love Rebecca (btw shout out to Mike's call to her as amazing lmao), and was wondering where they would go with Evelyn back in S1, so I'm hoping MoK has the ladies stepping up and dealing with things w/o having to be rescued.
  10. This was great! I really love the relationship between the McKLusky's - even Miriam, as soon as she heard Iris was caught in the crossfire, accepted what they were doing. It made me wonder how many people her husband put up for safety during his time. Although Miriam seems way less intelligent than I feel she should be, with all the years she's spent in Kingstown and around it's residents - she seemed surprised that Iris jetted. And Iris man, she broke my heart. When she sat down next to Milo, the same way she did next to Mike towards the end of S1, it was gutting. I get it, she feels wanted nowhere, has no idea what to do, doesn't trust the FBI or anyone (Mike gave her back to them) and goes to the man she knows wants her/will protect her - it's stupid as fuck, but I get it. It's compelling TV, and I'm guessing there isn't gonna be a romance b/w Mike & Iris. When Mike was talking to Evelyn, I was wondering if they were setting up a triangle with Evelyn/Mike/Iris, but I don't think so now. From how much we've seen Evelyn this season, I definitely think she's gonna be a bigger player this season in terms of the plot. I am also wondering if she'll survive the season - I think either she or Iris will bite it, and be a catalyst for Mike doing something. And man, when Mike brought in Bunny and he was arrested! Dude. I do not see this working out well for you, Mike. Bunny is the ONLY leader that seems able to see reason, and he does not seem like the type to forgive and forget. Poor Kyle. I had to laugh, because poor Kyle, lol. He just can't escape Kingstown. Also whatever happened to those bodies in the bus? Are those gonna come back around?
  11. Mike said earlier he was going to make them dinner in the galley - so I would assume there was probably food she could eat in there the next day. I'm fine with Mike & Iris or Mike/Iris, but given Sheridan's MO, I would be shocked if they remain platonic in the end game, particularly since last season we saw Mike yearning for a fulfilling romantic relationship (like his attempt at a date with the DA). And that whole "I try not to listen to my heart," line. That said, ya never know, he could find what he needs in helping Iris find a new life (though I doubt she'll accept it, even if Milo gets taken down).
  12. I think Iris is a fan of pretending - when she was on that boat, she could pretend her life was different. I did love how Mike let her have her way, and then got pissed at himself as he left, lmao.
  13. Great opener. Not sure how much time has passed, but maybe just a few days? Almost 200 people dead, that is insane. I'm honestly surprised there wasn't more presence from the National Guard. Interesting how they're hiding the shooting location change - I laughed at how we didn't go back to Bunny's front yard, and instead he's on a random rooftop. The back walk-up to Mike's office clearly isn't the same, but close enough. I wonder if we'll get back to the cabin at all. I am very interested in Kareem's storyline - he is in a shitty place, because all he's known is being a guard. He could join that lawsuit, but that would be changing everything he knows for no promise of a payday - so instead he goes back in, keeps his pension, and gets his revenge. Also, not sure what Miriam thought she was going to accomplish with her class - she assumed the guards would listen to her, but she is definitely not in that same prison anymore. She has to get used to this new normal like everyone does, and I think her actions with the young robber will definitely come back to bite her in the ass - I wonder if she'll be killed at some key point and make Mike/Kyle lose their shit. LOVE what they're doing with Kyle. The boat maple syrup bust and Kyle going off on the other guard - amazing. I REALLY hope Kyle keeps his ass up-state, but we know that he's gonna wind up back in Kingstown sooner rather than later. Also I'm sure the pigeons will come back - drug-smuggling pigeons into the tents?? Why not!
  14. I'm soooooooooooooooooo irritated with this month-long break. Mayor of Kingstown starts on Jan 15, so I'm guessing we'll get 4 episodes of that, finish up 1923, and then finish up MoK. I enjoy both of these shows, so if I have to wait for each episode, at least GIVE THEM TO ME ALL IN A ROW. Or just let them both come out on the same day! There are no time slots! It's all streaming! I'm guessing they're doing it this way due to the streaming revenue, so people don't cancel while waiting for 1923 to come back, but grrrrrrrrr. This last episode was the best yet, I loved finding out more about the Dutton's through Cara's letters.
  15. Amazon Prime tried to shuffle me to something else before this last scene - I had to click it away and let it finish the episode. That may have happened to you.
