I'm not a fan of Selina ganging up with Tabitha, as much as she needs to "become Catwoman" or not. Selina doesn't need another teacher in villainy, she needs someone to teach her the "finer points of society" and Tabitha pretty much isn't it. Also it would be strange if Penguin were to forgive Tabs, so if she and Cat teams up she'll pretty much have to go on the run. That is, unless they're shaping up season four to be a war between those two factions, in case Tabs and Cat are badly outgunned and which would feel pretty much overdone at this point.

Maybe this should be posted in the Media thread but relevant to the episode, Tv Line has apparently been informed somehow that Barbara is not supposed to be Harley Quinn. Prompting, exactly who the hell is she? The girl in the alley that Bruce saves at the end?!

The good news about Thursday is that, as the night before the movies come out, it's a TV network's "prime night" so FOX moving Gotham here must mean they still have high hopes for it. We're likely getting a full season- to bring it to syndication numbers- so I'm guessing FOX is going all out, and how well it does in S4 will translate to how long S5 will be.
It is pretty much incredulous how some people are selling Gotham moving to Thursdays as some sort of "death slot." Thursday 8PM is a death slot now?`That's just crazy. A "competitive slot" is by definition not a "death slot." Also Gotham's move to Thursday is clear counter-programming with the show going up against heavily female-skewing fare. Realistically Gotham's competition is weaker on Thursday for this reason; the football games are way less watched than on Mondays.
I am pretty much convinced that the show will pull out all stops for the fourth season and see how it goes.

I'll get back with more but for now I have to say this must be the worst edited episodes of Gotham I've ever seen.

Avery's advice to Gunnar was several levels worse than any relationship advice Gunnar ever gave to anybody.

I really liked Paige in this episode. Honestly.

Summary of season 5:

I wouldn't say she's out of character. Thomas killed her because she was being selfless, she's come back as selfish. I don't know what will happen, I haven't seen a single picture of her from 21-22.

Morena is a fantastic actress, but for the life of me i can't figure out why these writers can't write an interesting female character unless they make her evil. Its all kinds of sloppy.
As I've said before, what about Selina?! She gets less interesting the more evil she gets!

Seems like the only way these writers can make women interesting is to make them villains. Yay?
Selina's not a villain. The more of a villain she becomes the less interesting she gets.

I've begun to think that Tabitha will die in the finale.
I can't remember where but I think I read somewhere that a character would bite the dust. Then we have several more hints.
Butch has Fish back in his vicinity, temporary or not. Barbara and Tabitha are on the outs. Tabitha taunted Ozzie about not doing anything about her murdering his mother. There will be a fight between Team Gangsters and Team Monsters.
Out of all the characters on the show, her life seems most at risk.
Oops wrong forum. Can't move, can't delete, screw it.

In some bizarre and illogical fashion the show managed to fix the entire trainwreck of Jim and Lee in one scene.
I'm pretty stunned. More later.

No, Bruce isn't snowballing the Shaman. From all the comments by David and others, this is a legit case of brainwashing.

I see Scarlett hasn't stopped treating Gunnar like something the cat dragged in yet.

What show were they watching?!
Gotham Identitarian Edition.
These people would all hate Lee and love Jim were only their genders reversed.

I think you disliked this one almost as much as I did...
Yeah, I hate reviewing installments like this one. I hate giving the haters of the show more ammo, but that doesn't mean I can allow myself to be dishonest about the show's failings.
Please, show, give Bruce and Selina back to us... :(

By the way, anyone remember Lee patronizing Bruce about letting go of his obsessions mid-season two? That seems kinda rich now.

Smallville-level crap? Remember, Gotham's only had three seasons. How do you think Jim and Lee would look after a decade? ¤lol¤ I think objectively, C/Lana was way better than them.
... and I still hated them.

Does Lee have a right to say that Jim sucks? In any reasonable world, she'd be arrested for conspiracy to commit murder, not thanked by Jim for coming to her senses and calling the hit off.

Are we supposed to see her as a tragic figure at this point?
I don't really see how. How are we supposed to take her insane grief and rage over the death of her husband seriously, when she cheated on him the very day before the wedding with the very guy she's now angry at?
It's pretty farcical.

S03.E21: Heroes Rise: Destiny Calling / S03.E22: Heroes Rise: HeavyDirtySoul
in Gotham
I have written many glowing reviews of this show.
