Also, BAD KYLE. I hate it, I hate affair twists. I hope it didn't go beyond flirting, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the case.

Maybe Kyle can take a page from his daughter's excuse book and tell Lana 'it was just a kiss'.

  2. Oh Chrissy....you're just so pathetically bad at the newspaper business.  Spending all night playing around on the dark web to try to help Lois.  Hey, Lois doesn't need your help.  Get a clue, Nancy Drew.  Lois is the franchise.  She gets front page, and you print anything she turns in...with a huge by-line.  Her name alone on an article is what's keeping your rag afloat.  You do the crossword puzzles, funnies, human interest (who's cow just birthed a calf, what's the weather predictions for the next week), obits, and report on who made the Smallville High wrestling team. In between, you endlessly and without shame promote the LL name to hustle for advertisers.  Get your butt into work at 6 AM and don't leave a second before 6PM, unless it's to cover the retirement party for the Chief of Police.  If Lois breezes in and works 15 minutes a week, none of your business.  If she fudges on her quotes or sources a little bit, you pull a Sgt Schultz ('I know nothing...I see nothing).

In other words, keep your mouth shut and your opinions to yourself, and accept that you will never, EVER, be a real reporter.  But as consolation, you are permitted to brag about your Journalism degree from Des Moines Jr College or whatever at the local Suds & Duds in between separating colors from whites.

I enjoyed seeing Jordan and Sam connecting. And it was weirdly sweet the way he gave advice on how to avoid security cameras. I think it'll be fun to see Sam giving him superhero lessons.

LOL, Sam tells Jordan to keep it on the down low that he's going to help train the kid, never thinking in a million years Clark might have heard their plotting...he also has super hearing Gramps, remember?

I want to like Lindsay. She worked as a hospice nurse and it just takes a really special soul to do that work. Plus I am really growing to like Mark and I think he really wants a good marriage and a solid partner, so I want this to work out for him. But every time I see Lindsay, I like her less.

    Sorry, but this is long.

I want to like her too, and I'm sure Lindsay is the model of professionalism at work.  She has a big heart and a lot of empathy and can relate to hurt and sick people.  But here's my prediction if they stay together.

Mark will lose all his friends.  Slowly but surely friends and even relatives will pull away, and when pinned down will tell him they love him, but can't take Lindsay.  She will offend all his guy friends' wives.  She will constantly embarrass him in public.  She'll humiliate him in front of his co-workers.

I strongly feel she's been loud and smart-alecky since grade school, and she suffered for it.  She's been talked to, scolded, got in trouble, punished, probably even spanked sometimes, and as the years went on, and the relationship she dreamed about with her mother never materialized, she got bitter.  She's hardened her heart against pain with booze and this flippant attitude that what you see is what you get and if you don't like it there's the door.

Problem is, most people take the door.  And because she doesn't understand why, she becomes more and more abrasive, and obnoxious.  Here's where it becomes hard for me....I am positive she has been instructed over and over again how to behave in public.  And for some reason, she can't do it.  Does she want to act that way...does she like pissing people off?  Is she just seeking attention when she tells a total stranger their shoes are cheap?  I don't know the clinical term for what's going on with her, but you can tell she's unhappy.  Crying in the hotel room when people call her on her bad behavior.

But now comes a man who might actually be her knight in shining armor...a man that will actually protect her and defend her.  No one has ever done that for her, not even her father.  But she's going to ruin it if she doesn't get help, and I fear even with help it's a one in a million chance they will stay together.  Lindsay needs intensive therapy.  I'm sure she's seen school counselors and psychiatrists before.  She's angry at her mom, her dad, her brother, her friends....and she can't let all that anger go.  So no matter what Mark does, I just think she can't give in their relationship...at this point she can only take.  And eventually, for his own sanity, Mark will give up.

  5. Alyssa reminds me of Ashley from Atlanta, who married David.  She was caught telling her friend in the bathroom at the reception that she didn't think he was attractive.  From that point forward, she never lifted a finger to try to get to know him or try to make the marriage work.  We found out later she was only in their house with him when it was time to film...she was living somewhere else.

Ashley thought she was hot stuff...too good for David.  David was very popular with the audience and they sided with him.  Ashley found out just exactly what the online community thought of her behavior.  It probably took her years to stop being labeled as that person who was so mean on TV.  I don't wish it on her, but Alyssa is heading straight down that same path.

I want Chrissy to be the first of the Smallville set to learn about Clark. That would give us some meaty journalism ethics stuff.

I have to laugh at the fact Lois, a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter, is working for that rinky-dink regional rag.  Chrissy agonizes over Lois' sources from an old story instead of doing what she should do...getting advertisers and subscribers to keep that bird cage liner of a newspaper in business.  Get off your high horse, girly.  Without Lois you'll have to go back to being the local newspaper of record and list all the foreclosures and tax delinquencies in the county, along with coupons and death notices.

There's nothing wrong with diversity, but in this case it came off as forced - to me.

It was clumsily thought out and written, IMO.  They introduce a hint of something going on with Sarah in last week's season opener that pique's our interest, and then at the end of the second episode she's insisting it was no big deal and meant nothing.  It also appears she wants to continue her relationship with Jordan.  Huh?  Is this the end of it?  I doubt it.  So why write something and then pull the rug out on the audience?  They could have let this plot line percolate for at least another episode...maybe see some flashbacks about Sarah at camp, being introduced to this girl, show some conflict with her feelings towards Jordan, rather than avoiding him for most of the two shows.  I'm not as curious anymore...might fast forward through this story.  This is why I agree with you, RMontro, that it came off as forced.  Because as I'm was watching it, I also simultateously got a mental picture of the show's executives telling the writers 'yeah, we need to put something in right away that shows how woke we are'.

