  1. I'm just starting to watch this episode now, and just within the first minute I'm thinking to myself, Carl is so terrified of Lindsay, he's going to present his negative fears about getting married onto his Stepdad and Mom, rather than explain that He went to Them with his doubts. They only confirmed what he felt.

This season isn’t heavily spoiled at all, especially compared to the last few seasons.  I’m disappointed, since I don’t like most of these people and want to just get the disappointment over now as to who wins and who gets far lol

I have to agree with you that the spoilers aren't everywhere or even that accurate, so I don't have a clear view of any winner.

I also had a difficult time warming up to any of the castaways, because of the one team continuously losing. It was depressing and hard to watch. I wonder how the teams were initially determined /selected?

Anyhow, there's only 2 survivors whom I "kinda" want to win, and even they're debatable.

I agree with you completely about Q.  I loved Q at first, then grew to dislike his arrogance and his bossiness.

I agree that she is the type of person who is used to getting what she wants because of the way she looks.

I can't stand Q and Liz gets on my nerves because I still don't understand why she would go somewhere if she has dietary issues?

I think Venus is getting a producer edit because the cast seems drawn to her (despite what we see) and I personally don't think it's because of "her looks" (because the poor thing looks like she's starving and sickly).

Definitely if Maria, or that nice tall guy were in the final 3 with Liz and Q...? I think the jury would be on their side. Q and Liz were annoying at all times. (Maria is playing a good game but it bothers me whenever I see her smug smile because she's ecstatic with her manipulations.)

Clearly I carry too much intrinsic guilt to ever play this game successfully. I tend to be the one blushing fiercely every time I lie or omit details. (I cannot lie to save my life, and I'm loyal to a fault.) So, I'd be voted off first, lol.

Yep, I'm with you. That's just my personality. I'll be furious and hurt initially, until I wrap my head around it.

But no way do I want everyone telling me how much they "love me" or I'm a "strong competitor" as they're voting me out.

If I was truly a "strong player", I would still be in the game, so it's more about being angry at myself.

It wasn't a candid photo. They showed the picture she shared and it was taken from a distance where he wasn't even aware or looking at the camera. Appeared to be on a sidewalk/walkway outside her home

For the record this IS a candid photo, and everyone is making way too big a deal about it. It was a good photo.

A candid photograph is a photograph captured without creating a posed appearance. The candid nature of a photograph is unrelated to the subject's knowledge about or consent to the fact that photographs are being taken, and are unrelated to the subject's permission for further usage and distribution...This style is also called street photography, spontaneous photography or snap shooting...

I’m not bothered by any of them working as bunnies.  They can be educated and cultured and also work this type of job.  They probably made lots of contacts in entertainment and other industries. I just hope the Playboy organization still isn’t the nightmare it was portrayed to be in the docuseries.

In no way am I dissing being a playboy bunny because it was a good paying, benefits given, type of job.

My concern came with the three of them bonding over this common experience, and it appeared to morph into a mean girls club. Especially when discussing what women were wearing and whether it's fashionable or not. Yeah right, according to whom?

And anyone that worked as a bunny knows that appearance and figure is everything in the job. I wouldn't want ex bunnies judging me, or offering advice, as it's not on the same level.

🤣on't recall them saying what happened to them, just that they like to fight.

I understood that the night ghosts just like coming out every evening looking for newbie ghosts so they can rip them apart and watch them grow back together again. I guess that's what people were doing during violent, major sales... trying to rip each other apart?

I agree, but they probably assumed that Pete would stay by Jay's side. What could go wrong? 🤣

I understood it's difficult going in public for Sam because she can never immediately recognize if people are alive or ghosts.

I remember the pilot (or second episode) when Sam went to the doctor to ask why she was seeing things, and the doctor Who reassured her it was normal, and ended up being a ghost! I was sucked in thinking he was a regular guy, as well.

That's when I got hooked on this series.

