Was it the same house that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stayed in when they went to Aspen?

I don't know but it's a lot more luxurious than the Aspen house they stayed in on Salt Lake City.  And OC didn't have to take a sprinter van to get there.  Can you imagine Heather in a sprinter van?

How much did the guest Tyler drink in order for him to have passed out into a “coma” at dinner.  At one point I was thinking it was a scene from Weekend at Bernies’s and a nanosecond after that Captain Glen remarked Weekend at Parsifal. Touché Captain Glen!

    Me too!

This is the sequel to "The Trouble With Angels" starring Hayley Mills...and I think The Trouble With Angels the better of the two films...Rosalind Russell is a standout in both...in the first she explains to Hayley Mills why she became a nun when she'd been a seamstress for a famous couturier in Paris with the goal of her own collection...she simply stated "I found something better"...

Love the Trouble with Angels. One of my favorite movies.  Just looked up the book .  It's mega bucks on Amazon. Like 99 dollars for paperback!

  4. Why does Heather lead Terry through the house like he'll get lost if she doesn't show him the way?

There's no way that Heather went to a KFC and bought chicken. She had a minion do it for her.  But it was probably an empty bucket.  Can't see her h!andling chicken fillled greasy one.

Jen's presentation reminded me of the pharmaceutical dinners I've attended about different cancer drugs and the research done.  Except we get to sit at a table and eat while the speaker talks.  They had food, but did not see many people able to sit down. I'm a nurse and it's hard to concentrate listening to all the statistics presented at the dinners.  I bet it's even harder for a lay person to stand and try to concentrate.   Oh, and she's selling snake oil, not life saving cancer drugs.

At this point, Shane is my favorite house wife!

It looked like Ashley wasn't into Tom until Gabriella had her butt in his face.  Girl has a competitive streak.

Also, Gabriella is stuningly beautiful.  Ashley is just ordinary. She's probably jealous of that.

At least the other guests refused to pay for the sofa when it was Cindy that got the tanner on it.  Glad they stood their ground.

  6. I hate when people state they are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. No, if you did it, you did it. Just haven't been found guilty in court yet.

Jen had really taught Coach Shah how to lie. Didn't believe a thing he said.  And did she say he went to law school?  Hope she wasn't taking his legal advise.

Well, the show was cancelled right?  Attempting to do the exact same thing but 12 years later when people care even LESS about cable TV wouldn't make much sense.  But I agree, it's too ridiculous as it is now and I don't think anyone wants to see fictionalized cases of news events that just happened every week.

Right, that's why it felt so clunky.  If he was found not guilty, he walks away, and there is also no motivation.  At least with a guilty verdict he's trapped in one place!  Also, it's a damn guilty verdict!

I kept waiting for him to be found not guilty and going to Florida and killing himself in a swamp.

Exactly. There's something to be said for choosing real-life launching points that didn't *just* happen and taking your time to transform them into interesting on-screen stories. 'Ripped from the headlines' doesn't have to be 'ripped from hot off the press.'

I think maybe because the attention span of people today is so short that the producers grab the story lines to use before the story leaves people's memories.  It also helps to get those who followed Gabby's case closely to watch the show.

I did not care for the acting of the woman who played  Amanda's mother.

All the talk about the cassoulet makes me think this show needs to offer up some recipes. Last episode was a contest between Dee and Vi's pancakes. I'd also like to know the recipe for Aunt Vi's beignets because I remember mentions of those. Ms. Li's bakery also looked amazing. The show knows how to do food and clothes.

The Equalizer Cookbook.  Recipes from the show and the cast's personal recipes.  I'd buy it!

Gina was dressed like Heather in every scene.  It is really sad how she thinks they are besties now.

That's because Heather sent Gina a dress code which also included a look book for the trip.  I noticed Heather, Gina and the twins all had on bright white sneakers at one point. With black outfits.

3 hours ago, Mahamid Frauded Me said:

Well I also think this trip was also due to the fact that both Heather and Gina were on an episode of Project Runway, all ties in for timing quite well

As someone else said, it was Shannon and Gina.  Don't remember seeing Heather at Fashion Week on the finale, but I bet she was there.

Did anyone notice in the pictures show of Heather and her mother, that her mother was wearing a tiara in Heather's wedding picture?  She was probably the type of mother of the bride that had to try to upstage her daughter. I also thought Gina's parents were very lovely people. It even seemed like Heather's uncle was given Heather's mother the side eye at one point.  Did not hear if the couple was from Heather's mother or father's side of the family.  If father's side then they probably have lots of stores about Heather's mother's snobbery. She reminds me of my mother in law.

TripTiks were the best, back in the day.  All the information you might ever need for your road trip, in one conveniently bound pad of paper.  I loved those things.

