As a busty woman myself, I can say that if Joy's boobs are already that big early in the pregnancy they will be huggggge by the time her milk comes in (my own were like 2 massive torpedoes!)

  2. Ok, this is the cranky old cynical me speaking. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Derick is only doing the C3 thing and the 1 yr study program in an attempt to gain a missionary commission from Cross church. After SOS dumped him Derick must be desperate to get back to the mission field and his interpretive dance. Plus, if he's busy 'studying' and running a college youth group there will be no time for him to GET A REAL JOB.

  3. Does anyone else remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets fired from an office job he doesn't actually work at? ("But i don't actualIy work here. I know, that's what makes this so hard!') Once the college students get sick of the Dullard's bs (and we all know they will) ministry enrollment will drop & the church will be saying 'thanks but no thanks' lol

Poor little thing sure as hell didn't ask to be born into that clusterfuck of a family.

Yup. Can you imagine the m & m's kids' horror when they are old enough to Google their dad's name? Good luck explaining that Anna - 'No honey, it wasn't daddy molesting his own sisters and trolling for p*ssy. It was satan subletting a fortress in daddy's heart.'

Well, we don't know whether they were any good at it or horrible at it or something in between, but I think that this really is similar to a lot of what they did in their "missionary" position. SOS is mostly a missioncation business -- and many if not most of the missioncationers are students and 20-somethings, I'm pretty sure. The interpretive dance, for example, was the exact same interpretive dance that's been done on many's the college retreat. So I think you could easily argue that this may be one of the few kinds of jobs that Derick at least has a bit of experience of.

Cross Church is in Fayetteville, right? and that's U. of Arkansas. So I'm sure the church recruits the campus heavily. So it may be a program big enough to need a fair number of workers of various sorts, perhaps?

Dreck's new 'ministry' has TLC plot line written all over it. The producers needed some new storyline for the Dullards now that SOS kicked them to the curb. I'm betting this 'ministry' will figure prominently in the new season.

I don't get how that works either. Jill is relatively tall at 5'7", Jana and Jessa are short and pear-shaped, Jinger is thin as a rail and Joy is voluptuous. How in the hell did they manage to share clothes between them for all those years? No wonder everything looked misshapen and stretched out when there were four different body types trying to share one denim skirt.

I think you've answered your own question - everything looks like stretched out rags on the Duggar girls.

Btw, they still shared clothes as recently as Joy's engagement photo. I absolutely remember Jana wearing the polka-dot dress/cardigan combo first.

  7. I took the Domino's and ribs pics as Internet FUs and damage control.  'See, Derick isn't sick and he does eat, why he even eats pizza and ribs. And Jill hasn't had a nervous breakdown. She's just fine, smiling and fine. No problems here....'

    Guess I'm cynical by nature.

I'm actually a little surprised that they bought a house in Laredo.  Their church is tiny and it doesn't appear to be a very financially affluent group of people attending there. I figured their church would eventually fizzle out or they would need to get a Spanish speaking minister to increase membership. Guess that means that they are hanging their hat in Laredo for a while.

It also seems that Jeremy was paying his own rent on the apartment.  It is very common for the church (Or the church planter church) to pay minister's rent.  if Jeremy was paying his own rent, it would make sense to buy a house and pay a mortgage instead.

Or Jinger (and Jeremy) saved their money from TLC and paid cash?

In any scenario, buying the house is a positive thing!

Jin/Jer could have put a sizable house down payment courtesy of TLC & People mag $. If so, the monthly mortgage payment might be close to or even less than rent on the apartment. I would love to think this is Jer's way of giving Boob the middle finger regarding returning to  Dodge. Also, I'm sure its burning Jessa that her younger sister owns a 4br house while she's still stuck at grandma's 2br mold house. Haha.

Just my opinion, but I think Jill had PPD that went undiagnosed and untreated. I also think growing up with Michelle gave her unrealistic expectations of motherhood and the reality was a huge let-down. As for Derick, Izzy robbed him of that carefree time most couples experience before having children and put a crimp in his missioncation plans. There just seems to be an undercurrent of hostility in that household.

I think Jill expected the same attention  and adoration MEchelle got when she was pregnant. What Jill failed to realize is that the attention/adoration didn't come from MEchelle's own siblings. It came from MEchelle's children and not until she pumped out at least 6-8 kids.

Also, MEchelle had to raise her own kids for the first few years until the sister moms were ready. Jill acts like she should  be able to have a kid, then dump him/her off on everyone else just like mom did.

I hate Joe's stupid heaven or hell tee shirt!

Now, is Kendra's skirt really appropriate for fair rides?

Oh nevermind.  I see bike shorts underneath the skirt!

Yes she appears to be wearing bike shorts or something. Still a hellava lot of knee & thigh on display. Is this hussy temptress really the one Joe wants to share this super special season of life with?

The Duggars have very loose definitions of friendship. Back in the original series they claimed the Bateseseses were their "best friends" even though they hadn't seen them in years prior to TLC arranging a meeting.

I doubt Austin and Joy had a close friendship growing up. They're way too awkward for me to believe they knew each other that well. The Duggars sold Joy off like a piece of livestock. Framing it as "it's no biggie because they've known each other forever and are super duper besties" is their way of deflecting criticism.

Agreed. In the Duggar universe the term 'friend' seems to indicate 'someone who I noticed breathing next to me'. 'Best friend' is for when they actually know that person's name.

So Joyless will be getting a brand new house better than Jessa or Jinger got.

I think after the initial shock, I think Joy will be better off than her sisters because Austin will make sure that she has a good life and has skills that will carry him through life vs the "minister" husbands.

We thought Derick had the 'skills' to carry Jill and him through life and look how wrong we were. Sucked into the Duggar grifting vortex within months.

Maybe the colors are fall because it was supposed to be a fall wedding that got moved up for...reasons...

I kinda thought that too. This wedding just screams 'rush job' with its sloppy thrown together look.

Joy being pregnant wouldn't be the only reason to move a wedding up though. JB might be desperate for TLC material or perhaps another Duggar bomb is about to drop and he wanted Joy married  before that happens. Even Joe waiting in the wings w/his child bride could have pushed the wedding earlier. Guess we'll have to wait & see what developes.

Joy: "Austin, where did the sun go?"

But really...big lawsuit coming up, what a time to get married. "Oh, by the way, everyone's gonna be talking about my sexual molestation as a child. Don't worry, we'll probably get rich off it."

Austin: "Joy, the world is flat; it falls off the edge, of course".

Hmm rental home they could no longer pay for and got kicked out of? Jill has internet but her kids go hungry on the stink bus. Makes perfect sense.

We ordered Chinese food tonight for dinner when it occurred to me, the amount ordered for our small family of 3 is probably more food than those poor 12 Rodriquez kids get at any meal, ever, including birthdays, Christmas & Thanksgiving. The parents obviously stuff their faces while the children are 'encouraged' to fast. Encouraged, my ass. Disgusting.
