The fact that Ann tells me she'd rather work for Ariana than Sandoval is quite telling.

By the way, why isn't Schwartz pissed at his supposed best friend Max betraying him with Katie?

I have felt all season that Ann seemed to like Ariana more than Sandy - makes me wonder if this whole thing isn't a contrived "storyline" - I mean what do either of them need an "assistant" for anyway?  They could use a housekeeper or a pet sitter, but an assistant?  And Ann brought her "resume"? 😂

Color me surprised that Schwartz's "best friend" is Max - I always thought it was Sandy.  The whole thing about getting involved in their "friend group" really meant VDR cast anyway, so Schwartz was in the wrong because Raquel was on the show, whereas stupid old Max is no longer, so Katie may be right that she can do as she pleases - but Max, Katie?  Really?  And then skanky old Dayna at the water party 🙄. At least no one's bringing old barf bag Brett back! 😖🤢. He was the worst!

Based on the house conflict, I can just hear Ariana and Sandy saying, "Why should he/she get the VDR paycheck and not me?  I'm not leaving!!!"

I'm unmoved.  We should be past slut shaming, and that's what using Lala's sexuality against her is, hard stop.

I don't agree with this - making jokes about these people is what we do, and we use their own words against them to do so.  Personally I think all of the VDR cast should be ashamed of themselves for various reasons, but they don't seem to be, which is their right and they obviously can live their lives as they see fit.  But we can also make comments and jokes based on what they give us.

Ariana might just be smarter with her money.

OK, so, this is kind of a strange article:

    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/ariana-madix-brother-jeremy-madix-165350970.html

I will say this:  My brother had a long history of treating our sister rather poorly, and she finally noped out of their interactions altogether except on the most basic family gathering requirements.  They've really don't actually speak, so I'm going to give Ariana the benefit of the doubt here, even if I think many won't.

    From the article:

Jeremy cited interactions between Ariana, 38, and his fiancée Rachael as the reason for the rift. (Jeremy got engaged to Rachael on Sunday, March 31, at Jax’s Studio City with Scheana Shay and Jax Taylor in attendance.)

Does this mean Jax has opened a bar like he said?

I was more critical of her several years ago. I know Lisa's humor can be mean at times, but my gosh, the other BH ladies can jut be so nasty. Lisa is like a saint in comparison to someone like Erika.

Lisa initially reminded me a bit of Paris Hilton with all the pink and cute puppies. The fact she's so over the top does make her good TV. I like to see people having fun, and with her, we do get a lot of fun and not just poor little rich girl, which there is a lot of on Bravo.

I don't even think her "humor" is usually that mean, so much as it is on the level of middle school boys sex jokes.  Which would also verge on sexual harassment if she were a male boss speaking to females!  And then when a normal person just tries to get on with the conversation because she's not funny, she'll actually repeat her comment and ask if they heard it! So they have to do a token "haha" and then move on.  When Jax, Peter and the Toms are rolling their eyes at your humor you should think about that.  What I think is mean is how she'll come in, get all up on them to hear the gossip, and then just rudely say, "Shut up and get to work" or "Shut up and get me a cup of tea".  And then she always has to be acknowledged for "what she's done for them" - that's what she did to that Cedric in season 1 of BH that turned me off of her.

Does anyone know if Lisa rescues other dogs besides "designer" dogs? I always see her and Ken with Pomeranians. Just curious. Not trying to make a point.

My guess is that they rescue other kinds, but the little fluffies are the ones they like to adopt for themselves.

Like Scheana's newly found OCD and her apparent distress over her friendship with Sandoval,

Actually I was just watching the reunion where they were all in their homes for quarantine, which was the height of Jax and Sandy hating each other, and Scheana was carrying on about how Sandy has always been the greatest friend ever, so that part isn't as newfound as we thought!

I know many people adore LVP because of her love for dogs, swans and miniature ponies.

She definitely has a lifestyle that should be on tv! 😄. I just don't care for how she treats people and I find her humor to be vulgar and juvenile.  (And I know what British humor is - and it's not her)

FTR, I have not wavered in my calling Brennan and Austin liars and gaslighters.

And Orion and Cam are too!  I hate liars, which is why I hate the men more this season, even though I find nothing to like about the women either.

That's a fair point.  I forgot to consider his business was a "hands on" affair and that he's basically its owner and operator.  Although there is still plenty of "gray area" to wonder whether he was as affected as he says he was.  I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to continue with the show anyway, it would just be nice to be able to trust him at his word on that and I admit I just don't trust him that much.

He's a Big Fat Liar.  Started on day 1, even if we didn't know it until later.

Why?  We know the relationships were dead since the middle of the season, so what is the point of another cry fest where the woman gang up on the men? I wouldn't have gone to that filming, unless my motive was to be on TV again.

I don't mean the endless "final" get-togethers; I was talking about him disappearing for the second half of the season for his "heart procedure" - he had to have an excuse or he'd have had to go to things 😄

Lisa was OK on the BH HWs until early on she unleashed Brandi (she used her because Lisa keeps her hands clean) on Adrienne who was a nice woman, but Lisa decided she didn't really like her anymore. The exposure of her surrogacy as Adrienne "lying" was disgusting. She was messy often. She did leak the information about Dorit dumping the dog at a kill shelter, although I don't blame her. Dorit deserved it. Lisa is well known for her relationship to gossip tabloids.

Yet she took a lie detector test to "prove" she hadn't!  That's why I don't have a problem with Kyle confronting her.

but i don't think cam was the one who said he was not there because of his heart issues, that's what the group or at least the girls thought. maybe he just didn't want to be around these people and why would he?

Could he just tell the producers that he hates everyone and isn't filming anymore?  Seems unlikely.

