  1. See, Kanima Girl (Tracy? Is that her name?) is the only one I actually remember. I spent most of last night's episode trying to figure out who the other two were, and while I finally remembered Corey, I think, I still have no clue where Electro-Guy came from. Was he actually in 5A, or was he some unnamed chimera that got killed offscreen? Either way, I keep confusing him with Theo, and it's irritating me to no end.
  2. I had thought of that, but I'm wondering if the order of the transformation matters. We only saw Klaus try to turn people whose werewolf gene had already been triggered. I don't think we ever saw him turn someone that he knew had the gene, but hadn't activated it yet. Maybe that's another loophole. If you turn an existing werewolf (without using doppleganger/miracle baby blood), they die, but if someone is a vampire first, then triggers their lycanthropy, maybe they'd survive? They've probably already shot down that possibility on one of the shows and it's just slipping my mind or something.
  3. But...wasn't that the case with Klaus? He was a normal human, then his mother did the vampire spell on the entire family, and after he killed someone as a vampire, that's when Klaus' werewolf gene was triggered. At least I think I remember that correctly. So, in theory, a human with an inactive werewolf gene could be turned into a vampire, but as soon as they made a kill, they'd become a hybrid. Which may or may not cause them to die. They'd stay a regular vampire if they somehow managed to keep themselves alive without murdering anyone (which, given the past five seasons of this show, not gonna happen).
  4. Agreed. And it's even more annoying for me because I have so many questions about those two, and everyone totally ignoring them leaves everything unanswered. I still don't know how Kate suddenly has berserker henchmen, what the hell she did to Derek down in Mexico, or why she's working with the guy who murdered/turned her. As for Derek, why the f did he lose his powers, and where did this suddenly-chill attitude come from? He was NOT this relaxed about everything the first three seasons. I'm just asking for a couple quick conversations. Maybe not even that, maybe just some classic evil villain rambling. Please, writers? I'm not sure how I feel about the episode yet. I'll probably watch it again tomorrow to try and form an opinion. So banshees are telepathic now? Why hasn't Lydia experienced that yet? Is it only when they're unconscious? I hope that gets explained at some point. I kinda hated the scene between Stiles and Malia in the hospital room (and I rolled my eyes SO HARD when the door just opened itself. Really, show?), but I didn't mind them together the rest of the episode. I'm not really invested in the relationship, but they're cute together. I LOVED the scene toward the end with Lydia and Meredith. Also loved the gigantic fight scene against the army of...snipers? I know that snipers would've been shooting from a greater distance (and would've had far better aim), but I'm not sure what else to call them. Glad to see we're getting more Kate next week. I actually like the character, and I wish they would've been using her as more than just a third-tier villain all season.
  5. I don't think they were really interested in them, so much as they were using them to get closer to, maybe even get info on, Scott's pack, which is why Aiden got pissed at his brother when Ethan started actually caring about Danny. They were there and they were somewhat close to the group (though not close enough that they'd know about the Alpha Pack right away), so the pack used them. At least that's what I pieced together. As for this episode, I enjoyed it. I'm reserving judgement on the Meredith reveal until we get the full story. I was a little annoyed that dumbass Scott didn't send Mason to turn off the music as soon as he figured out what was happening, but he probably wasn't able to think clearly at that moment, so I guess he's sorta got a reason for being an idiot. The printer thing was stupid, and I don't see why they needed to increase Liam's price. He's still brand new to the whole werewolf thing, so he's really not worth 18 mill yet. Then again, Lydia sure as hell isn't worth 20, so I guess I just need to stop caring about the numbers on the dead pool. Everything else was pretty good though. I liked seeing Malia on her own at the bonfire, just doing her own thing away from the rest of the group, and I loved her repeatedly trying to shut Scott down because all she wanted to do was dance and get trashed. I feel you, girl. I wanna see more of Liam's friend. And less of the various assassins. They're not even trying to give them characters, so every time one of them shows up on my TV, I kinda just check out. If the writers can't give me any reason to feel anything about a particular character beyond "they're trying to kill the heroes," I can't bring myself to give a damn about anything they do. I'd rather they just focus on Kate and Peter if they need to fill their villain screen time quota.
