I felt like when Sadie started crying it was really telling: she actually, really didn't like doing this dance. I think if she truly disliked the rumba that much, I feel it wasn't necessary for TPTB to push the footage of her helicopter family trying to dictate the dance; it's not only sad to watch but implies that her views on modesty are not originating from herself. I thought it was sweet that Julianne complimented Mark for featuring his partners more in his choreography.
Count in me in with disliking Val and Janel's manufactured showmance. You can tell when they dance together that they really feel no attraction for each other. I disliked Pitbull as a judge, but I found it interesting that he called them out on it. Janel is an actress; it's obvious that she's just playing another role.
