  1. My heart broke for Mirai AGAIN. Sigh. No Polina, Gracie gone bad, this was a tremendous opportunity. Just not going to happen for her I'm afraid. She was coached by Frank Carroll for awhile, too. In fact, She has had quite a few coaches and I know that hasn't helped.

Ashley always grated but I've grown to really like her and I preferred her program to Karen Chen's but I'm okay with result. Can't see either one competing with Medvedeva but I'm suppose at some point she'll make a human mistake, maybe... With Carolina back, she's almost assured a silver or bronze medal at Worlds.

Or I might dislike Rose because of her character on Designated Survivor. Or maybe it's a bit of both. I realize it's somewhat of an unpopular opinion, but she really didn't do anything for me.

That's where I've seen her! That was totally bugging me.

  3. I also don't mind the Olsen twin call outs and find them funny and also somewhat necessary because I forget Michelle existed. I don't see a need to recast, just let it be a running joke throughout the series. I honestly thought if the show was a success, they would make a cameo but clearly not.

This has been the funniest episode to me so far. I loved middle-age crisis Danny and even neurotic DJ. Still not warming up to Fernando though..

  4. Last night got a 2.5, which means This is Us on NBC beat it this week (2.8) and Big Bang in its 10th season has been beating it pretty much all year. Of course, it will get renewed but it seems to be burning out fast.

  5. It was definitely slow to develop but I ended really liking it as well. Colin Farrell's character was always suspicious but I was intrigued instead of annoyed like I usually am with his characters. It took a little while for me to warm up to the characters but I ended up liking them as well. I didn't care about the creatures so much bu I'm glad one of them helped save the day otherwise I would've questioned their purpose. Four more movies? I don't know about all that but I'm definitely in for the next one. Excited to see who gets cast as Dumbledore.

I liked having a movie here in the states, too. It opens up a lot of possibilities.

  6. I didn't love the Noah-only POV either. It was very slow and a lot of emphasis on characters I expect won't be prominent past this episode. Helen came off very desperate this episode. Probably Noah's POV, but then she's always been pining for him in her point of views, too. Is the doctor still in the picture? I can't remember if I saw him in the season previews. Don't know what to think of the ending. Definitely not enough to get me to subscribe to showtime now, I'll wait til Homeland comes out in January and catch up then.

  7. I'm really liking Masher, thought it was super weird when they hooked up last year but I love serious Asher and I think those two have good chemistry. I hate Waural. I liked Frank & Laurel so I'm not happy to see that ship sink. I haven't liked anyone with Annalise, maybe she'll get a new love interest next season.

  8. Very interesting episode. It does appear that all the Tea2Go franchises stuck with Jeff which I find unbelievable. The only thing I can figure is the owners didn't want to foot the bill to renovate their stores as the rebranded model. Jeff has a post up on the store's facebook page about editing, being lied to, he's a Christian man, and wishing American Tea & Spice the best. I'm sure editing plays a role, but Jeff is a dick plain and simple. They can't edit you that way if you don't give them the material. I can't believe he asked his son to quit college, there is probably more story there but I'm glad Marcus is sending him back.

  9. Oh Anna May, she's done lost it now, time for Cicely Tyson to come back.

I was wondering if Annalise set it on fire for the insurance money after the revelation she spent all of Sam's insurance money and for not even a good reason.

I think there is zero chance its Wes. Frank is a bit of a cop out since he's been gone all season. If its one of the five, my best guess would be Asher or Conner, although I think Michaela is the most expendable. I'm still thinking its Nate, although it makes little sense for Nate and Laurel to be in the house but who knows...

It's already been confirmed she made the team this year. Jasmine no longer cheers for them, she is going to be on the new season of The Bachelor.

I found her on their instagram account, clearly they still have last years team up on the website ?