I don't deny their behavior but the real issue is whether they deserved the treatment they got from their husbands for wanting what anyone getting married would want or for believing that maybe their husbands weren't lying and faking and that perhaps there was indeed a future with them after all.  If being unrealistic and self-sabotaging is the worst that can be said of them I still think they're far better human beings than the men they were matched with overall.

I don't think they're deserving of how their husbands treated them.  I do think they're deserving of us thinking badly of them since they can't get it together, suck it up and have some pride and dignity.  They did find these husbands on a tv show after all - they weren't marrying their boyfriends of several years and then being shocked at new behavior!

I didn't watch Nashville and I almost didn't watch Denver so it's not THAT much of an addiction.  The only reason I watched this season is because I was curious about Denver and didn't have that much going on TV-wise and otherwise.

That's why I watch - nothing else good is on - I do watch Survivor on Wednesdays, but this fills up my weekend watching 😄

Of course no one questions it when someone says they have a medical issue, it wouldn't look good to do so, and that's what Cam was banking on.  He had the perfect "out" without taking responsibility for it.

Yep.  And he was a known liar before that.  All I want is a doctor's note 😃

Maybe she will try to compromise by taking fewer foster children, although then there will be less help with the animals.

I think she was making that crap up as she went along anyway - or did she actually tell all that tot he "experts" and we never saw it?  I recall her telling them that she's a "minimalist", which doesn't really vibe with a big house and yard and outbuildings full of animals and kiddos

Oh - also - this season we really had no discussion at all about the couple's finances (except the tiny bit about Michael and Chloe's rent). I don't know if the early seasons has more practical discussions but I do want to hear them talk about how they envision blending their finances (or not); what their priorities are financially; where they want to live; just all the pragmatics of how you blend two individual lives into one family life. I want way more of that.

In the early days there was a whole episode devoted to this topic!

I personally don't buy anything out of Cam's mouth and I'm on record here speculating that he over-dramatized his heart issue and milked it for all it was worth just to avoid being on the show.

Cam comes off so "sincere" but I am personally not buying it.

I am with you totally on this!  I see in the previews that he's going to accuse Clare of "gaslighting" him!  Big fat liar.

It's much easier for a man to meet a decent woman for many reasons documented elsewhere based on sheer statistics, so why haven't any of these guys?

Yep - they're all attractive and decently employed - should be a catch.  But the women need to get some dignity and just quit embarrassing themselves (talking especially to you, Becca!)

I'm also really tired of the notion that only conventionally physically attractive people can find a mate or for that matter, deserve one. You don't have to be a stick figure or have a perfect complexion to find love.

In real life, no.  When being matched on tv - people kind of expect it.  I think of Joey Tribbiani teaching a class on "Soap Opera Acting" which ends with his lament that he's stuck teaching a bunch of people who aren't even attractive enough to be on tv! 😂

The only people I felt sorry for during this episode (other than us, the viewers...) were the patrons of the bar/restaurant where the group activity took place.  The background people looked like all they wanted to do was eat and drink in peace and enjoy their evening.  But, noooooo, they had to witness the arguments, accusations, and word salad of the show's participants.  I would have demanded that the restuarant or producers comp my meal.  Really?  They couldn't get a private room for these shenanigans?

Really?  People say that about housewife fights too, but I must disagree with all of you - if I were there I'd be soaking up every minute and then running back here to gleefully report in!  😂

Which season did you first notice Lisa favors the men?

I enjoyed seeing her the season 1 reunion and last year’s. Even though at first it I thought it was her hardcore fans who just loved VR and that I wouldn’t be into it because I was more of Housewives fan, I enjoy me some Lisa Vanderpump.

I never watched it originally because I thought Lisa would just remind me of certain middle school teachers I worked with who just liked to be "friends" with the kids to get in their business and then gossip about it in the teachers' lounge. I got hooked after watching a few episodes offered on an overseas flight.  But Lisa was exactly like I had suspected she'd be 🙄

It's interesting...Is Tim a sexist because he suspected that there might be a girl's alliance forming, or was he right to suspect it? There clearly had been talk that we were shown about both the women on that tribe targeting a man, as well as the "Charlie's Angels" of an alliance of Charlie and the three women. In either case, Tim would be in the line of fire as one of either two or three targets.

In my opinion he is not, and was right to suspect it.  They should all expect things like that - the women should suspect it too.  I don't know why they are allowed but the guys are called sexist if they do 🤷‍♀️.

And yes - the episode should have been called "I'm here forever!" 😂

Agreed.  I do have to mention that all he and Raquel did was kiss a couple times - not what I'd classify as "making out" even though they called it that enough times to qualify as a drinking game!  So who knows what he really did with Scheana.

Why does everyone keep wondering why Ariana didn’t move out?  I would also ask why Sandoval didn’t pack his bags.

Probably because he claims to want to keep the house and buy her out, while she claims she's only staying so he can't do that.  (Not that I'm saying he can afford it; just pointing out what they both are saying about why they are there.). Furthermore they both seem to live like pigs so has it always been Sandy's fault when the dog got into stuff she shouldn't?  I'm not super tidy but my dog wouldn't be able to access leftover takeout or medication no matter what- the worst she does is lay on my clothes that are spread out on the guest room bed if I don't shut the door!  (Which she does gleefully, BTW 😄)

My take on the entire show is the cast knows the Vanderpump Rules model is done - the real friendships are long gone and the Toms "brand" is no longer a positive for the restaurants involved. Sandoval, Scheana and Lala are looking to move to The Valley (and its one of several reasons Tom doesn't want to sell).

Haha good take!  Although Scheana likes Marina del Rey and the other two aren't coupled up, which seems to be the necessary story for The Valley. 🤷‍♀️