Nancy was crushing it. "Totally. I can't read, but same page."  "If you cut me, do I not bleed? I mean, no, none of us do, but you know what I mean."  "Cost Thor how? - You'll see. You'll see... (leaves, comes back) I actually need to go this way."  And the clincher at the end, "I also slept with Pete's widow carol. - Me too."

I find I will laugh at and admire different characters depending on the episode, but I love Nancy's character ALL the time. She has hilarious lines and her delivery is always spot on. Even Thor and her side-coupling made sense. She must always stay in this series.

About Carol — It's been so long since we've seen her that I may be wrong about this:
Didn't Carol seem a little over-the-top ditzy when she came to the costume party before she died? Would it be believable to fanwank that she had the beginning of Alzheimer's when she died, so she's literally not the same person we met in the previous season?
It's a little grim for a comedy, but not for this show.

I just remember Carol being loud and bossy. I did get a laugh at the efforts the ghosts were willing to do, just to taste a candy from her purse.

So torn about next week, 'cause on the one hand I'm so excited to see what hapepns in that episode, but on the other hand, last episode of the season :(. But yeah. Very, very curious and anxious to see how that plays out.

I am with you as I love Ghosts (both the UK and the US versions). And when they are off air for their season break, I go crazy trying to find something equally as entertaining.

So people if you find another show/series that's just as fun, let me know.

Holy shit Deal Mart is a scary place. I kind of love the idea of there being some creepy ghosts out there, it makes the antics of the regular ghosts even funnier. That place must have one hell of a Black Friday sale...

Being from out West, I immediately thought of Costco. As well as how many times I've come for 1 item and left with 20 items. I'm often wandering the aisles of Costco or waiting forever in some hideous line.

I don't think he was appalled that she took a picture of him, I think he was appalled because she snuck and took a photo and then shared it without his permission to mutual friends. The weird part was it was easy to just say "Alex is in town and he and I are hanging out" but she characterized it as this romantic thing that it absolutely wasn't from his perspective. If we are all friends and you are sending a pic to say we are hanging out, then tag me and let me know. It's the positioning it as casual sex to him, while saying it's something romantic to mutual friends that he finds weird.

Yikes sounds like a lot of game playing just because they were intimate. If they had never slept together, he wouldn't even blink his eye of her sending a candid photo of him to a friend without him knowing.

I've taken lots of candid shots of friends when we're out together and I don't tag them UNLESS I'm posting it. But in a text to another friend? Nah, I'd just send with "guess who I'm hanging with?" note.

It's not that big a deal so I think they need to find a better storyline. No one should be made to feel bad for taking a picture in a public place, especially if it was never posted on her Instagram.

Her entire look is dated and ages her, the tan, the thick black eyeliner that is running down her face 1/2 the time. Lu has the better figure, my hubbie said Kelly is "very mannish."

Your comment reminded me of when I was watching Kelly et el, and I said to my husband, Kelly reminds me of that girl on the Seinfeld episode who had the Man Hands. Lol

Regarding the photo, as I recall, he said he did not pose for that and it was taken without his knowledge.

I guess what bothered me is how appalled he acted because she took a picture of him while they were out together. So what if she sent it to someone (Preston) after texting him that she was hanging with him. They've already been intimate, and it's not like it was a nude picture or pix of him in a bad light. It was just a picture from their outing. No doubt she has half a dozen more.

But he defines taking a natural pix as "really weird", which implies a distance from her like... We didn't date, we weren't intimate ... She must have stalked me to take that picture...

What's really weird is sleeping with someone and then trying to make it a secret from the world. Step down from your own "weird" ego, bruh.

Nothing in Carl's actions tells me he's recovering.  Going to clubs and drinking near beer are not signs of a sound recovery.

I remember attending a workshop on counselling alcoholics etc, and the fellow said if a "user" becomes involved with a "now sober" person, thinking their sobriety will help the "user" quit, it usually ends up the opposite. Too many people fall off the wagon if they hang with a user. So Carl being with Lindsay is not good for him.