We used to use Trip Tiks.  Before we had AAA, my step grandpa once wrote out step by step instructions to drive from Indiana to Florida on our first trip there.

  12. I suspect that the murdering daughter would have been victim number 5 if they haven't been caught.

Also suspect that maybe the mother got away with a few of her patients, when she worked at the hospital.

I was surprised to hear Mrs Hall say she's married. I wonder if her husband abandoned her and she chalks it up to his PTSD, but feels an obligation to "be loyal"? Or maybe she just said that because her relationship with Clock Guy seems to totally panic her. It's also possible that she couldn't legally get a divorce, so she's married technically, even though she left him because he was abusive.

The only way to get divorced in England then was to have the one of the parties commit adultery.

Finally got caught up.  Just watched Episodes 1, 2, & 3 tonight.  Enjoying it, but I have a feeling Carson is going to win it because no one will ever want to vote him out.

Teddi looks like a younger version of Melissa Rivers.  They could be sisters.

Don't insult Melissa Rivers like that.  Plus Melissa has a personality.

    Burning questions from Episode 3:

Why does Chris Kattan hate Todd Bridges so much?  He made sure he didn't get the Mon Won blessing, it was his choice to make him the nominee AND he voted him out.  I'm starting to think he wasn't joking when he told Julie that he hates him.

Are we sure Cynthia is a real "Housewife"? She seems way too compassionate and drama-free to live up to the standard.  Teddi on the other hand fits the mold.  I'm certain she was trying to be on her "best" behavior, but you could feel the resentment burning underneath the surface.  If she had stayed, I think she may have lost her cool at some point.

Cynthia was a boring Housewife.  She should have been fired years ago.  Teddi was a horrible Housewife. She is one reason I stopped watching Beverly Hills after the scheming to get rid of LVP.  I would have stopped watching CBB if Carson had gone home first and she had been safe.  Now I can watch a while more until I get pissed off about something else.

The actor who plays Mark is taller every time we see him. Given how short both Sara Gilbert and Johnny Galecki are, it's disorienting. (Not that there's anything the show can do about it now.) Also, the shape of his face is changing.

Mark gets his height from Dan.

Sure he's allowed to express emotion, just as anyone else is allowed to criticize the crappy way he does it and how his ire towards him mother is entirely misplaced. If they want to turn this character into a total brat that's their prerogative, I'm just sorry because I used to like him and now I kind of don't.

He sounds like a typical hormonal teenager of that age.

Think about who the guest judge was.  Tommy Hilfiger is about commercial clothing.  Sales.  He knows what sells.  So that’s how he based his critique.

That is why I really liked him as a judge. He can judge what would sell the most and make the winner the most commercially successful.  I really like Coral's too, but I could see her clothing in  a small boutique.   I can see Shantall's line in Macy's.  Kristina's reminded me of resort wear.  And that one blouse looked like it had a large open mouth near the blouse opening.  Chastity's were definitely costumy.

  17. I can see Rodney driving to her parents when he came too.  Kids back then were a lot more naive and would have no reference on what to do like they would now days.  I felt bad for him and her family having to live with what happened all their lives.

The more I see of Noella the more I don’t blame her husband for running off lol. Not actually but she is so crazy and annoying.

Ooh how fun going on a car ride to watch Heather brag about a lot shes buying. No thanks.

Nicoles husband seems so shitty. He seems like a really boring person.

Looked about as fun as the time we visited my inlaws in Florida and we had to spend a potential beach day looking for them a house, to buy, in another town.  So hours wasted in the car also.

  19. Meredith looks terrible on WWHL.  I'm so tired of Satan Andy acting shocked that the other guest, this time Bridget Everett, believe that Jen Shah is guilty.

I don't like Mary. Nothing Christian about that woman. I do, however think she is a lot more attractive with her hair natural and not wearing one of those atrocious wig.  Glad she is off the show.  Cracked up at her trying to talk to Robert Jr about what outfit she should use. I guess she is getting filming pointers from Meredith.  Also why is Meredith Mary's ride or die?  What does Mary hold over Meredith's head.

I am annoyed by the new stew and Heather sisterhood. Stop holding hands and go take care of the guests.   Heather seemed concerned that Capt Lee would be annoyed by seeing the stew crew all in the crew mess again.  What was annoying was why on earth were they doing her hair near all  the food?  ignorant.  Nothing she does to that ratty hair will make it look better, well maybe stop bleaching it to death.

My grandmother was a stickler for no one touching their hair , in the kitchen.  She would be rolling in her grave.

It would be interesting to see Galley Talk take on this season.  More interesting than the actual show, IMO.

What happened to Galley Talk? I really enjoyed it. I don't think they have had a new episode all year.  I guess because this season of BD was such a shit show, they showed old episodes on Galley Talk.
