This is what I did: Go up to your icon and click on the down arrow next to your name. Select Manage Followed Content. The default is by show and you can change it to Forums for shows you follow with busier threads. You can filter the order to most recent reply. And then you can bookmark whichever list you prefer, or both.
When I tried that I got another error message. I don't have any options at that Manage Followed Content page. Anyone else have the same issue? I'm sure it's a work in progress so hopefully I don't have to keep trying too long before it's fixed. Also, I hate change.

When Blanche is all upset that Dorothy wants to use her cabana beach towel to soak up some water from a leaking roof, and Dorothy says she can replace it and Blanche says it’s not replaceable, am I the only one thinking “can’t you just throw it in the washing machine with some detergent and fabric softener”?
Yes, that annoyed me as well. Though! You shouldn't use fabric softener on your towels--it lowers their absorbancy over time. And when your roof leaks, you want your towels to be at full absorbancy. Even the cabana towel.

M is for "Maestro! How about something with a little octane!?" which Dorothy requests at the dance marathon to prove to the other ladies she's not tired.

I have no idea how to get to this show besides browsing for it...hopefully it'll be back up in Topics soon (since right now I get an error message)?
Anyway, I laughed out loud at Up Close with Glenn Close. I loved the situations Glenn and Stephen gave to each other and thought their reactions were hilarious! The Lord of the Rings mistake one, the passenger on an airplane identifies with your Fatal Attraction character--just the whole thing. I needed that laugh!

D is for Don, Roseanne's husband--this translates to "Dan" in Mrs. Wellman's head.

Y is for "YOUUUUUU!" as in when Jackie was explaining to Roseanne how they were different. "YOUUUUU! MEEEEEEE! YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

G is for Grab That Dough! where "better late than pregnant" is not the correct answer, though not untrue.

X is for Xs and Os when Rose is a football coach. The other team are Xs. Rose's team are Os. It's easy to remember because that's the amount of points they scored all season.

I know you're talking about Hallmark. but I find GG on various channels just about every day - Logo, TVLand. I would record them and watch at bed time.
I don't get LOGO, but more importantly, I can't watch recorded things on that TV. It was just nice to be able to turn on the TV and there they were. It's the end of an era.

Can I just please complain about Hallmark? I'm so pissed that not only do they air Christmas movies for 3 months (displacing TGG) (and no offense to those who do like the movies) but this year they changed the time you can watch them to 12am so TGG never came back at all for me! They were always my show to watch while getting ready for bed. Now it's Home Improvement on LAFF (which isn't as hokey as I remembered it being, but it's NOT THE GOLDEN GIRLS, which is like my comfort food). So, screw you Hallmark! I assume they made this change knowing they'd get more viewers for their movies but it really sucks for those of us who were loyal to the previous schedule. /endrant

Q is for quitting, like when Roseanne walked out on Faber at Wellman's and said "I guess we're not gonna meet our quota today, honeybunch".

N is for the Newspapers Darlene (kind of) delivered in a failed attempt to make easy money.
-
I is for "It's a boy!" when Roseanne decides to let David live with them rather than his abusive mom. This is how she breaks the news upon arriving home.

Since their are other references in this episode that are after 1985 it’s clear that the writers did not intend for the episode to take place in any specific time.
A few years ago they had an entire episode set at Live Aid a specific event held on a specific day, also 1985, and Hands Across America another specific event on a specific day, May 1986, both of which are more high profile than the year in which The Wedding Singer takes place.
I agree. The year the show is taking place is not a secret meant to be figured out. The date is meant to be accepted more as, say, wibbily wobbly timey wimey. If we're being scientific.

X is for the (probably) XXX "massage parlour" Dan was helping remodel where Jackie (allegedly jokingly) claimed the women walk around in see-through body stockings.
-
O is for the Obituaries Jackie and Roseanne once went through trying to find Roseanne a job that recently opened up in Lanford...

My Dish DVR wasn't picking up tonight's episode as new so if you get a chance, I would check your DVRs. (It's odd too, since it normally picks up EVERYTHING as new (like the repeat episode and then the 5 minute recaps and all that fluff that normally comes with this show)).

J is for Jerry Bowman, the Conner's former neighbor, who returned to Chicago for a son-in-law job.

I always enjoy when Sarah Chalke speaks Deutsch. Goes back to her Scrubs days too (as I believe she is fluent). It will be interesting to watch her and Maya work together. I don't think Maya's first thought is the money but rather keeping busy with something she believes in AND if it happens to be successful, well, great. I can see this family panicking to actually have some extra cash and not knowing what to do with themselves to have enough cash for X or Y.

The Conners Alphabet Game
in The Conners
I is for the internet that Jackie gets addicted to. She was growing as a person in the Urkel chat room.