  11. Usually, if I miss an episode I'll wait for the rerun on Sunday night, but this week I couldn't stand it and I bought the episode on Amazon. I've kept myself unspoiled so I'm rooting so hard for Amy and Kelsea, I think if they were going to get cut they would have done it by now, especially Amy. Can't argue with any of the cuts. I think Brennan needs a stronger look more than anything. I enjoyed Kellie Pickler, but I also like Melissa, too. I was kind of surprised they brought Candice Romo back, although I like her fine. I would rather they bring in Brenda, I bet she would bring the fireworks!

They mentioned using Yuko as an alternate, I've seen every season, I don't think they've ever had an alternate before, I know all stars are sometimes brought in for blocking purposes when they have injuries during the season, so is that how they would use Yuko? Interesting...

  12. No funeral, really? Will there be one next week? No one seemed to even care.

Ridiculous that Anika has had the baby now, 35 weeks have passed since she got pregnant yeah okay, whatever. She showed for like two episodes. And the baby went home too quick to be six weeks premature.

Can we get a love interest for Cookie, please? Can Derek Luke move back?

  13. RIP Ruiz. I love Tommy but he done lost his mind. For me, the theme of the last two seasons has been keep the #2 guy happy. Last season Dre flipped when Kanan shut him out, season Tommy when Ghost left him out. Kanan didn't like being kept out of the Lobos loop in S1 either. Dre is a mess. He's working for Ghost, being a spy for Kanan, covering for Tariq, and now he's helping Tommy. At one point I thought at the end of the series he would be the last man standing kind of like Marlo in The Wire, but I think his number will be up next season, he's just got too many masters.

Oh Tariq...he's must be really craving male attention. Kanan got him stealing shoes now. This is a bit unbelievable to me that he has unraveled so quickly, next week is he gonna murder somebody? It certainly doesn't appear Ghost is going to find out Kanan is alive this season.

So Greg saw Mike, are him and Angela going to work together now? I just hope Greg nails somebody, after all that crap Angela put him through with the stalking charges I really want him to get the last laugh.

Not surprised Tasha and Ghost got it on, I was surprised she sent him packing. Oh Tasha...why didn't you tell Ghost that Dean came to the beauty salon and threatened you? And why call Tommy! She's been so smart. Poor Lakeisha, I guess there's still a chance she just skipped town, there was no mention of her son alone with no mother. But I don't know...

I did love the way Ghost killed the Karen deal for the other club. Not really sure what point Kantos served this episode. I assume his character is done now.

All in all, good episode, minimal Angela but not enough Julio :)

  14. Sal - He's good at what he does, just not my cup of tea 7/10

Linkin Bridge - good song choice, I feel like they've gotten better each week 8.5/10

Sofie - always enjoy her performances, she's so talented 9/10

Laura - I'm still annoyed about Romania's Got Talent but she's good, no doubt 8/10

Clairvoyants - not my fave performance by them overall, but I liked the trick with her in the tank, still one of my favorite acts 8.5/10

Brian Justin Crum - did not like his arrangement of Man in the Mirror, I'm just not sure you should ever do Michael. He's got a great voice but I don't agree with the song choice 7.5/10

Tapeface - I've just never found him that funny. I do think tonight was better than some of his last performances but he's more like a street act or someone else's opening act to me. I imagine I'll be in the minority 6.5/10

Victor - Love him! He dropped a ball again but he just puts on a show 10/10

Dorenbos - My least favorite of his tricks, I thought the trick was just a warmup trick and there would be a bigger one, I still like him, just a little underwhelmed 7/10

Grace -  pimp spot again...couldn't understand her again...yes she's talented, but for me she's just middle of the pack 8/10

  15. I think the ninjas spend so much time training upper body that the obstacles that require agility or trampoline skills really get them. I don't blame them, just to get to the finals, the city courses are very upper body intense. Maybe next year, they train differently once they qualify for Vegas. Tonight's episode was really deflating, it's super disappointing that only four women made it past the second obstacle.

Looking forward to that crazy body prop in stage three.