Changing subjects, I got another mental picture of Natalie's braids getting caught up in the engine of Sarah's car.

Unless you're talking about being a few minutes younger than Jonathan, this comment makes no sense. Jordan and Jonathan are fraternal twins, so they're both 15.

Fraternal twin here....younger.  Can't tell you how many times in my life that's the first thing people ask once they find out I'm a twin.

  9. Chris is really into the frisbee golf, you can tell.  I've watched it but never played it.  But just IMO, bragging that you are the President of your local frisbee golf chapter is almost as eyeroll inducing as saying you're into Extreme Ironing or National Scavenger Hunting.

Seriously, though, it requires tremendous accuracy and ability to throw the frisbee for very long distances.  Problem is it takes up half the park, and you don't know someone is playing until they yell "Get out of the way'.

Apparently, the only way to have a pic be editorial is to have swaths of material swirling on a breeze.

Yeah, it seems that way.  The more voluminous, with added scarves being thrown around by the designer, the better, apparently.  Doesn't matter what it looks like (Coral) but it better flap in the wind or you'll be out (Bones).

If that was Christian's yellow & white design at the beginning of the show that was blowing around...I liked it.  Thought it was pretty.

It’s week 83, and I still forget Coral every week.

I still can't believe they never call her out on her macrame obsession.  They constantly reamed Rami in Season 4 because he loved to drape.

I can 'look past' the print, but WHY that glitter on the top?  Kinda looked like school arts 'n crafts and didn't seem to match the drama of the dress.  🤔

Thank you.  That glittered fabric is what ruined it for me.  It turned the outfit from acceptable to cheap.

Aaron definitely deserved to go home for that jumpsuit.  Probably the most hideous thing I have ever seen on Project Runway (and that's saying something.)

Oh goodness...EVERY outfit Geoffrey Mac put out for the finals except one dress.  Those hideous giant balloon coats...I still have nightmares of being swallowed up by one of them.  And I love Geoffrey.

(this is not the best-looking group of men the show has had)

LOL, you said what we all thought.

I had an adverse reaction to Steve the minute I saw him.  He reminds me of...I think his name was Tom, who might have lived on a boat...and he was matched with that go getter real estate gal.  Lillian?  Anyway, both these guys give/gave me a sleazy vibe.  If I walked down the altar seeing them, I would stop dead in my tracks and say uh uh...no way.

  15. The best part of the show, IMO, was the FIERCE dressing down Christian gave to Kristina when she was not paying attention.  Whoa!  The words were few, but combined with his heat seeking missile glare, there's no way she didn't walk away with singed eyebrows.

There's a reason why Christian is running a multi-million dollar business.

Lindsey seems to be too much and, like others, I wish she had chosen the first dress as it was lovely and flattered her.  I wonder if she thinks she has to be the life of the party-like she feels like she isn't "enough" so becomes even more.  I don't know why Mark thinks "the shark" is a great nickname as it could have many meanings-some of which are not positive or endearing.

Lindsey...hmmm...where have we seen this behavior before?  Let's see....abandonment issues; heavy drinkers; slutty personality.  Oh yes, Virginia.

This is a woman who has a LOT of emotional problems.  But instead of recognizing that (and don't tell me you didn't see it, Dr. Pepper), the experts disregard it and get giddy about what a great match she and Mark will be.  Shame on them.

It's very telling when upon hearing their relative is getting married to a stranger, both Lindsey's father and brother seemed more worried about the person getting stuck with her rather than being protective that she could get hurt.  It was sad watching how choked up she got talking about her mother's indifference to coming to her wedding.

Despite all her over confidence and bluster, Lindsey is a very troubled woman.  So the logical conclusion would be to take her off the list of potential MAFS because hey, she's not ready to take on the responsibility of marriage.  But no...the sharks known as producers saw ratings bonanza with Lindsey.  Someone that will create controversy and be outrageous.  And as for the vict...err husband?  Doesn't matter.  Who cares if he's looking for his soulmate and expecting the show and experts to truly care about his wants and needs and try to find him the perfect match?  It's all about advertising dollars, and the more crazy Lindsey acts, the more money the show will make.

  17. Haven't been on this site for a few weeks, and when I didn't see Jamie tonight, I wondered if she'd gotten the axe.  Went online and it appears so.  I'm not surprised.  The sharks have been circling for a few seasons; i.e. former MAFS who appeared to be auditioning for the show.  Beth for sure...IMO she wanted it bad.  It appeared the show was also interested in Woody & Armani and also Gil.  But instead, they went with Rudy on The Cosby Show.  I knew I'd seen her before, but didn't make the connection until she said her name.

I've never been a giant fan of Jamie's but I feel kind of sorry for her, especially if the show didn't give her the courtesy of telling her in advance.  That's sh*tty.

  18. I'm going to go against the majority.......I don't think Gina will retire.  I see her wanting one more year at point.  She can hold her own against any of the younger girls, so IMO it's not a question that she's slowing down or anything.

Another prediction...remember, you heard it here first.  I think Claire will retire.  She came because Covid dried every dance opportunity up and she stayed a year more than I thought she would.  MTT has given her recognition and she needs to use that to get to the next level.

I've watched the show since the first episode and there's been very talented girls come and go on the team.  Claire is the first that I think is a truly all-round professional dancer...one that could get jobs in LA, NY, Vegas, or wherever.  None of the choreography is a challenge for her.  She needs to move on.  She's wasting her talents in the DCC.
