  1. First time watching James. How little self esteem does Lisa have to put up with this?  I feel even when James dies she will find another abusive man. I would take a baseball bat to that loathsome SOB. There is no man on this earth worth wiping his ass especially one who has gotten so fat that he shits himself.  And one who expects her to sleep on the floor cause he might need something? Oh baby, let me around him for five minutes.

I wasn’t a Sherry fan, but green apple and coffee?  She was doomed from the get go.  Who on earth would willingly pour green apple syrup in their coffee?  I’m trying to imagine what she could possibly make that would have worked.

Totally agree. Whoever got the green apple was set up for failure. I would never ever pick green apple or even blackberry flavoring for coffee.

Apparently I am the only one who loves this show with it's f*cked up characters. I can't wait for season two. But then I love Animal Kingdom too.

It took me a while to find this particular forum or I'd have been here sooner.

I'll be here for season 2.

  4. Just when I think I could not loathe Beth anymore - well she never disappoints. I was so hoping someone in the campaign office would punch her out. She would screw a snake is someone held it still.

Kayce has turned from the supposedly nice guy with scruples to a monster. I am tending to be on Team Jamie at this point. The mole reporter in the campaign office was a surprise.

That bunkhouse is going to be a lot of fun - not!

  5. I am hoping Jaime breaks from his family, wins the race and goes on to give them hell. Guess Beth was wrong about him being gay. Look on his face when she made a move on him was a little heartbreaking. Poor guy has been tied up by his father his whole life  and never been shown love or affection. I loathe Beth and her bad wig.

As shitty as a person John Dutton is I like Kevin Costner in this role. Just watched No Way Out again. Yowser!

Wondering if new guy in the bunkhouse is a mole.

  6. Poor Dan Jenkins. Not only does he have to deal with psycho Beth but his crazy ass wife as well. I see bad days ahead for him.  Looks like the ranch hands come from the college of hard knocks. Still enjoy the scenes with John and his grandson. At least John sees Beth for what she really is.

  7. I really am intrigued about the "Y" brand and the meaning behind it.  Evidently a person is untouchable that has it. Wondering if Jimmy is actually a family member and doesn't know it. Beth continues to be one of the most unlikeable characters ever for me.  I actually enjoyed the interaction between John and his grandson. They clearly adore each other.

  8. Kayce breaks horses for a living.  Beth has to be one of the most unlikeable, irritating characters ever.  I loved it when her brother finally punched her out. As the guy in the bar said as he saw her damaged face - "thinking you probably deserved it".  Also mom who died was pretty nasty too. No big loss there.

  9. I am anxious to know the reason characters are branded with the "Y". I guess we are to assume out of loyalty to John Dutton and the Yellowstone Ranch. Hopefully things are never as they seem and it's for some other reason - and that's a big ass brand. Even livestock don't have brands that large!

  10. I'm in but the first episodes of new series is usually the worst episode for me - it has to set up so many characters and storylines. I watched mostly for Kevin Costner and the scenery. One thing - Beth's bangs are going to drive me crazy (hair bangs - not the ones on the dresser). Anxious to see John's relationship with the Governor.

  11. I mentioned Gentner Drummond running for OK Attorney General. Did a little more snooping. He is a Tulsa attorney who just happens to own a large family inherited ranch in - wait for it - Osage County. His first name Gentner is the maiden name of the woman who married Fred Drummond who migrated from Scotland and settled in Osage County. You can bet he will defeat the current AG as the name Drummond will get him most of his votes.  He is all over the tv with his high priced political ads. Will be interesting to see if he uses Ree in any of his ads. It's about to be Drummondhoma ya'll.

  12. The Osage Reservation is still south  of Pawhuska. North is the 30,000 acre Tallgrass Prairie Preserve filled with buffalo, many other species of wildlife, birds. From May thru June it is filled with wild flowers . You  can drive through and it is still untouched and quite beautiful.  So the Drummonds I believe have most of their land in that area to the east. Everything else is federally protected. I believe that besides Kansas they own a lot of land in southeast Oklahoma.

  13. All the tv stations here in the OKC area featured the opening of the "boarding house"  the past few days and said it was booked through April. But seriously it's just eight rooms to fill up and if people were coming to the merc it wouldn't take that long. Next up for the metropolis of Pawhuska - Ree is opening a steakhouse and a pizza parlor this fall.

Then there is a guy running for State Attorney General here in Ok with the name of Gentner Drummond - he's riding a horse in his campaign ads - has to be "kinfolk".

Co-defendant Carlos Ortiz said (after Aaron’s trial but before his own) that Aaron and Odin were the only two that got out of the car at the industrial park and only Aaron came back.

Prior to Odins murder, Aaron also shot another ‘friend’ in the eye at an industrial park in FL. But Alex Bradley refused to press charges or cooperate with the police, although I think he tried later to sue Aaron.

I thought the 2 episode show was really good. Much better than James Patterson’s book on the case, which I didn’t like at all. I still don’t like Baez, although I did agree with him about the gay thing and the talk show hosts and reporter. And I didn’t like the inference that just because he may have had CTE, he could just go around killing people. And he was allegedly trouble w/the law in Florida during his college years so I don’t know why the NFL would get all the CTE blame anyways. I guess the NFL just has the deeper pockets.

I do wonder what the fiancé is doing now. Just living on the rest of his money?  Still fighting w/the Patriots for all his back money?  Still living in that house?

Oh I also really liked the college girlfriend who said she wasn’t going to sit around being an NFL wife. Unlike Shayanna, who may have loved him, but let him running around doing whatever he wanted with whatever woman.

The fiancé was allowed to sell the house and received 1 mil for it. She moved to Rhode Island and evidently has no contact with Aaron's family or her's. She legally changed her daughter's name to Hernandez.

I watched the Aaron Hernandez special last night and didn't realize how little I knew about the whole thing. But I feel like they glossed over the fiancee and her involvement, I seem to remember a lot of controversy around her. I also didn't realize her sister was dating Odin Lloyd, yikes.

And I hated myself but I agreed with Jose Baez on that bitch blonde reporter and the idiot radio guys who made jokes on air about Hernandez possibly being gay. He was right, who the hell were they to have done that?

If I could have reached through the tv and punched that blonde bitch reporter I would have done so. What a vile human being. Good show - I also learned a lot. He got life and his two accomplices got much lighter sentences tho no one knew who actually fired the gun. I don't understand that.
