    I liked it.  Maybe it's because I've had past relationships like that, but I thought it was..."enjoyable" isn't the right word, but I don't want to say "true" either, because that makes me sound like a pretentious arthouse dick, lol.  Anyway, I could relate to it.  And I thought Sadie Sink's acting was fantastic.  I hope she goes on to have a long career.

    It's funny, I was always a casual fan of Taylor's before she re-recorded these albums, but now I really like her, and I'm beginning to see why people liked her earlier albums so much.  So, I guess this makes me a Swiftie.  Oh, noes.

    ETA: She's also releasing another video directed by Blake Lively.  I wonder which song it will be?

    I watched It's A Wonderful Life in its entirety for the first time yesterday.  I'm an early Christmas person, and I have never sat down and watched this movie from beginning to the end, I'd only seen parts here and there on TV.  

    I thought it was okay.

    I liked the story, and I liked the acting, but something about it didn't quite gel for me, and I'm not sure what it is.  Maybe it's because I have seen this movie be parodied so much over the years?  The story was heartwarming, but it didn't hit me as much as I expected it to.  And I was surprised to see how little time is spent in the alternate reality where George was never born.  It was very short, and I thought it would take up more of the movie.

    Oh, and I chose the black and white version, even though I had a choice to watched the colorized version.  It just didn't seem right to watch it in color.

    The French Dispatch (2020)

    I saw this yesterday, and I enjoyed it.  I wouldn't say it's my favorite Wes Anderson movie, but it was absolutely beautiful to watch, and the acting was great.  I especially liked Tilda Swinton and Jeffrey Wright, but when do they ever do a bad job in anything?

    The animated segments were stunning, too.  They looked a little like the old Tin-Tin comics, which was just the right style to go with the overall feel/theme of the movie.  We did have one walkout in our theater, though.  It was an older lady who loudly complained about how the text for Juliette kept moving too fast for her to read, so about halfway through the second story she just got up and left.  Oh, well.  Wes Anderson is an acquired taste, and you can't please everybody.

    What kind of comments does Jenelle get on her TikTok videos, anyway?  I'm under the impression that TikTok is for the kids, so what do they think of this near 30 year old tweaker gyrating her dimpled ass to hip-hop songs?  I'm sure her leg-humping fans have nothing but praise, but surely there are others who are less than complimentary?

    Some people pointed out that the only time she's "active" is when the swamp monster is chasing after her trying to smack her around.

    What I'm getting from this is...she gained a bunch of weight and has no other skills and wants to cash in on the easiest thing that will keep her name out there and she will have fuck all to do with the design or manufacturing or anything, and the whole endeavor will crash and burn because people still hate her, and then she will blame it on everyone but herself, and boxes of shitty workout gear will crowd the she-shed alongside the unsold brow kits from 2019.

    Ugh, she makes me so tired.

    Didn't she admit to smoking pot while she was pregnant with Jace?  

    Yeah, I know pot is legal now, and I have no problem with that, but it was an illegal drug at the time, if I'm remembering the whole thing correctly.

    Anyway, my point is, Swamp Cooze has always been on something.

    Britney looks amazing.  As far as I'm concerned, she can pose nude all she wants.  Having a body like that at 39 takes some serious work.

    Embarrassing her teenage sons...eh, whatever.  Britney's whole career has been singing suggestive songs and wearing skimpy costumes onstage.  I really don't think one nude bath pic is going to change much for them.

    Such a shock that the abused and neglected child forgot his homework.  This is just a warmup for what's to come, which is Jenelle never accepting any responsibility when her children make mistakes.  The mistakes will get bigger and more serious, and Jenelle will wash her hands of them completely until they impregnate people in high school and then end up in jail.  Of course I hope the kids don't end up that way, but sadly, they don't have much love or support, so...

    Is it just me, or have things been pretty quiet over at Moldy Manor, lately?  No calling the cops on each other, or drinking Corona while the kids are sleeping and falling in fires?  No breaking up on social media for the 1000th time or killing Frenchies?  What's going on, here?  Have Jenelle and Lurch turned a new leaf and learn to function as a healthy, happy couple?