Is that why she's always wearing a bikini?  I was beginning to think that was all she packed.

I love Shanice and she looks amazing in her bikini. I know when I'm on holiday, the moment I arrive I'm in my bathing suit. (I'm nothing like Shanice as I tend to scare small children when I put on my suit).

I'm having a hard time keeping track of the real friendships. I "think"

    • Jasmine's real friend is Moriah (the dog hater who pushed Bria) No one else seemed to know her.
    • Phil (the angry pooper) is friends with Shanice & Bria, and Moriah, but no one else seemed to know him.

Lol, I thought the discussion about the "pooper" was to do with season 2 when Preston snagged an unclaimed room and mentioned leaving a poop.

I get the feeling these people don't really like each other, or have each other's backs? How can they try to bond if they don't live in the same city? On the other Summer House they have the work week to reach out and clarify or resolve, but this group doesn't have enough time.

Tripp makes me uncomfortable. He gets this mean ass look on his face like he’s about to snap if he hears something he doesn’t like.
He’s rather impressed with himself despite being uncultured and dopey. No wonder he’s down to one girl.
I bet his ex girlfriends would have plenty to say.

Yep, there's something off about Tripp and I wasn't surprised that his gal ended things afterwards. Tripp doesn't see reality the same way as the rest of us and he gets so upset at any advice or critique that doesn't favor him.

He reminds me of someone who has grown up being the apple of his parents eye's all his life and now he's in the real world; he's not the best at anything. And this is making him struggle.

You make some good points, but I'm also not liking that a few of the women were Playboy bunnies. It's nice that they've evolved and all that, but I was expecting and hoping at least some of them had a more long-term tradition of summering on the Vineyard.

When I saw the 3 gals all worked together at Playboy, the shallow conversations they often have made total sense. It's all about the exterior and the illusion of money. Even when one girl asked the group to name the worst dresser, I had to do a double take because that is so rude to anyone.

Even when another girl was talking about Alex (? still don't know names) and said something about "he's just so weird"  I thought and this is season 2 EP 1? I'm just not used to people coming in and blurting that shade out before they fully understand someone.

Two people have been kicked out already. One guy who just arrived there and pooped in another guy's toilet without flushing was kicked out and a girl who got into it with the girl with the dog for suppos

I am finally binge watching season 2 MV Summer House, and the first episode gave me red flags with alex (is his name Alex?). I know HE mentioned red flags about a girl who he had been with, but any guy who doesn't want a partner he's slept with to tell her friends, gives me concern.

Then he tells his bros that she took a picture of him, a nice picture, and sent it to a friend and "that's weird." I don't blame her. Alex was making everything a secret and she can't even share that they were out together? This guy has far too many secrets. We have got to stop these men from getting a pass for bad behavior.

Tripp seems obsessed with his own body.  All he talked about was carbs and working out.  I guess so he can fit into his skintight pants.

Although I'm watching in April, I still can't stand Tripp. I can't put my finger on what exactly I dislike about him, but he just is an odd duck all around. I think of these women could speak perfect English they would pass on him.

No one is here?  I like this banal show.  Except Tripp is talking in a weird accent with caveman words to the non-English speakers.  Oh wait all the dudes are.

I also noticed Tripp is so simple-minded, that he thought talking louder would be his translation lol

I also question how that one fellow (can't remember his name) could understand Japanese culture and stick up for the Japanese gal, when he "didn't know anything about her"?

Sorry about that, but because it was at the end of this episode, I thought it was fair game for discussion.  I'm surprised that you missed it!  ;)

I'll be sure and hide any info like that in the future.

If it was shown on tv, it can be discussed, or speculated on, etc. We are all watching the same episode, and if a viewer happens to successfully guess the next plot line that's fine as well.
