    S02.E04: Face Off

    For the first time ever, two designers face-off against each other in an all or nothing battle. Using their fellow competitors as their design and production team -- as well as their models -- the competition on the runway comes down to the wire and ends with a result no one sees coming.

    I kind of hate how they obviously manufactured this whole thing to get Olivia and Ally out. Olivia was a terrible leader, but Ally seemed great. If the goal is a good business person, they could have kept Ally. But I guess it was "show us who you are", she did, and their response was "we don't like who you are".

    Nobody's really watching this, it seems...

    S02.E03: Modern Wedding

    This show is really boring me. Why didn't Awwndrea get in trouble for effing up the seamstress packet and then making Olivia sew everything?  & Ally/Andrea noticed the lack of Ally in their garments, worked well, and changed gears to do the pants/suit.  I think the whole "we don't see you thing" was just to get them out. Not really a fan of Olivia, but I think she got screwed, and I kind of like Ally but it's clear that they don't.

    S01.E07: The Rise and Fall

    I hated that he heard other teams hitting a pan and knew that they were making macarons so he decided to copy them and make some macarons.  I've been wondering if teams can hear each other talking.  They certainly can see the teams across from them and what they are doing.  I wish the judges would have called him out on this.

    I also wish the judges would have criticised him more for getting the extra clue and still being completely wrong.  he saw the pink ombre triangle and thought three layer cake.  It was obvious that this was meant to be a tower.  He made his triangle cake but then didn't do the layers as pictured in the triangle.  If he had, the layers would have been vertical layers on their side, which seems impossible unless he baked the cake, cut it into a triangle, and then laid it down on its side.

    I loved seeing his face falling as team after team brought out a macaron tower.  I especially hated how gleeful he was in that confessional when Cory and Dante brought out a cake.  I am sure that scene was filmed after the elimination, but it was obvious it was meant to convey that as soon as one other team was wrong, it meant that he was for sure safe.

    I'm even more pissed now that Cory and Dante were kept over Shania and Hope.  I'd like to think that Shania and Hope would have been able to figure out the macaron tower and then we could have been rid of Thomas.

    I'm quite certain that Erin and Amanda will go out next.  It seems likely that the final is going to be Thomas and mom, Elf Girl and mom, and the Las Vegas couple.

    I don't care for Lori and Jason (Unicorn Hair and Beard) and I wish they would stop mentioning their desire to get a house.  I hate when people go onto reality shows thinking and telling us that they need to win to change their lives.  This isn't a charity.  The worst was Bopper and Mark, the team from Kentucky that went on Amazing Race and then constantly had to remind everyone how poor they are with constant interjections of "WE SO PAWR" and then when the one got eliminated on his second try he bitterly said "I guess God doesn't want me to win a million dollars".  Pfffftttt,

    I get that they lost their house in a fire, so they now live in a trailer, but with their skills, wouldn't they be able to get good jobs and be able to get a loan to get a house?

     

    Yeah, he's a real pain.  I thought it was very interesting that he could only view that triangle in one dimension and couldn't think of it as possibly a tower. It's also really weird that they missed so many clues.  He's annoying, but he and mom, who is great, usually catch things others don't.  Also what is the deal with him and also the mom/daughter daughter being so concerned with needing other people to see them as a threat. That literally has zero impact on the game. all you need to do is figure stuff out and bake. what others think of you has no bearing.

    Yeah I’m not watching this because I refuse to pay for yet another streaming service, but I’ve seen pictures. I don’t get why Jan & Scarlett weren’t in the top. I thought rajah & Eureka we’re both just ok relative to them. I mean Rajah made a cocktail dress. Scarlett made a damn GOWN. Who else was on top?

     

    I also thought some other girls could have been in the bottom (ahem, Silky)

    Bridget left after two (two!) seasons. Hannah was cut. Brennan was cut. Jalyn’s been effectively sidelined. And they barely ever feature Amber. 
     

    Kelli has (let’s be honest, HAD) such potential right at her fingertips but instead opted to waste it for more “viewers.” 😢

    With the exception of Amanda, the last time I gave a rip about any of these people was the year that Bridget, Hannah, Jalyn, Ashlee, Erin, Brennan, Daphne, Amber, Caroline, and Rachel W.  et al. were rookies. God that was a good class.  They went from that to us not having a clue who anyone is in just a couple years.  good move.
