  1. As someone who accidentally watched the "Before the Law" episode of Fargo first (my DVR ate the pilot, and I didn't realize), I can attest to its status as a good point of entry into the world of Fargo. I had a whole lot of questions, and was surprised that I hadn't heard anything about what I thought to be the in medias res structure of the season, but I was totally intrigued by the tone and the characters and the woodchipper homage. (Once I realized my mistake - thanks to reading a recap of the first episode that was completely different from *my* first episode - I went back and watched the pilot and many of my questions were answered. Engaging with linear stories in linear order is generally a good idea.)
  2. Grosse Pointe Blank is a total delight. Dark yet sunny comedy about a professional assassin having a career crisis. I'm sure it's streaming somewhere. And I don't think it's ever been a TV show, although it would potentially be a good one.
  3. Dave, have you proposed Grosse Pointe Blank, the series? I would watch Grosse Pointe Blank, the series. That could be great.
  4. I can find a bootleg script of that HBO pilot somewhere??? Amazing. I will seek it out. (One of my dreams in life is to meet someone who can secretly show me that pilot with its amazing cast.) Thank you for doing this rewatch, Tara and Adam! It's been a delight to revisit Smash through your eyes and makes me want to rewatch it myself. One day...
  5. There *was* an ANTM contestant! Jane - in the High Fashion cycle. I seem to remember that she acquitted herself quite nicely, both from a modeling point of view and from a not being a horrible blight on the face of humanity/Princeton point of view.
  6. 1) As a fellow Tiger, this article made my day. 2) Another notable reality TV Princetonian - Kyle from Real World: Chicago. And a delightful TV actress Princetonian - Ellie Kemper. 3) Not TV, but I've always been fond of the 10 second flashback in the first Nolan Batman movie to Bruce Wayne as a Princeton student. He looks exactly right, somehow.
